Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Curse of the Leper - A Rank Kinetic Genjutsu
An insidious genjutsu that induces a powerful illusion that causes a target to experience the rotting of their body, their skin and muscles seeming to peel away rapidly in an agonizing experience. They feel strength rapidly begin to leave their body, and any attempts to heal their body seems to have no effect at curing this ailment.

Information
Prerequisite: A Rank, Pox Mastered

Rank 1: Cast at normal DC dealing 660 Damage per round. The target's jutsu are all treated as Rank 1. There is a 36% chance to “Infect” another target.
Master Rank: Cast at normal DC dealing 825 Damage per round. The target's jutsu are all treated as Rank 1, and the target loses 1% of their Max HP per round. There is a 44% chance to “infect” another target.

Note:
- This is part of the Plague Series Genjutsu
- The “Infect” status can cause this genjutsu to spread to another random applicable target with an open Kinetic Slot.
- Applicable targets are targets that CAN be hit with genjutsu as well as targets not currently effected by this jutsu.
- Infecting another target treats that user as having this Genjutsu cast upon them at the rank the user used this technique on the first target.
- This genjutsu may be maintained for 30 seconds.
- The user may maintain the genjutsu that spreads to other targets for 30 seconds as well, separately from their initial cast of this jutsu.

Hemorrhagic Fever - A Rank Kinetic Genjutsu
Often known to imitate the effects of the Ebolavirus in the medical community, this genjutsu tricks the body to the very core. This genjutsu causes the cells in the body that control and rebuild the cell walls in a person's blood vessels to stop working and causes the body to have troubles coagulating. This causes the blood to run wild and pour out of every orifice in the target's body to include their eyes, mouth, and ears to name a few. And it doesn't come out in an ooze either.

Information
Prerequisite: A Rank

Rank 1: Cast at -2 Gen DC, all attacks have +36% chance to cause the target to bleed or increase their Bleeding Rank.
Master: Cast at -2 Gen DC, all attacks have +44% chance to cause the target to bleed or increase their Bleeding Rank.

Special Action: If this jutsu makes the target Bleed or makes their Bleeding Rank increase, the user may reflexivly pay 1ap and +20% of the CP cost of this technique to force the target into Hypovolemic Shock.

Note:
- Once the jutsu ends, all effects of this jutsu are dispelled and returns the target to the rank of bleeding before the jutsu was cast.
- Hypovolemic Shock causes the target to seize and be unable to move for 1.5ap worth of time. This may be done twice per round.
- While active, all attacks that strike the target can cause the target to bleed. If the attack can already cause bleeding, this jutsu acts as a bonus.
- This technique may be maintained for up to 30 seconds.
- Bleeding ranks and damage are considered illusionary.
- Once this technique ends, the target reverts to the original Bleeding level they had before they were struck by this technique.

Rank 1 Cost: 1210 CP, 605 per round maintained
Master Rank Cost: 1510 CP, 755 per round maintained

Delayed Agony said:
Delayed Agony
A genjutsu technique that causes the body of the target to go numb and not feel the damage dealt immediately. Once the genjutsu wears off though, all of the pain and agony felt by the previous attacks seem to catch up all at once. This can be either a good or bad thing.

Information
Prerequisite: A Rank

Rank 1/2: Cast at -2 Gen DC dealing 1450/1815 Illusionary Damage. All damage and debuffs to the target is not shown on the mod for the next 10/20 seconds, and is now Illusionary Damage. Once the technique ends, all damage and debuffs are then shown on the mod. At Rank 2 this damage may be buffed by illusionary buffs.

Rank 1/2 Cost: 1210/1510 CP, 605/755 CP/round

Notes:
  • May be maintained for a maximum of 20 seconds.
  • The initial damage from this technique only occurs once, and is displayed in the mod normally.
  • Primary and Secondary Effects are still rolled for and occur, but are not shown until the technique ends.
  • Damage dealt is calculated with all applicable buffs (including Genjutsu Damage buffs) at the time the attack is made but the damage will not be shown until the technique ends.

Parasitic Infestation said:
Parasitic Infestation
A genjutsu technique that causes the target to believe that they have been infected by an invasive species of parasite. This causes the user’s ability to fight off physical abnormalities. This parasite also has a chance to “linger”.

Information
Prerequisite: A Rank

Rank 1: Cast at normal DC, the target loses 1320 HP, giving half of that HP back to the user. This jutsu has a 36% chance to “Linger”.
Master: Cast at normal DC, the target loses 1650 HP, giving half of that HP back to the user. This jutsu has a 44% chance to “Linger”.

Note:
- “Linger” causes the jutsu to last for an additional round.
- When this Genjutsu “Lingers”, the target takes -20% of the base damage for every round it lingers. Round to the nearest whole number. (Ex: Taking 1650 the first round, the next round the target would take 1320 and the next round the target would take 1056)
- This technique may Linger for up to 30 seconds.
- This technique automatically ends if the technique does not Linger. If the technique does Linger the user must pay the maintain cost.

Tree Binding said:
Tree Binding
A restraining genjutsu which causes a target to see a small plant sprout at their feet, but rapidly grow into a full grown tree, ensnaring the target within its branches and vines. The user, believing this to be real, is standing in place and an open target for those around them. This allows the user to approach the target, seeming to come from the tree itself, and strike the victim quickly. However, attempting to attack the target with more complex maneuvers is often enough to snap them to their senses.

Information
Prerequisite: A Rank

Rank 1: Cast at -1 Gen DC, binds a target in a tree like snare. Can use the special action immediately after this technique is successful.
Master: Cast at normal Gen DC, binds a target in a tree like snare. Can use the special action at any time.

Special Action: For an additional 1.5 AP, the user may instantly equip a weapon in their equipment slots and make a basic strike at the target. The basic strike deals 5x the base damage of a basic strike and may be buffed normally as well as buffed with Illusionary buffs. Damage done is considered illusionary.

Note:
- This bind is broken if the victim takes damage, or the user attacks the victim. (They have a -3 Dodge penalty to the attack aimed at them though). If the user uses the Special Action their attack hits automatically, deals damage and then Tree Binding is broken.
- The special action happens instantly and does not require any time. Only AP.
- This is a full bind which prevents any action from being taken by the target. (Ex: Cannot move, cannot use chakra, cannot rest, etc.)
- The target may attempt to escape by paying 2.5ap and a contested Genjutsu Check.
- All bind rules still apply.

Rank 1 Cost: 1760 CP, 880 CP per round maintained
Master Cost: 2200 CP, 1100 CP per round maintained

This jutsu causes the bonds between the target and it's creations. These bonds run so deep that the target can feel the pain of their creation.

Information
Prerequisite: A Rank

Rank 1: Cast at normal DC. If the target is damaged, it deals 25% of the damage to all of their clones, summons, and creations.
Master: Cast at normal DC. If the target is damaged, it deals 50% of the damage to all of their clones, summons, and creations.

Special Action: Painful Bonds - For +20% CP cost, the user declares either clones, summons, or creations. All damage dealt to that type deal 15% of the total damage to the target.

Note:
- May be maintained up to 30 seconds.
- If the target has no Clones/Summons/Creations on the field, at both ranks the target will take +25% Illusionary damage instead.
- In terms of AoE, the clones, summons, and creations take damage from both the "Shared Damage" and the AoE.
- In terms of AoE for Painful Bonds, the target takes damage from both Painful Bonds and the AoE.
- After successful use of Painful Bonds, this jutsu requires a 20 second cooldown until it can be used again.
