Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Covered in a sheen of sweat, the young redhead worked tirelessly on the order of silver alloy weapons she had been requested to craft for the outbreak of a strange illness that had befallen the village. Citizens had been exhibiting symptoms such as accelerated hair growth on all parts of their bodies, accelerated growth of the canine teeth, and a strange craving for raw meat. The symptoms seemed to be getting worse the closer it came to the full-moon time on the surface, though most of the victims hadn't caused too much trouble being that they were shielded from the light of said moon – living in a cave did have its perks apparently.

Adding another arrow tip to the basket that was already two-thirds full, she stood up straight, stretched her back and took a long drink of the cup of water her father had brought down to her. Turning to look at her progress so far, she ran a gentle finger along the blade of one of the twenty longswords she had made the day before, turned her emerald eyes to the string of fifty kunai and thirty shuriken, then to the stack of forty daggers. All made by hand, fifty percent silver and fifty percent of the strongest steel she could get her hands on, she had been slaving away in her shop for the past week, trying to get everything done in time. Naturally, she had enlisted the help of some of her cousins when they could take the time away from their own small shops, so she hadn't done all the work herself – that would be insane – but, the weapons would work nicely for the purpose they would be used for, incapacitating the victims of the terrible disease that had been ravaging Sunagakure.

Taking another long drink of her ice water, she dunked her red-covered head into the bucket of water she normally used to temper her steel, shook most of the water off of her – her customary long braid swinging through the air dangerously – and went back to work. She needed to fill the basket with arrow tips before the order would be complete.

Covered in another layer of sweat, the teenager finally tossed the last arrow head into the basket and grinned. It had taken her basically a full week now and tomorrow night would be the first night of the full-moon, they were expecting to see a much more accelerated rate of transformations in the victims and no one wanted to take the chance on just how violent the disease could make people.

Now all she needed to do is deliver the order and she would be able to take a much needed soak in the bathtub upstairs. Calling her father down to help her, she began to load the weapons into the cart she had splurged on for orders such as this and soon enough the pair had loaded every last weapon up and she was ready to head out. Turning, she gave her father a hug and a kiss on the cheek before she positioned herself between the handles on the front of the cart and took off at a run.

Deciding to take a short cut so she could get back home to bathe, she cut through a few back alleys so she could avoid the night time traffic around the local bars. Just as she turned a corner, she spotted a suspicious looking man at the end of the alley she was on, right where she needed to turn onto the main road to reach her destination. Blinking a few times to adjust her eyes to the darkness, she noticed the man looked to be exhibiting some of the symptoms of the werewolf disease.

Slowly, she set her cart down, trying to keep her eyes on the man who had now turned to look at her. His eyes were a golden color, and they were reflecting a little of the light from the streetlamp behind her. Reaching a hand behind her, she turned her eyes away for a split second to make sure she was grabbing the hilt of one of her freshly crafted blades and not the blade, she turned back around to see the furry man running at full-tilt toward her. Her eyes widened and she raised the blade, bringing it down just in time to slice into the man's arm just enough for the silver to go into effect.

A bloodcurdling howl wrenched the air and she dropped to her knees as the man fell over, checking the wound with a gentle touch to make sure she had used just the right amount of silver. The wound bled only slightly and the flesh around it looked burnt. With a small, nervous, smile, she grabbed the unconscious werewolf under his arms and pulled him over to the back of her cart, laying him carefully across the back, making sure he was secure, before she grabbed the cart again and took off at a run.

Keeping to the main streets this time, she reached her destination in a few minutes time and walked into the building and to the reception desk. “Suchiru Amejisuto here with the silver alloy weapons that were requested. I also came across a victim of the disease on my way here and incapacitated him with one of the long swords I made for the order. Good news, the silver works...but now there's an unconcious werewolf outside...so if someone could help me unload, that would be greatly appreciated.”
