Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The times seemed to be coming back around full circle since the days of old, especially in the Fire Nation prior to the historic tragedy of the red rain. Kyuso’s clan, the Takei, were one of the very few that survived the crimson waters with their pride as shinobi and were among the native founders of The Ghost Village. Never once has his clan abandoned the ninja way, nor the Will of Fire, in spite of what many assumed to be a punishment by the goddess herself. Time, technology, and social climate were all great adversaries but the Takei have always endured, all the while clinging to their forever ways of the ancient. With the recent events of the governing councils full link to the modernized version of the Yakuza, the Konoha Corporation, for the first time since the great tragedy, shinobi have now fully resurfaced.

A great recovery in light of the trials from the past, but the ideals that molded the foundation of Leaf ninja still remain buried in the red soil. The faith of the mainstream shinobi lies in technology and no longer the Will of Fire. The ideal purposed in love, peace, and wholeness was the cohesion that made every ninja of the continent great, and a blindness to it nearly led to their eradication. The crusade of the Takei is to never again allow the Leaf to lose sight of their founding ideal, to essentially protect themselves and their fellow shinobi from self destruction. Selected as the prime tool of this crusade Kysuo, the youngest of the clan, has been tasked with assimilating into the mainstream shinobi culture while armed with the replete ancient teachings and understandings of the past in hopes of rekindling the true Will of Fire.

To do this however, Kyuso would need more than just ancient teachings and old rituals. He would need practical application, mentorship, guidance, and protection down the long path to restoration. Kyuso’s clan spoke of creatures as ancient as their own beginnings that could fill such voids upon the formation of a worthy bond, creatures that could be summoned whenever needed. Given one of the ancient scrolls of his clan Kyuso would set out in search of these fabled creatures, following the geographical instructions to a sacred area held near to his clan, the Valley of the End. The Takei have professed on good authority for hundreds of years that either one or both statued shinobi are the direct descendants to the founding ninja of the Will of Fire.

It had taken Kysuo the entire day to traverse from the city and arrive on the north eastern border of the nation. His assignment felt more like a pilgrimage to the goddess than an actual task with potentially tangible outcome. It was nearly sundown and the visibility had become rather dim. The twin statues and ending waterfall were still quite a ways in the distance as he found himself surrounded by lush vegetation and tall trees, which was probably not the best place to be with the approaching darkness. His coming here was a risk, leaving the safety of Leaf City and exposing himself to the harshness of a world to him that was virtually unknown. “It is for the greater good, it is for the resurrection of the Will.” He reminded himself in thought as he trudged forward, rustling through the shrubs and large flora, uncertain of how exactly to proceed next.
