[Shinrya Kitsune]

Kitsune had brought Shashu with her to the gates, she wanted to show the student more of the outside world. Specifically, she wanted to show Shashu the capital of the country, so that'd be where they were headed. Upon reaching the gates, Kitsune handed Shashu a student passport, and whipped out her own to show to the gate guards. "Don't forget, you'll need that to get back in, so keep it safe." she'd say to the student at her side.
At the sight of gate guards, Kitsune would hand over the passport to them, so they could verify it's authenticity, and allow them to go to Raiden's Eye, their destination. She assumed that Shashu would do the same. As she was a student, she needed a companion to make sure she didn't get into trouble, or worse, got into a fight she couldn't handle.

[Tsuirakuya Shashu]

Shashu nodded and accepted the temporary passport that Kitsune handed her. It's a good thing Kitsune invited me to go along, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to leave the village yet, but still...I can't help but wonder why she really invited me along. She speculated as she handed her new passport to the gate guards, shooting Kitsune a somewhat accusatory blank stare as they checked it. Knowing her, she's probably going to try to dress me in all manner of cutesy outfits and grope me the whole time we're at the capital....

“Bonjour Mademoiselles! Eh, you deux are only ze latest of, ah how you say, a gorrillion people to leave ze village lately! Is zis for some sort of event? Did I not get invited because I am Francaise?” asked Uchiha Sei in her usual chatty fashion as she processed Kitsune and Shashu’s paperwork at the gates. Upon seeing Sashu’s paperwork, however, she raised an eyebrow.

“Une chose,* Docteur Shinrya. La belle mademoiselle with you, she is a student. I am required to inform you zat her safety and also her loyalty to ze Raikage is your complete responsibility, oui? Zat is, bring her back in one piece, non? I would love to dress her up in ze cutest little outfits! Ah! A little sailor suit, even better, a middle-school girl’s uniform!”

Sei winked at Shashu and let them pass.
