Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

  • Agito bears a short and clean brown hair that is gel'd back giving an elegant and gentlemanly look to those who see him. Having a lightly tanned skin and bright azure blue eyes gives the charm when needed. Preferring stylish clothes yet convenient and useful at the same time. A signature white jacket with an open vest and the collar raised. Wearing a standard gray undershirt and dark blue pants with several pockets and a noticeable silver chain connected from the waist to his right pocket.
  • Accessorizing some more, he wears two white belts that crosses each other, with each belt holding a small pouch enough to store his weaponry and some items that are necessary for his travel. Along with that, he wears black gloves that allows him to handle foreign objects with care. His noticeable belonging is his own booklet in which he records his own travel logs, secured tightly in his right pouch.

  • [*] Agito at heart is an adventurer, never in one place unless given reason. As such, one can find all the traits of an adventurer in him - being brave, persistent and of course, curious to find ancient artifacts of the old world. He'll continue until he can find whatever he set his mind into, refusing to give up empty handed.

    [*] A bit greedy and the type of person to eavesdrop in a conversation if word treasure was mentioned of any sort of form, even going as far to make friends out of nowhere, and with experience - being sociable enough to trust some people even if it means not leaving their side until he could get the information he needs.

[col][legend="• H I S T O R Y •"][spoilername="Summary"]Agito started his profession as a Treasure Hunter at a young age of nine, reason being a random accident that happened and changed his perception of the world forever. Running through the slums of his little village, like a kid with nothing to do but to annoy the heck of everyone he encounters. His village was small and barely in a map, but still there were passing shinobi and alike that would actually drop by and he would take the chance to learn the basics of the shinobi arts. Though he wasn't an official shinobi, he knew it would be a great help in the future if needed.

Everyone knew him, he was a wild kid and the sight of him gave expressions of happiness while at the same time, worry - such a weird mixture but he could see right through them. Mainly because regardless of what happened to him, mainly injuries or what not, he always had a smile in his face. His crazy antics allows him to move as fast as he can while reacting to danger that he would face. As far as he can remember, he helped a lot of villagers but doing something unexpectedly that would turn out the right way, a carriage with a lose wheel and for some weird coincidence, he saw it wobbling and was about to give up. It was speeding but not that fast that he wouldn't catch up to it, as crazy as his actions were, he was able to save a newborn baby with their parents inside without being noticed. Running up to the carriage and rumming the wheel with his own body, a few bruises earned thanks to this so-called 'Chakra' he learned but it fixed the wheel, pushing it back in place. He was happy, nobody was injured except for himself but knowing things before it actually happens was something he felt was natural to him.

But one day, those expressions turned into worry only as Agito did not returned from his 'crazy adventures'. It was merely a day but without him running the streets and making noises was unusual and silent. Despite being the slums, one already knows how dangerous it is to go in a dark alley but from rumors, he never dropped by one. He was last sighted in the outskirts of the slums which was known as the place where dumps are wasted.

In truth, Agito found himself unconscious, wet and cold in an unknown place - his nose violated by a pungent smell that followed him wherever he would go. Last time he remembered, he woke up with darkness around him, a bright light above him. Judging from the shape and rusted ladder, he fell down an open manhole. Just a few bruises and all but even with such smell and environment, a butterfly that glowed bright gold fluttered around him before making its way deeper in the sewers. His curiosity getting the best of him, followed the insect deeper in the darkness until his only light was the small butterfly, appearing like a glowing orb.

Seconds became hours but time seems to have disappeared, he was in a trance - merely following the insect as it makes it way somewhere until a sudden drop, the light fading away as he made his descent to the unknown. Weird but he never panicked, a feeling that tells him that everything will be all right and he was right - he landed on the ground, soft and grainy, it was sand. What made him sure it was sand was what was in front of him, an underground lake cavern and what was more amazing was in the middle of the lake - a white oaken tree floating calmly with several butterflies like the one he saw before made their home.

Just a single experience and he wanted to see more, things such as these hidden away from plain sight, he knew there were more and he was out to search for it. Even as he grew older, he made multiple discoveries, finding landscapes untouched by man and relics that were once forgotten but now recovered. But his search has not ended, he just started his journey.[/spoilername][/legend]|[legend="• A R C S •"][spoilername="Mercenary Pages"]

Void Adept​

Void Adept​
For every action, there is a reaction, and that is an Opportunist. For every other action, however, there is a means of cancellation, of removing that force from the equation, and that is where the Void comes in. Experts of manipulating the unseen element present in Genjutsu, Void users have the ability to channel some very risky, though ultimately useful, skills.​
[col3]Pressure Points - Independent Special Move
Those who practice the void arts are knowledgeable of the body's weaknesses and pressure points. Those points control various mechanics of limbs. Attacking them could potentially render them useless.

Effect: At -2 Accuracy the user may reflexively attempt to cancel an opponents Taijutsu by attacking the target's body. Should the user miss, the attack gains a +2 to hit.

Notes:
- May only be used once successfully per round.
- If the user has Human Anatomy, this hits at +0 Accuracy.

Suppressing Fire - Boost
In order to attack your opponent you can travel the route of first disabling them rather than dodging them. Void Masters are particularly adept at this, able to strike at sore points and weak spots.

Effect: The user gains +15% chance of suppression when using Melee Taijutsu and Basic Attacks.

Advanced Cancellation - Modification
An understanding of their own mind and how it works makes it much harder to tamper with. As such one who is adept at voiding the outside has an exception skill in perceiving when their mind is being tampered with as soon as it happens.

Effect: Cancel may be used reflexively to negate a genjutsu attempting to effect them.

Notes:
- This technique may be used similarly to Body-Switch.
- The user may not specify what genjutsu or what type of genjutsu they wish to negate. This is due to Genjutsu being Hidden Actions.
- May only be used this way once per round.|Extreme Understanding - Boost
With their higher knowledge of the way a mind works, Void users are better able to thwart it. This results in their illusions being quite a bit more painful than the average, leaving their opponents stunned upon impact.

Effect: User gains direct damage on Genjutsu equal to 10% of its CP cost (per round).

Spell Cancel - Independent Special Move
Some would say spells cannot be canceled outright, merely counteracted. Except for this, they would be right, but it can be a risky technique. Void Adepts' motions allow them to knock a spell straight out of the air.

Effect: For 2 AP the user may attempt to reflexively cancel an opponents Ninjutsu using their Melee or Ninjutsu Accuracy against the targets Ninjutsu Dodge.

- May only be used once successfully per round

Counteraction - Passive
The movement of the Void user can be used defensively as well as offensively. This rapid movement can be used efficiently and effectively to dodge attacks abnormally.

Effect: User has the ability to use Taijutsu dodge against Ninjutsu. If at any time during this period they are hit by a Ninjutsu, they take a -1 dodge penalty, up to -2. Allows the user to choose which rounds it is active.|Sensory Deprivation - Independent Special Move
A single look at the Void which the Void master draws on can mark and warp a normal human forever. A ninja isn't quite as heavily affected, but the mark is still there, preying on their doubts and fears. Not even thought can penetrate this veil so easily.

Effect: Completely removes the opponent's senses for one round. During this round, the target suffers -4 Dodge and Accuracy and -2 Genjutsu Difficulty and Genjutsu Save. Doujutsu cannot be used. The Genjutsu and Save debuff fade at the end of the round. The dodge and accuracy penalty lessens by two each subsequent round.

Costs: 1,700 Chakra and 3 AP

Critical Fallacy - Taijutsu
In the middle of an attack is where the opponent is most vulnerable, and it does take far more energy to swing and miss than to swing and hit. It can hurt, too--especially if there's an obstacle in the way for the Void Adept to deflect their opponent into.
Rank 1: Deals 3630 damage at -2 accuracy
Rank 2: Deals 4330 damage at -1 accuracy

Special Action: If this hits Criticals, the target gains the Folly Status for 3 rounds.

Notes:
- If the user has; Human Anatomy, Called Shot, or Acupuncture, they may recieve an additional +1 crit for each.
- This technique may be used with any Melee damage type.

    • Kansei Sukyan - Complete Scan
      • A utility jutsu that primarily serves for tracking down changes in a radius or an object by means of spreading Agito's chaka on the said target.
        • [spoilername="Full Descriptions"]Whenever Kansei Sukyan is utilized, it is necessary to use it twice due to each phase of the jutsu has a unique effect each time it is used although the cycle will reset upon the second phase.
          • First Phase: The first application of Kansei Sukyan allows Agito to expend chakra to cover his surrounding around him or an object, layering all inanimate objects with his own chakra . This phase of Kansei Sukyan slowly dissipates overtime and and is limited in use due to the chakra used is equal to the target radius or the object's size and mass
          • Second Phase: Applying Kansei Sukyan the second time in a target radius or object will send another wave of chakra from Agito into the target, allowing Agito to discern any changes, such as fingerprints, footprints, or even objects that were moved in the radius. Afterward, Kansei Sukyan immediately ends and has to be re-applied if needed

    • Nuru Chitai - Null Zone
      • A radial crowd control jutsu that prevents chakra from being used within the zone or prevents chakra from entering the zone.
        • [spoilername="Full Descriptions"]Through his natural talent, Agito is able to create a small radius around him that repels or restricts chakra from coming out or coming in, appearing as a wave that slowly absorbs the color from the area around him and turning the color of the area into mere black and white, although this requires him to maintain his position which only helps when the target has been restrained or incapacitated.

          Within the Nuru Chitai, all beings that have already entered the radius are unable to expend or use chakra, simply sealing it within their bodies until they have exited the jutsu's radius in which it is returned to normal. For those beings attempting to enter the Nuru Chitai's radius while in a state of releasing chakra, the chakra will be pushed back to a part of the being's body that is out of the field's radius which usually leads to a sudden knockback if one tries to enter the field in a hurry.[/spoilername]
