physical description- Kasumi is quite lean build and towers over most girls her age at the height of at least 5 ft which can be seen as intimidating which Kasumi likes to use to her advantage. She has icy blue eyes which are slightly slanted and narrow, with freckles that spread across her nose and cheeks, much to her disdain. She has short, jagged brown hair which contrast's her pale skin and usually wears a dark blue headband, to keep hair out of her face. She usually wears a standard ninja clothing that is suitable in the cold but likes her hands to be bandaged and a scarf around her neck to try and keep the heat in
mental description- Kasumi is a thinker at heart and can't resist a challenge to show how she can come up on top. She is also always thinking about new innovative ways on how to solve problems even though some may look down on her for not following tradition. kasumi is always very blunt and it annoys her to no end when people beat around the bush and also if things are too quiet and nothing interesting is going on. She is also a very quick thinker and is able to assess situations coming up with numerous solutions, energetic when faced with mental challenges and when the time calls for it being charismatic. However she can be seen as very argumentative, as she loves to argue with people and watch their actions but also insensitive as she finds it hard to understand people's emotions. She can also be easily distracted when it comes to boring manual duty. However deep down no matter what facade she puts on she is always striving to prove to her father her worth to him and has insecurity about being worthy enough.
History- Kasumi grew up in a big family who are all mostly shinobi and take their duty and service to Kumogakure no Sato. She grew up with only one parent, her father, as her mother died in childbirth and three older brothers. Growing up Kasumi was a bit different from her family members growing up due to her innovative thinking which contrasted with her family's more traditional thinking.
Kasumi along with her family follow the tradition of worshiping historical figures such as Raiden but also worship their very first ancestor who became a shinobi and moved to Kumo many, many years ago and base their fighting style on his techniques
While growing up Kasumi was the closest to her third older brother, who was only three years older than her and wasn't away on missions as much as other brothers and father and she felt that he understood her more than the others and more accepting towards her new ideas. However he was the prodigy of the family and sometimes Kasumi would get jealous of attention and praise he would receive from her father and the older members of her family and she would feel a little guilty about it but that made Kasumi hungrier to become a shinobi. So when her brother had time he would teach her a little about how to use a sword, as her family's main techniques were using swords as they originated from blacksmith's. Sadly he died on a mission, doing his duty, which hit Kasumi and her family hard, this also caused her father to retire from his work. Kasumi aslo received her first sword given to her by her father, which named after her brother, Haruto.
