Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

All You Sinners, Best Put Your Lights On (Mission, Private)

Re: All You Sinners, Best Put Your Lights On (Mission, Priva

Sousuke went silent for a moment as he pondered what Kimi had said. Sousuke in his death would push Katuso to becoming Kazekage, and rightfully so. Katuso could not evade that... or could he? Would he? It was entirely possible that Katuso, who was more focused on Wind Country, and not Sand would ... no. It is best to keep this silent. Sousuke rested his head on the floor. He listened to Enzeru throw in his advice as well. The Steward blinked beneath his faceplate. "Do... normal civilized people do that?"<i></i> He asked most honestly. Sousuke never really blew off steam. He certainly did not scream into pillows. He punched walls, but the correct phrase was he punched criminals through walls because ... well ... that was the thing to do. "I'll try ... something."<i></i> He finally said as he began to input periods of rest into his upcoming plans. One hour here or there... granted of course this was wishful thinking. "Not everyone shows or gives me their appreciation. It's why ... well, part of the reason why Okibi left."<i></i> He left it at that.

Maku listened to Kimi speaking about having something to bite down on. The Hashigaki removed from his belt a billy club. He flicked it and opened it up. He offered it to the wounded spiritualist. "I'll just wash it later. I haven't beaten anyone with it. Lately."<i></i> Whether or not Enzeru accepted it was another matter entirely. Shizune merely kept quiet and held the solution. The hulking Inuzuka was not going to get into a fight with the Nekozuka. Cats and dogs always were rivals, but that had to be put on the side for now. Matsu let loose a small chuckle. While blind he could pick up on it. Ever so slightly. "Don't take her silence as anything personal. Old clan rivalries die hard I guess. Although I suppose... in the case of our mutual friends here ... old bullies die hard too."<i></i>

"Kimi if you require tools, I can if required make you plasma ones."<i></i> Sousuke added as the surgery seeming was about to begin.

His blue eyes moved from woman to man, man to woman. And only one thing went through his brain. Three bullets hit him, and he was close to being out of the picture. Yet Sousuke had taken far more and appeared, at worst, winded. That man was a tank, a trueborn being of determination and willpower leading to the best armor in the world. He chuckles at the thought of Sousuke wearing heavy plate and making booming noises. And then he looks up at Kimi as she hovers over here, and realizes he was asked not only one, but several questions.

”Not a clue what normal people do, actually. I usually just practice my aim or work out to release stress. But yes, it’s best to do something. No mortal can take all the stresses of the world upon them and not feel some sort of backlash for it. And like all backlash, it will be equal to or greater than what you hold in.” He looks up now at Kimi’s eyes, those beautiful orbs, and smiles.

”Needles are fine, no to the belt. Glad your dad approves, though I already knew that part. Also while you’re in there, any chance of giving me whatever vitamins Sousuke is taking? I swear I’ve seen guns do more damage to a solid steel wall.” He was loosening up somewhat now, which just meant it was taking too much energy to hold himself in like usual. He waved the offered belt away and simply looked up now at the empty expanse of cavern above him.

”Something tells me if the plasma tools come out I will be needing that belt, actually.”

Re: All You Sinners, Best Put Your Lights On (Mission, Priva

Even though she was frustrated and focused, Kimi's eyes softened slightly when she heard Sousuke's all too honest question. They softened again when Sousuke mentioned Okibi. She remembered the purple haired woman and the monstrous dog (man?) that always walked around with her. When Maku mentioned something about the reason the Inuzuka was remaining silent, she couldn't help but roll her eyes a bit. She wouldn't quite call it a rivalry, but she could understand why people would think that. Her biggest issue was with the members who had messed with her friend and her friend's brother. Otherwise, she couldn't care less about any animosities. Of course, that could just be the cat in her talking.

"I'm still not sure why the clans are so growl-y at each other. Sure, the whole cats and dogs thing, but we have big cats, not house cats. And Sousuke, I don't believe I'll need the plasma tools, thank you though."

A scalpel in her hand, Kimi leaned forward slightly to get to the partially healed wound. Enzeru had better stay still, after all, she did have a really sharp knife in her hand. She closed her eyes for a moment to focus and sent a probe of chakra to investigate the wound. Luckily the injury was not as severe as it could have been. His quick mystical hand had helped his body stop the bleeding momentarily. A quick twitch of her wrist, and there was an incision through the center of the covered over wound. A set of tiny forceps, and a gentle pull later, the bullet was out and dropped onto Enzeru's stomach. Kimi wasn't sure if he would want to keep it as a memento after all. Two more investigations, and removals, and the bullets were all out of Enzeru's chest.

She set her instruments down, and breathed. On her exhale, her hands started to glow a soft green flecked with purple. The mednin directed the healing chakra to the punctures, exciting the tissues, letting them know what they needed to do. She left a speck in each to help speed the healing after she ended the jutsu. A bottle of purified water washed some of the excess off his chest and her hands. The wounds were quickly dried and covered with sterile bandages. Now to see how her guy was holding up. She knew she moved quickly, but she did it with an accurate efficiency that many medics would wish to have.

"How're you feeling, 'Zeru? Remember your bloodtype yet?"

Re: All You Sinners, Best Put Your Lights On (Mission, Priva

Shizune refused to answer or remark about what Matsu had said earlier. "I guess a cat is a cat, and a dog is a dog."<i></i> He offered. The hulking female shot him a glance, which he was oblivious to due to his blindness. A smirk graced his face, despite said blindness perhaps he was aware of the glance. Shizune in turn rolled her eyes at this.

Shizune looked the side as Kimi worked her medical magic. This was all ancient Sunan dialect to her. Shizune was more of a brute than anything else. "I can beat people to the point of a bone sticking out, but I can't watch people getting cut up."<i></i> She admitted. Sousuke motioned for her to help him up and so she did. The Steward looked child-like next to her. "Easy Sousuke."<i></i> She warned him as she held him steadily.

Sousuke unlike Shizune kept an eye on the surgery. This was most fascinating as he watched the Nekozuka heiress work. Her initial question did not get answered by Enzeru, it was by Sousuke who blurted out O-. What came following that was a very exhausting explanation on some old study of the temperament of people and how that filtered into their bloodlines and persona types. Shizune let out a yawn as the explanation was putting her to sleep. After a two minute explanation of speed talking Sousuke blinked. His green lenses fading in then out as he realized that the question was meant for Enzeru to answer not himself. "Am I correct?"<i></i> He inquired. Maku was face palming. Seemingly Sousuke was very capable of the scientific deduction while injured. He looked around for an answer, "Maybe I should call this in, and we should get off the streets maybe?"<i></i> It seemed like the smart thing to do. After all Kimi did just ... prepare two major treatments. "That's assuming of course Enzeru can be mobile or doesn't mind being carried, and before you ask no I don't take vitamins.<i></i>

Re: All You Sinners, Best Put Your Lights On (Mission, Priva

As mention of the plasma tools not being needed come out Enzeru relaxes some more and lets his eyes close. He himself wasn’t sure why anyone here would dislike anyone else here, but he also just met two of these people, and of the other two only Kimi was what he would call more than a comrade in arms. He grunts as the scalpel goes to work, and his eyes squeeze as the forceps go in and find the offending piece of metal. The next few moments are painful, almost as much as actually being shot and in one instance even more so. Still, he suffers in silence, having been through worse as a shinobi.

Then she was washing up. Enzeru opens his eyes as she asks once more about his blood type, the ignoring of that one earlier not giving the hint well enough. Sousuke, thankfully, spills out an answer based on something he could only call medical jargon mumbo. He doesn’t know enough to confirm or deny the method, but he does know his blood type. ”Um…yes. Yes it is.” It was easier than the truth for the moment. The truth was a thing that needn’t come out at this moment.

As Sousuke mentions him going mobile Enzeru flexes all of his fingers, then his toes. Everything was moving, which was well enough. He’d lost a lot of blood here, mainly in the search for Sousuke in that rubble. Still, he was feeling better than he did for a while there. Enzeru rolls onto his side and shoulders his way onto his knees. ”Less a matter of if I can than if I mind.” His blue eyes show a grin his face does not have as he puts one foot under him and rises unsteadily onto both of them. ”Not going to let my pride take over and deny that I might need some help getting around here for a few hours, but we can certainly get out of the way and let people get things back to normal here.” He puts an arm over Kimi’s shoulders, as much for support as to hold onto her.

”Um…also someone should look into that spike of amber. It’s not going to cause any more fires but if it stays there it might cause a problem with traffic.”

Re: All You Sinners, Best Put Your Lights On (Mission, Priva

Kimi packed up her things quickly and couldn't help but snort when Enzeru seemed more worried about the flow of traffic than his own health at the moment. She was glad to know at least some blood type that she could give Enzeru, and the universal donor type would be perfect. She would of course ask for an explanation as to his hesitation once they were alone.

Once his arm was over her shoulder, she looped an arm around his waist. He knew that she could carry him if needed, and she would if he wobbled too much for her liking.

"I think he's stable enough that I could just take him home instead of dragging him to the hospital. If you don't mind, I think I'll just get him there. If you need me, I'll be taking care of this dork. I'll make sure he writes up the proper reports as well." Kimi smirked.

Leaves with Enzeru unless stopped

Re: All You Sinners, Best Put Your Lights On (Mission, Priva

Enzeru smiles as her arm goes around him in turn. He would likely make a fuss if she tried to carry him, however. For the moment he appeared stable enough, but how much of that was genuine health and how much was just sheer determination had yet to be seen. Enzeru was not able to take much damage without showing signs of it, but few things short of death would keep him from finishing a mission. His inhuman willpower was certainly something related to his unusual memory. Perhaps his brain was simply wired different.

He follows Kimi as she leads him off, whispering to himself as they go.
”Animoj interplektitan en ilia falo al graco
Spiritoj flugante alte kune la steloj
Koroj batante tempo por la mondo
Lipoj surteriĝi milde sur ŝia vizaĝo
Ĝuante tiu nokto, kiu estas la nia
Vivo de ĝojo reveninte hisitaj.”
