Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A festival was to take place, it was always a good time to take a breather and relax; the towering man might not have been much of a people person but it didn't mean he disliked the excited energy that such events brought about. Tonight, he was dressed in a rich, crimson red yukata with black trimming and embroidered with black vines spreading all across the top and the heaviest around his shoulders. One of the only differences between most of the other outfits around and his, was that it lacked a left sleeve; it was simply not there with no evidence that one had even existed. Instead, his arm was settled comfortably inside with his bandaged hand hanging down in front of his body. Every so often the fingers twitched against the fabric of his garb but went still just as quickly; the man was unsure just why they did that from time to time, he had no feeling in the limb so maybe it was just a reaction of the chakra running through his body.

Getting his mind off the demonic appendage, the towering man reached up and made sure that the headdress and partial mask was on his head; the plumes he bore were all in red and gold, the half mask like that of a bird's etched in gold with etched lines filled with a metallic red paint to accentuate the curves and embolden the features. His violet-blue eyes glinted with delight at the bustle, even while his face remained just as stoic and solid as the half-mask he wore upon the right side of his face. Long strides carried him through the crowds, the people parting around his form as though water before a prow, his eyes flickered across the booths and people alike; taking in the dress of others as well as the spectacles of people playing the games, or the food being cooked and presented. Stopping on the main drag before a grilled calamari booth, the man stood out in the crowd heads over others as though he were a pillar in the sea; even more noticeable upon sight for the bright colors and feathers. His right hand was resting upon his hip, making a bag full of yen bounce on a string that was tied to his pinkie finger, from the looks of things, the man was delighted to be there but bored out of his mind and looking for something to actually do; ah the life of a solitary man, always able to dress up and go out but hardly anyone about to join in and make things interesting.

Kimi scratched at her head. Seems like the small girl had something else to do. It was sad, but at the same time, it gave her time to spend getting to know Kei a little better. Since their first day, they really hadn't had much time to do things with each other. "Yeah let's do this!" she grinned, skipping alongside him. They made their way to the events, the crowd spinning around in a cascade of sounds. She spun and skipped, enjoying the break from training. "Let's go do that one!" she pointed at a game nearby. It was one of those ones where you had to throw a ball at a stack of bottles and try to knock them all down. She was so eager to play the silly festival games that she hadn't even noticed the wall of a man standing before her, and, inevitably, slammed right into him. She stumbled, struggling to regain her feet beneath her.

Kimi flipped her head to the side, forcing her hair out of her face. "Sorry. I didn't mean to run into you. I was just a little eager." she half-bowed in apology. Great. Not even there five minutes and something went wrong. Hopefully the man was kind, and wouldn't get angry with her for a simple mistake such as this. She chastised herself internally. She really needed to get better at the whole paying attention to her surroundings thing.

[sorry bout the short post. will do better. <3]

The rich smells of festival sweets cooking assailed Kei's nostrils. The energy of the crowd was infectious. Even more so was the obvious enthusiasm of his companion, it was all he could do to stop a stupid grin form coming unbidden to his face. He was glad Kimi had decided to come along, he definitely didn't mind spending time with her. It was a more than welcome break for the academy student. Kei remembered his earlier melancholy, finding it strange how easy it was to lift his mood just by having someone else around. She pointed out one of the games, Kei had never been good at the throwing games but he could at least try to win her a prize. He went along beside her, noticing too late to warn her as she ran into another of the festival goers. She might be damn good, but Kimi was still blind. That was bound to get in way sometimes. He put a reassuring hand on Kimi's shoulder. Like she said, sorry mister. The guy was massive, Kimi sure knew how to pick 'em. Kei's eyes quickly sized the guy up, he didn't recognize the man but he carried himself like a shinobi. But hey, even shinobi needed days off. Kei hoped he was just here to enjoy the festival like everyone else.

"We were just about to go play some of the games and weren't paying attention to our surroundings." He hoped it was sufficient. Kei didn't like their chances if it came to a fight.
