Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

[legend="Main Branch - Journeyman: WC - 130"]For a shinobi, any shinobi jutsu were their main arsenal source regardless of what type of ninja the person in question was. Jutsu is what gave them their threat level and survival rating and because of this they also had to ensure that their chakra reserves weren't tapped so easily. When a jutsu is first learned it is easy for a shinobi to upon accident overcharge the amount of chakra needed to perform a technique, but over time and many instances of practice and training this becomes less of a problem. It is to this point that many shinobi realize that they are capable of actually utilizing a jutsu's potential fully without using more chakra than needed but actually alittle less in order to support their chakra reserves much better.[/legend]

[legend="Shinobi 101 Taijutsu (Unarmed/Slashing): WC - 164"]Close combat was a specialty of the Raitoningu Clan and although their style was mainly designed to support the use of Kenjutsu, Arashi given his special case learned to supplement this with a hybrid usage of hand to hand. Coupled with his specially designed blade, Arashi with his Byakugan has developed a style more fitting to his abilities and taken the needed steps to ensure he could manipulate his blade well enough to the point where his fist could be utilized in unison. This hybrid style revolved solely upon his agility and flawless movements, shifting the design of the blade in such a way that for the time required to perform the necessary move it was effectively and momentarily airborne. If someone was to slow down his movements they would notice that when engaged closed range, Arashi would have moments where he released his grasp on his blade and made the flurry of hand to hand attacks before catching the blade once again.[/legend]

[legend="Clumsiness: WC - 134"]For some ninja, they were trained to strike the human body with such force that their attacks or jutsu could have such power behind them that causing intense bodily harm was highly possible. For Arashi this was the complete opposite as he had trained himself not to focus on overpowering his attacks but to be so accurate that agile that his jutsu were more likely to strike their intended targets. With this focus on being accurate alone, he never fully trained his jutsu to a level where they were considered to be majorly damaging. Scoring intense critical hits was not his forte, but because of this he was also less likely to be the target of such overpowered jutsu simply thanks to his focus on remaining agile and avoiding hits to those critical points.[/legend]

[legend="Acrobatic: WC - 133"]The name of the game for shinobi was to strike fast, strike hard, and avoid being struck as best they could. A battle could easily be ended in mere seconds or drawn out for extended periods of time all because of the shinobi engaged abilities to remain quick on their feet. For this reason alone many shinobi developed an ability to be able to keep their timing in check while in the heat of battle, adjusting their bodies and reactions to the point where they are capable of doubling their evasion abilities for attacks that otherwise they wouldn't be able to avoid. Arashi was no different and with the natural assessment abilities of his Byakugan, he was readily capable of utilizing jutsu to switch out of harms way multiple times in a row.[/legend]

[legend="Quickdraw: WC - 121"]He was fast, there was no denying that much of his skill level as a fledgling shinobi, so much so that he could make good use of both handling his weapon and his equipment kept nestled within his belt pouch. In the time it took a normal shinobi to process the movements he would have already drawn the needed materials without becoming submissive to the passage of haste. In this he was less likely to make a mistake and drop his items or mishandle his weaponry. It was all for good measure naturally however as his style relied a good deal upon being able to utilize his quickdraw motion and engage targets without worrying about them interfering with the basic move.[/legend]

[legend="Quick Reaction: WC - 108"]Shinobi were fast and quick, trained to move and react quickly to scenarios while ensuring no move was a waste of time and energy. It was muscle memory that played a pivotal role in this, creating a natural instinct against harmful actions that would otherwise cause harm to the person in question. His skill in reacting to situations was more adept than most particularly when his byakugan was active and his abilities of perception were at it's peak. Being able to attain a wide range of data and process it in unison meant he was capable of effectively utilizing countermeasures within that small window of space as well.[/legend]

[legend="Initiative: WC - 112"]Battles rely heavily on who can make the first decisive move or who can make the most effective use of their time. Having a quickdraw or a quick reaction time was nothing compared to being passively and innately able to simply move ones body at such a speed that you could accomplish a set move or ability quicker than the enemies brain would be able to process. Arashi was focused on keeping all his movements pure and simple, ensuring he did not waste neither time or energy when making decisive measures. His strength was not in an ability to hit hard but being able to keep every move in a fluid design.[/legend]

[legend="Weapon Mastery Unarmed: WC - 121"]Hand to hand combat was his specialty hands down regardless of the fact that he came from a clan of Kenjutsu experts. Although his ability with a sword were decent on the grand scale of things, his ability to become adept when in fist range of any opponent was a natural calling card. This was all thanks to the power of his blood which throughout the annuals of shinobi history had allotted those with the same abilities an unique upper hand when it came to fighting within a certain attack range. Aided by his Byakugan, Arashi had quickly learned that with his mastery of Kenjutsu and Hand to hand combat that he was an overall threat when engaged in physical battles.[/legend]

[legend="Martial Artist: WC - 132"]When one is taught the Raitoningu Clan's ways of NinTaijutsu they are not only taught the properties of both swordplay and lightning ninjutsu but also how to effectively meld them together in a fighting style that fluidly intertwined to allow optimum effectiveness in their craft. Arashi was the small prick in this usual training regime set up by his clan in that he had a bloodline ability which he had to train from scratch to understand it's uses. Because of this he had to become a blender and keep with his Clan's traditions while incorporating his bloodline's adept mastery of unarmed combat into the fold. It is in this sense that he achieved pure mastery of his art, capable of interchanging and manipulating multiple styles in order to get the needed results.[/legend]

[legend="Duelist: WC - 125"]There was a long standing tradition amongst kenjutsu users when engaging in sparring or otherwise life-threatening engagements and that was to pay close attention to the opponent before their eyes. One could do a lot with this mental focus in play, including readying their bodies and actions to reflect the type of assault being performed by the assailant which they had laid focus upon. For a user of the Byakugan this skill could be transcended mainly because although their focus would be upon one opponent, there was not a loss at being blind to the happenings on the battlefield. With an almost complete 360 degree range of sight, keeping tabs on the surroundings while keeping an eye on their opponent was a nature ability.[/legend]

[legend="Deflection: WC - 127"]It was no surprise that with Arashi's natural boost to agility and perception and his byakugan's latent abilities that he wasn't also adept at deflecting attacks. While he was a user of the Kaiten technique, learned through intense study of archives detailing what ninja from the bloodline were capable of, he had also developed a passive knack for redirection of attacks he was capable of avoiding. Fluid motion was required in this as only after he had perceived a dangerous threat and avoided it could he manipulate his momentum to at times readjust the missed technique or skill back to the user or another target. Although this chance was not always possible, it was still a valuable trait which Arashi was happy to keep in his pocket.[/legend]

[legend="Lightning Chakra Style: WC - 147"]By birth he was fated to be a master of his chakra nature which was attuned to lightning. His clan had for generations been adept at transforming their chakra into multiple uses when engaged in battle which melded well with their kenjutsu skills. Arashi was no different than the rest of his clan in this aspect except he was more disciplined in the defensive trait his chakra could bestow, a style of fighting his clan did offer when teaching the youth it's secrets. Arashi was a practitioner of naturally syncing his chakra with physical contact of his body which would send charges of lightning through the person in contacts body innately at given times. This style was trained into interested Raitoningu children so that while engaged in close combat, there was a higher chance that they could gain the upper hand by momentarily stunning their opponents.[/legend]

[legend="Hidden Power: WC - 136"]There was within him a pure enjoyment of being within battle, something that was naturally occurring to the point where even he was unaware of it being there. Arashi had a nasty habit of enjoying a fight the more his body succumb to bodily harm, potentially because he had always been so capable of avoiding being severely damage that should the time come his blood would pump faster. He would find delight in overcoming adversity and of meeting a challenge head on. That was his true potential and hidden trait which was even a secret to himself, the power of never giving into defeat even if he was on the precipice of death. It was the notion that even if you were succumb with darkness, light could still seep it's way through and turn the tides.[/legend]

Name: Hari
Description: A blade forged specifically to suit Arashi's hybrid style of fighting by blacksmiths of the Raitoningu Clan. Hari resembles an overgrown senbon needle and has ninja wire coiled into the bandaged handle of the blade. The pores themselves are have even smaller holes within them which are capable of drawing out chakra from the victim. [legend="Strategist: WC - 110"]Preparedness was a prerequisite when it came down to a shinobi's skill as in one way or another every shinobi was in a constant state of readiness. Whether this was through darker methods as having cursed seals on hand to adjust their abilities at the blink of an eye, should need arise. Or if this was in a way where they had trained their bodies to react quickly to a situation and calculate the most effective response within a short window of time. For Arashi, his level of preparedness and strategy for surviving encounters and random factors was to ensure the weapons and items he used were always on hand.[/legend]
