Ziren was still hanging around the Forest of Death, with nothing to do, just moping around. But he knew that just sitting around would not help at all. He would need to make himself stronger. Even at the disadvantage he is now at, with how everyone else is gaining ground, he is losing ground.
Ziren focused chakra into his hand, he made a Rasengane. But he knew that wasn't enough. His fight with Takeshi proved that. He let the chakra form, even stronger, he concentrated, imagined the chakra in his hand to be pure power. It felt heavier, as Ziren added the water element to it, it was even more heavy. Finally, Ziren added some blood to it, to make it a swirling vortex sphere of blood.
He's done this before, but why was it so hard now? Well mainly, back then, he had two hands to form the sphere of the justsu, to shape and form it. Now, he has to focus and put more power into his efforts.
In just a few seconds, Ziren was drenched in sweat from just doing that. But he wasn't going to call it quits now. With more effort, Ziren made more hand seals, this time, he made water that he was surfing on, Hydro Tidal Shockwave. He was doing good, until he lost control and the water splashed down and resulted in him falling flat on his face.
Ziren got back up. Not satisfied with the results. He is trying is damndest and still getting nowhere. He kept at it for another hour until he felt like he spent the rest of his chakra.
