Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

For the past kilometer of movement Akira had been running across snow without leaving a trace. His chakra allowing him to do so with ease. A flash of light from the mountainside told Akira that the gates were being told of his approach. They would know that the Raikage was coming, and coming fast, but that he also carried with him someone unidentified, but that the headband she wore was that of Waterfall and had a strike through it.

Questions would be raised, why was the Raikage carrying a missing nin? Still Akira was ready to answer those questions when he needed to.

Landing at the gates he helped her off of his shoulder.

These are the gates to my home. He said looking to her.

With a reassuring smile he continued Everyone in here will protect you.

The gates were massive, even compared to him, they had stood for a thousands years, and would not fall under his watch. Yet the girl had no idea of his rank or station, who he was to this village to which he had brought her, who it was she had agreed to be the adoptive daughter to.

Looking to the gates he waited for the person who was stationed there to greet them.

She had looked around as if seeing the world for the first time, she was amazed how it seemed like he had carried her from mother spring and back into sister winter. A momentary hint of blue sky, and even this bit of light was enough to release a flash of diamonds across the wide landscape, so oddly disfigured by its snowy adventure. Usually the snow stopped at that hour of the day -she knew that from experience, not always, but usually-, as if for a quick survey of what had been achieved thus far; the days of sunshine seemed to serve much the same purpose—the flurries died down and the sun’s direct glare attempted to melt the luscious, pure surface of drifted new snow.

It was a fairy-tale world, child-like and funny. Boughs of trees adorned with thick pillows, so fluffy someone must have plumped them up; the ground a series of humps and mounds, beneath which slinking underbrush or outcrops of rock lay hidden; a landscape of crouching, cowering gnomes in droll disguises—it was comic to behold, straight out of a book of fairy tales. But if there was something roguish and fantastic about the immediate vicinity through which they un-laboriously made their way, the towering statues of snow-clad Alps, gazing down from the distance, awakened feelings of the sublime and holy.

The walls which stood nesteled between the mountain alps were high and mighty in their own right, the only landmark around here which didn't have to bow to the alps in unquestioned submission, and these man made constructions of wonder and wore the regal gift from sister winter, a brilliant regal robe of blue and white. The girl was in awe. Could it really be true, was this to be her home? A wide toothsmile, nigh exclusive to that of children, spread across her face in utter glee, such beauty- All tears forgotten -She couldn't help but giggle, in barely held anticipation.. It was soo massive, so stout, and she could barely contain her joy- for a girl whom had been alone and without real safety, this seemed paradise. These were the gates to home, dads' home, a home shed live in and where she actually had a future to look forward to. And if what he said were true, it was FULL of nice people like him..

She looked down from his shoulder, shamelessly displaying her wide smile, she didn't know what to say, she didn't know what her new father would find proper.. So she swallowed all the bubbling words with a small sound and just pointed almost accusingly at the source of her excitement. Suzume couldn't help it, she clapped a few times, but without the force to make sound, where-after she hurried to grip his arm again as her excessive movement almost put herself off balance. She giggled again, drunk on her own excitement and rapturousness. She finally spoke, though this was more a reaction than a deliberately thought out response.
"Thank you, ohh Thank you Akira-ue!" She was practically luminescent with pure joy.

Tomo sat quietly in the gate booth, reading over the gate manual for the tenth time. He needed to put everything to memory, and it was a slow process. Like all rules, there were exceptions, convoluted procedures, and there were parts that Tomo questioned. With his inexperience, one would think he would be relieved to have ANBU back-up, but he couldn't actually say it made him feel better. It just gave him anxiety that a fight might break out at any given moment. Not to mention they didn't like answering his ridiculous gate questions.

A nudge to his shoulder snapped Tomo out of his reading, and he turned to look at the masked ANBU. "Someone's coming. Go take care of it." Tomo shut his manual and gave a nod. It wasn't until the Mochizuki drew closer that he realized exactly who was at the gates. He blushed as he swore he heard snickering from his gate partner. Tomo bowed deeply. "R-Raikage-sama. It is good to see you return." Tomo's eye darted back and forth. "I'm, uh, not sure how to handle this. The manual doesn't specify procedure for the Raikage's entrance. So...um...I'll have to see your ID?" Tomo bit his lower lip, hoping Saito wouldn't smite him for making his own leader follow the same procedures as everyone else. He glanced at the girl with the slashed headband and furrowed his brows. He also wasn't sure how to deal with a random little girl who may or may not be a missing nin. Was she in a disguise? Was she actually far stronger than she appeared? Was she one of those ridiculous prodigies or had a demon that made her too strong for her own good? If Tomo was lucky, the man before him was indeed Saito and he could just let him handle the child.

You guys can just assume Tomo will let you in upon seeing ID. But if you guys want to do some back and forth, I'm fine with that too. Up to you guys.

Things were going a bit too fast for her taste and she didn't understand most of what was said.. But she understood that, Dad was important.. Though that was not the only thing she noticed. He looked nervously AT HER. Gehehe, gee. This was funny, and processing all the rest of the information could wait till later. Looking the man whom had approached them in the eyes, she kept a emotionless expression, and after some seconds, narrowed her eyebrows ever so slightly.. She was giggling on the inside, all shyness, hesitation and her own nervousness temporarily forgotten.

OOC: Short reactionary post-

It was the young Mochizuki boy, Tomo who was on duty today. Akira bowed his head in return of the others bow. He knew of this boy due to his winning a sword which Akira had fashioned during the last Raiden festival, which seemed so long ago now.

It's good to see you too Tomo. He said before the other stumbled around on his words, unsure on protocol.

Yes, it's the same as for anyone else. Checking my ID and matching it against the records of my leaving, making sure that I am meant to be back by now and all that. Handing his ID over to Tomo he noticed the boys looking at Suzume. Akira followed his gaze and looked at the diminutive girl as well, she was looking back at Tomo, then he watched as she seemed to frown at him slightly.

Akira barely controlled a grin as he looked back at the nervous boy before them.

She's with me. He said hoping to sound reassuring.

Tomo did the regulation check and then let them through. Nodding to Tomo, Akira led his soon-to-be daughter to the tower which stood out on the skyline. His office, his home, soon to be her home, but also the place where all the administration of the village takes place. The place where they will first officially be father and daughter, and their home for the foreseeable future.

Tomo's eyes widened slightly as the little girl locked her gaze on him. Shit! She's all of the above! A missing nin disguised as a little girl that is obviously far stronger than she looks due to being a prodigy AND having a demon inside her! Tomo could feel a bead of sweat fall along the side of his face, despite the typical Kumogakure cold. Though merging with a Ghost Walker had given Tomo a resistance to fear, it only really applied to Genjutsu. It couldn't save him from the terror of a small little girl, who was very much real, staring deeply into his soul. She was probably sucking out his essence with each second that ticked by.

These thoughts were interrupted as Saito explained it was just as mandatory for the Raikage to follow procedure as it was for any shinobi. Tomo respected that. He looked over the ID and gave a bow. "You're clear Raikage-sama." Upon hearing that the girl was with Saito, Tomo nodded and jogged back to his post. He would have nightmares tonight, that's for sure. If fate was kind, he would be spared another encounter with the demon child. However, experience had proven that fate happened to hate this particular Mochizuki.
