Takeshi was finally on his way through the trees of the forest that he had come to know. The leaf lands back under his foot and a huge smile on his face. He had changed much since he had headed to Sand but also a year had passed. He wondered what joy he would find when he came home, if Yuki was still doing well all of this waited to greet him when he arrived at the gates. He allowed himself to smile as he thought about getting food or even having a conversation with Umashi that went well. He allowed his hands to come together at that second, deciding to bring his friend with him to the gates.
He allowed himself to summon the contract he had for years now, the two of them had been travelling with each other for so long. In a heartbeat a huge turtle was beside him, the cannons on its back and the huge body was a familiar site as it turned its head towards Takeshi the two of them engaging in a few words of conversation before making it to the gates.
“We are finally home Takeshi? I can’t wait to see Yuki, she gives the best hugs.”
“LL Cool War, you have gotten stronger and bigger, I wonder if she will recognise you for a matter of fact.”
“She will, and I will get food from her, she makes the best!”
