Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

"Uhm... I don't know if magic counts as chakra... maybe?"<i></i> Tsubaki waited patiently, but anxiously. Even though she had learned all of these wondrous things in her year at the village, she still was amazed by what she hear and saw. "Next room over. Two people with ... uh ... a unique signature. Must be them!"<i></i> A wide grin slammed Tsubaki across the face as Suri's excitement rebounded off of her. Following Suri's lead, Tsubaki carefully made her way alongside her teammate towards the source of these 'signatures'. The girl did hesitate a moment, catching the nearly falling vase with the corner of her eye just as Suri caught it. The fact taht she appeared to be bringing it along evoked a curious brow raise from Tsubaki, but they made they way onward without further words.

As they passed into the room with the captives, Tsubaki's attention immediately was drawn to the unconscious pair. At first she presumed they must have simpyl been hunched over, but as she silently stepped her way over, she found they they actually were rather small and stocky. They certainly did not look young, judging from the creases on the male's face and the size of the female's chest, but it did catch Tsubaki off guard for a brief moment. As she found her mind wandering, Suri rushed over and began sticking her hand into the cage in what appeared to be an attempt to wake them up. "Hey Tsubaki. Got any tricks to wake people up?" <i></i> Her first through was water, but they were in the middle of the desert and merely the thought of wasting water on this might poot most reasonable sunanins into shock.

She took a look around the room, her ears listening to the combat that raged outside. They had to hurry, and even if they did get the pair awake, they had to get the cages open and quick. A mental command would pop into Suri's mind, "find the keys, I will wake them up." She would look over towards the girl to make sure she understood before Tsubaki would step over towards the pair in the cage. Now she had to figure out a way to actually wake them up. She closed her eyes as the sounds of battle continue, it was then that it hit her. And she quickly opened her eyes and began to form a quick set of practiced handseals. Clasping them together with a soft slap of palms, she focused on the pair to create a resounding gonging sound in their heads. With a little luck, it should work as the world's greatest alarm clock, if they weren't under the effects of some sort of toxin.

Riyota had barely realized what had happened until his weapon embedded itself into a door. He slowly let go and shakily got to his feet, trying not to put too much weight on his injured leg. He turned to the giant and smirked mischievously "Technically I'm the one that hit those, so I win." he laughed, almost certain the the giant would dispute his claim. He limped over to the charred tatters which were what remained of his jacket. He slowly lowered himself onto his rear and sat, looking over the scorched bits of material. "Damn, that was my favourite jacket, and coincidentally...my only jacket." he tried to force a smile at his small joke but failed, he was genuinely saddened by the loss of the clothing.

He quickly pushed the thoughts out of his mind for now and shakily got to his feet, he wasn't too happy about his scarred arms being on display for all too see, but he didn't have time to worry about it now. He shouted "Huojin, I need to borrow your hammer." if the giant complied, the boy would activate his Gaia seal and amplify his strength to the point that lifting the hammer would be no hard task, he would then proceed to hurl it through the wall of the bandit's lair and make an entrance. If the giant refused however, Riyota would simply search for an alternative entry.

Suri had quietly left the room leaving Tsubaki to her own devices in an attempt to wake up Dae and Night. Tsubaki would hear the found of the vase shattered and the grunt of a man hitting the floor. If that wasn't enough she could hear the rattling of keys as Suri apparently had found the person with the keys and had taken him or her out through ... means of the vase. The red head returned with a bright look on her face. The child shook the keys at Tsubaki. "Looky looky."<i></i> She said as she worked her way over to the twins.

Luckily for Tsubaki her technique worked. The twins opened their eyes. Dae looked at Night, and Night looked at Dae. The twins then blinked and looked at Tsubaki and Suri. "Sand?"<i></i> spoke up Night, Date spoke next "Nin?"<i></i> The other would inquire. "Well. The ringing that went off was certainly not sorcery."<i></i> One spoke, the other followed up "So therefore you must be sand nin."<i></i>

Houjin heard Riyota call out to him. The Giant let out a sound of sorts that sounded laugh. He took several steps back and then began to run. He launched himself into the air bringing the Foe Hammer with him. The giant landed, but he went through the floor. "Houjin meant to do that. Houjin also disagrees about the whole you smote more foes than he did. Was team effort." The giant spoke as he called out from the hole he had made. As Riyota had requested the hammer was provided. The weapon went flying upwards and was caught by the lad who smashed his way through. Riyota would make his way into the base, and would shortly be joined by Houjin who would upper cut the floor and join them.

The two would eventually run into Suri, Tsubaki and the twins. The foreigners seemed delighted to see each other. The giant got on his knees and allowed the dwarves to run up his shoulders and sit there. They hugs the sides of Houjin's face. "Houjin is safe!" They would exclaim. The giant would motion to the three students and would beat his chest to signify that they had helped him. He naturally left out the part about them having to remove all the blades stuck in him. Ironically the twin sorcerors would begin to pull the arrows that were stuck in his flesh. Deja-vu? Sort of. Except only this time it was arrows and not daggers and swords being pulled out. Without so much as a hint or word, Riyota, Suri, and Tsubaki would all be picked up and plunked onto Houjin's shoulder once more. Save for Riyota who was hanging off of the giant's neck. Much like before the giant would take a few steps back and would launch himself out of the fort.

Perhaps much to the delight of students the structure would crumble. Perhaps it was due to the sheer weight of the launch of perhaps the building was already truly rickety and this was the one battle to put it to rest.

The party would land and find awaiting them two figures. The first was Mako. The second was a taller man who was garbed in feathers. Mako was smoking three cigarettes at once. She was shaking her head. "Yes. No. ... ... No they're fine. I swear. I ... ... ... no. What? What do you mean don't do that? That's the oldest trick in the book. ... .... ... You gotta be kidding me. Fine. ... ... ... Yes. Bye. ... ... Yes they're alive and well. I'm looking at them right now. Alright. Bye."<i></i> The feathered man handed the veteran a bag, and took from her lips the three cigarettes. Mako gave him a vicious look. "Assholes."<i></i> She would mutter under her breath. The Veteran looked at the three students. "Alright. So. You're all alive... for the most part. Maybe a little bloody, but hey what's a little blood loss. Typically I fail my students at face value, and I tend to get them angry enough to prove their worth. Fortunately for you ... or maybe unfortunately ... that was the Kazekage on the line telling me not to do that. Which saves some much needed drama."<i></i> Mako snorted as she handed one headband to Suri, then to Tsubaki, and then to Riyota.

"Houjin would smite Mako if she did that." Houjin grunted. "Even if she is playing mean. These children are indeed most worthy. I expect much good to come from them. Yes?" He would ask each of them as he took them off of his shoulders.

As the giant landed back in front of the veteran Riyota would let go of his neck and drop down to the ground, the boy's wounds would mostly have healed by this point thanks to the Solar Seal. Riyota gratefully accepted the headband that was forcefully placed in his hands by the old woman and speak up, not loudly, but not a whisper either. "Honestly, I didn't think I'd make it this far. I'm just glad we're all alive." Riyota would then look up to the giant and grin. "One of these days Houjin, we're gonna have to have a fight." he laughed, gently punching the giant in the leg. He looked towards the two girls who had accompanied him the entire mission, the boy smiled and said "If I'm ever in another life or death situation, I'd be happy to have you two with me." he would grin again, and then turn away from the group. If there were no more words to be said, Riyota would say his farewells and depart.
