The walking beanstalks rampaged on in the dead of night. They shadowed over all the stars, which was a shame, since there was not a single cloud in sight. The moon was either not really there, or was covered by the beanstalks too. It was that heavily infested that it was going to be a problem in the morning unless it was taken care of. Nobody knows how the beanstalks arrived, nor how they have grown. The only clue that linked the culprit to the beanstalks was what appeared to be a bag of multi colored beans. What matters now though is that the problem is dealt with accordingly, and the council have sent the one and only Minako to do the job. Initially, Minako didn’t want to do the job, she didn’t think it was right because she was sometimes very loud, even if she works with stealth. At the same time though, this is probably what would be to their advantage, considering the stealth thing. Nonetheless, it was Minako’s job to dispose of them all, they didn’t mention cleaning it up, so she assumed that was given to someone else.
Getting ready for the long night, Minako got herself into stealth and braced for the unknown, equipping her katana who was known as Rapunzel to the Fujiwara family. It was time for her job to begin. Her plan was to cut them all down to size, then use her ninjutsu to assist her if it got too much for her. She was still worried about the noise, but she was sure she could pull it off now.
Spotting her first victim, she gave it no mercy as she began she use her taijutsu moves and started to dispatch them one after another rather quickly. It was clear that Minako was outnumbered, but she thinks she could manage as long as she defeats them all in the morning. She didn’t want them to be killed by violent plant creatures.
Going down one by one, Minako started to get more tired, her arms and hands were beginning to hurt, that was when she began to falter. One of the plants managed to spot her and used one of their arms to throw her against one of the walls of the houses. Landing on her butt, Minako covered her mouth in attempt to stop herself from showing any signs of pain. Getting up, she decided to play more seriously and sheathed Rapunzel, only for her to bring out Titania and Oberon. She could probably focus more using her beloved butterfly swords, and for plenty of reason.
Getting herself ready, she dashed into the scene once more, being careful to not slip over the liquid and the mess that the leftovers given out. She had to do this for the sake of the Seki District. She moved around and continued dispatching as many as possible. She was halted when one of the beanstalks managed to pick her and throw her away again, but she got back up with little to no time left, she still had some fight left in her. Even if she was in a lot of pain, it wasn’t any different from when that assailant got themselves into the arena to battle her, Ikko and Eishi.
It may have taken some time, but it was finally noticeable that a ton of the monstrous crops have gone kaput, but there was still some remaining. Minako knew she had to also make sure that it was all done by sunrise, which it almost was. It was starting to get more tiring, and she just wanted to go home. She knew if she done that, then she would have failed the mission altogether, which is something she didn’t really want to happen either. Nonetheless, Minako didn’t give up, because this was a job.
Looking around, she placed Titania and Oberon away before commencing some handseals and then exhaling what seemed to be a dangerous ash-grey cloud. Minako then commenced more handseals and then detonated the ash cloud completely, detonating the remaining plants and unleashing a severe rain of plantation all over the Seki District. The fact that it wasn’t as loud as it should be shocked her. In fact, the detonation sounded like a little pop and not raging flames, maybe the sound from the plants disguised the noise due to the amount there was.
Minako bit her lower lip as she took a look to all the savagery she performed and she merely shook her head, she didn’t expect the ending result to be like this… she really did hope that the cleaner was a legitimate thing, even if she did merely think about it. She wasn’t sure what to do now, maybe she should turn the job in, and let them know that the place needed cleaned. It was almost sunrise, and the people will be out and about soon.
