It was a calm and quiet morning in the middle of the Wind Country's vast and sprawling desert. The sun had just peeked over the horizon and the heat was slowly baking off the cold that seeped through the village and threatened to free unwary inhabitants overnight. With her mother, father and little brother off in the underground village and her younger sister out training at the academy, it fell to Tsubaki to tend to the shop during their absence. It was not the most exciting of times, and it was rare to have a customer come in, let alone at such an early hour, but it gave her time to water plants, trim leaves and simply relax her mind after the jarring events that had put her into the hospital not a month ago.
The shop was rather close to the heart of the surface village, stationed in what was turning into a rather well off neighborhood, though not enough to be considered snobbish or elite quite yet. The interior of the store looked quite modern compared to the majority of the buildings underground. IT seems the village officials were making extensive effort to make the surface presence of the village as attractive as they could. Though the fact that they brought in a clan for the sole purpose of beautifying the area was likely proof enough of that. The layout resembled a storefront, spacious and sleek, though many of the surfaces were bare. Those that were not continued a wide variety of beautiful flowers, their scents mixing and filling the air conditioned room in stark contrast to the harsh exterior. Vases both empty and full stood atop some shelves and on the floor, making it quite apparent that the shop was not yet intended to host customers. The family was quite busy fulfilling their contract with the village to spend much time with their personal business after all. It was there that Tsubaki stood, tending to a trio of flowers off in the corner of the room with a small pair of trimming scissors and a keen eye for botanical health.
