Shortly after returning to his office, from a long morning at the village's academy, Kazan found himself sitting at his desk wondering about the current state of the main branch. For a few seconds, he began to wonder about all the new changes in the village, and in his personal life, lately. And then, his new assistant entered into his office and handed him a letter from Abyss. Reading it, he wondered exactly what was going on. Abyss knew someone interested in him, and was trying to set up a blind date. At first thought, he placed the letter down on his desk and decided to ignore it.
"This is odd." He thought, as he got to work reviewing some of the paperwork on his desk.
As time passed, the thought of a night out in the village started to sounds nice. It wasn't something he usually did, especially since the village was to complicated for his likes. Still, this was his home now; he needed the experience. Even then, the idea of a blind date didn't seem to bad at all.
"I hope this isn't a joke, or a trick." He thought, realizing he had more faith in Abyss than that. Picking the paper back up, he read the note again and hesitated making a decision.
"A night club? Uhhh...." He thought, as his mind shifted towards what that meant if he were to go. Every piece of clothing he owned was either meant to be worn with armor, while farming, or while out camping throughout the countryside. He didn't really own anything that would be more akin to the type of dress code a place like this would probably have.
"Guess I'm going shopping." He told himself, out loud.
A couple hours later, he found himself walking through the village's shopping district, entering one store after another, until he found a place that had something that caught his eye. Trying the clothes on, and liking how they fit, he purchased the outfit and headed home to groom himself. First he showered, then trimmed his beard, cut his nails, washed his face, and got dressed. Wearing a black V-neck T-shirt, a black leather jacket, and black denim pants, he looked-at himself and felt odd.
"Feels weird not having any gear on..." He thought, before instinctively grabbing his belt from his gear, his waist scarf, and a single katana he attached at his waist. From there, he went ahead and grabbed a pair of his basic combat gloves and slipped them on.
"Feels a little more normal." He said, as he got prepared to head out.
With the note in hand, Kazan began trying to find club listed in Abyss's letter. He was early, though that was just out of instinct; a new environment, and he wanted to make sure he wasn't walking into some sort of trap. Scoping out the street, by walking past the place on purpose and finding a place to eat before turning back around, he headed for the front doors of the club By now, the sun had set and people had flooded the street. Just a few minutes earlier, there seemed to be some type of commotion, but he had paid it no mind. People weren't screaming or freaking out, so there was no need for him to get involved.
As he approached the front foors of the club, the bouncers stopped him at first, but after an explanation and an introduction, they let him in. He entered the main doors, walked into a small corridor, and through a secondary door. He hesitated, but as soon as he made it into the club's main room, the sound of the music immediately hit him. The scene was something he had never imagined finding himself involved in. There were dozens of people already here, music blasting, people dancing, and the mood of the place seemed 'exciting'. This place was a far from the parties he was use to; his normal was a large campfire, with several caravans surrounding it, and his clansmen partying while playing instruments and drinking. He came from simple people, who were easily entertained and who had no need for either technology, let alone places like this.
Even still, he could appreciate this type of event. As he scanned the arena, he noticed something strange amongst the crowd. There was a woman, dressed in all black, struggling to cross what seemed like the dance floor. At first, it was her height that caught his attention; she towered over everyone here, including him. At first he didn't recognize her, but as he looked at her from across the bar the thought of that night he ended up at the village's cemetery with Abyss came to mind.
"Wait, what?" He questioned, as he began to walk cross the club and head towards the bar. Slipping through the crowds of people, and trying his best to avoid the large group dancing, he eventually found himself looking at that woman speak to the bartender. He couldn't hear what she was saying, but he still tried to be vigilant about his surroundings.
As of this moment, he hadn't put two and two together, and he was still curious as to who he was supposed to meet. Then again, as he looked at the woman who was even taller than him, his eyes began to shift towards her curves, before a smiled slipped across his face for the briefest of moments. Trying not to look like a sleaze bag, he shifted his attention to the 'other' sights within the club. Most of the people here were wearing flashy clothes, and appeared to be well groomed as well. Some of the women were wearing some revealing dresses as well. One was them was even wearing a sparkling purple dress, but when he looked at her the only thought that crossed his mind was "She's too skinny", before refocusing on the taller woman once again.
It was at that moment that he realized why he had thought about that night in the cemetery. There were reports of a giant woman, or something, and when he arrived Abyss was already there speaking to this woman. It was apparently the former Medical Sennin, and then Kazan remembered what he was more focused on that night.
"No way." He thought, as he began to approach the bar.
