Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Yuna took a deep breath... And stilled her mind... She's given it a lot of thought. For the longest time she has stayed away from the Chigokai clan. Why? Why when she herself is a Chigokai? She figured that the world that she lives is wholly separate from the world that the Chigokai clan. Along with that, she figured that given her own history, and the history of her father, makes it difficult to work with the clan.

See, it all started with her own father. Chigokai Ziren. He had lost everything and was taken by a caravan out of Lightning Country. After a series of unlucky events, he finally made it to the Village hidden in the Leaves, where he lived half of his life and found love for a woman there, her mother. They had kids, Yuna and her twin brother Moji. But with rising conflicts with a foreign nation, Ziren had sent his family to Cloud where he eventually reunited with them. As years went by, Yuna had lived in Cloud and became a ninja. In the records, she is just a normal ninja, but in the anbu records, she was an anbu. As years went by, she had climbed up to the Sennin rank and learned about the death of her father.

It took years for her to get herself together as she focused more on her work than herself. But now that the Anbu branch is functioning the way that it should, under her supervision, her own thoughts went back to her own difficult to understand past. And what her own father had gone through. How lonely it felt. And how her father's words echoed to her. Try to make the world a better place. She had done her own research on the Chigokai clan and for the longest time it has been ran stagnant with the only notable leader of it was someone by the name of Osuteno. But they were long gone now and the current leader of the Chigokai clan seems to have shown little to no interest to grow the clan or truly watch over the growth of its members.

She knows that if she is successful with this, though, she can't move her family in, though they do like the quiet days, much less than the loudness that comes with an estate full clan. Today was like any other ordinary day, snow lightly falling and sticking to any surface, indicating how cold it is outside. Yuna wore her usual non anbu outfit to add a scarf and a coat as she would walk to the Chigokai estate. The estate was big in of itself, two stories tall, was made in a giant U shape and had large pine trees on either side. There were some smaller buildings behind the main building but were more or less obscured from her by the main building.

She knocked on the door politely and waited for someone to answer. Someone finally did, a boy, in his mid teen years with red hair and the trademark red orb like eyes looked up at Yuna. He was no doubt coming to understand that he was face to face with a Chigokai that wasn't part of the clan. He was no doubt listening to her own blood flow as she listened to his. "Yes?" He asked her.

"I would like to speak with the clan leader, Chigokai Ookami." Yuna would say.

The boy looked up at her in surprise before he said, "One moment..." He would close the door and after a few seconds, Yuna would hear muffled talking and after a while the door opened once more. "Follow me."

Yuna would follow the boy into what looked like a study with a woman who looked only slightly older than Yuna, probably thirty if she were to guess. The woman was pale with black hair and wore a black kimono.

"So..." She drank from a cup of tea, "You must be the outsider Chigokai that I've heard about." There was no malice in her voice, nor contempt as she said the word 'outsider', more like it was a fact. "I am Chigokai Ookami. What is it that you want?"

Yuna would bow to the older woman and then straighten up, "I am here to relieve you of your duties and become the head of the Chigokai clan. And for that, I request a duel to prove my worth."

The silence that followed was deafening. That would be said for anyone who wasn't Yuna. She felt the familiar disturbance in her own blood, the powers of a Chigokai in action. Ookami studied her for a minute, not saying anything. Eventually, she walked to the doorway and said, "Follow me to the courtyard. We will duel, but only blood type attacks are allowed, nothing else."

When they walked into the courtyard, Yuna took a quick second to look around. The courtyard was big enough for a sparring match, slightly smaller than a fighting arena, which she guessed that those in the clan like to fight. There was a fountain in the center standing to be about three meters tall. The rest of the ground was more flat earth soil than grass.

Ookami turned to face Yuna, a rapier made of blood came out of her hand as she clutched it. Yuna followed suit, forcing her own blood out of her own hand just by willing it as it formed into her sword, Crimson. They faced each other, waiting for the other to move, listening to the other's blood flow for any indication. Yuna was the first to act, she formed handseals and unleashed a barrage of blood shuriken. Ookami reacted well enough and parried most of the attacks with the exception of two that whizzed past her but also had cut the arm sleeves of her kimono, leaving small cuts and blood slowly coming out. Ookami would rush in with her blood rapier and unleash her own frenzied attacks. Yuna herself would dodge out of the way of most attacks and parry one but had taken a slice at her shoulder. Pain flared up but Yuna ignored it. She had faced worst than this.

But Yuna wasn't done yet, she would form more handseals and let loose five sharks made of coagulated blood as they would collectively rush at Ookami. The older Chigokai would pierce one with her rapier, dodge out of the way of two others, and be hit with the last two. Blood soaked her in an explosion but she stood tall, almost unbothered by such an attack. "Interesting. To think that there are outsider Chigokai who are experienced." She commented. She then looked more closely at Yuna, "Your eyes. They aren't even fully red, the mark of a fully grown Chigokai."

Yuna nodded, "Chigokai grow by rigorous training or by experiencing traumatic events. Not like the Uchiha, whom are more gifted than us. Nevertheless, don't let it fool you. I have felled many people without being recognized by my own bloodline as a fully grown Chigokai." With that, she would jump in the air and strike down with her sword with incredible speed and power, leaving Ookami very little time to even react.

It was the first real hit that connected, sword through the older Chigokai's right shoulder. Pulling the sword out, Yuna would say, "You can stop right now. There is no need for useless bloodshed. You are a good warrior and it would be a waste to throw your life away"

Ookami would wince in pain and steady her own breath, she would then look up at Yuna and say, "Our blood is strong..." She would form handseals and a dragon made out of blood would form around her, it was ready to strike. "It is our motto to signify the strength of the Chigokai."

Chakra filled Yuna's hand. It would turn into a giant ball of blood with the base of the power being non-elemental changing into blood. "Then hear me out. My name is Chigokai Yuna and I will lead the Clan to a better future." She would rush the blood dragon with her blood perfected rasengan and smash it into the other jutsu. After a little bit of a fight, she pushed through the dragon, completely destroying the jutsu and using the rest of the rasengan strength to hit Ookami.

After the explosion leaving a mist of blood, Ookami was on the ground, alive but in no condition to keep fighting. Yuna would walk over to her and perform some medical jutsus. Her father would be glad of her to be like this. After a while, she helped Ookami up.

"I admit it. You're pretty good." She would say.

Yuna nodded, "I had the best teacher that I could ever ask for." She would look up at the sky. Thanks dad... Because of you, you helped me learn more about being a Chigokai. Soon after, there would be a clan meeting and in that meeting, it would be announced that Yuna would be the new Clan head. There were mutterings if that would even be allowed, as it completely goes against the old traditions of the Chigokai clan. But some were there to witness the power of Chigokai Yuna and there was no mistake that she was powerful.
