Port Cirrus. Akechi found himself in Port Cirrus after his long journey. Hungry, tired and maybe even a bit under the weather, the young man made his way into parts unknown with people that were foreign to him. He had hitched a ride on a random merchant's ship, sailing off into the wind to some unknown location away from the village that he had betrayed. Honestly, Akechi knew what he was getting himself into as he escaped. He had to make alliances with unsavory characters just to stay alive long enough to exact his revenge... to avenge his people and save his friend. So when this "businessman" sought out a bodyguard to protect his smuggled goods from pirates and maybe even border patrol, Akechi accepted the man's proposal. Survival was his goal. That was all he needed to do for the time being. Survival by any means necessary.
"Job's done. Here's the money I promised ya. Any chance you'll be looking for more look mister. I may have some jobs for ya." The man spoke, shaking hands with Akechi and handing him a small bag filled to the brim with yen. ”If the price is right.” Akechi spoke, warping away from the man and climbing the tallest building located in Port Cirrus. Honestly, he would probably seek out the man before leaving the Lightning Country. He seemed to be rather generous with his payments, which meant that he was probably smuggling something illegal and worth a lot of money to someone. It was simply the way the world worked...
Hell... maybe Akechi would figure out exactly what was so worth protecting...
”I should find some place to lay my head for awhile. Someplace a bit more low key than a Port city.” Then again...
”Maybe I need to gather a bit more information about this country. Rumor has it that there is a shinobi village located here. That will be the perfect place to start...”
