Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Chapter 8: Second EdenAct 1.99: First Steps into Megiddo

Anywhere the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me.

Having accepted her life as a drifter, Nanami is now in a tiny, yet surprisingly quick and maneuverable vessel. The winds were just right, blowing the 4 people towards Lightning Country, their current destination. As the boat hit aground, sliding into the soft sand of Lightning Country's western coast, Nanami stood up as the vessel came to a halt. With excitement, the woman jumped off of the boat letting both of her feet slam into the sand, causing impressions slightly larger than her feet to be left in the coarse material. The cold water of the tides pushed against her legs, causing goosebumps to form upon her exposed flesh.

Her original destination was Lightning Country, however, she was hindered by Kibo's stubbornness and unwillingness to approach the border. After performing a quick check of her equipment, she turned and looked towards the Isaki clansmen plus one that decided to tag along just before entry. "We made it!" she said, now with dried clothing thanks to strong winds caused by the boat's movement forward. ~We made it to Megiddo~ she said silently to herself as she turned her back to them, eyeballing the large mountains ahead of her. Her demeanor quickly changed as she didn't bring anything warm to wear. The mountain tops sure do look cold.

Turning to look at the armored one that defies the law of gravity, she puts her hands upon her hips and tilted her head to the side for a brief moment. "So, why've we come to Megiddo?" She doesn't name countries or villages by their actual names, but by what she generally calls them based on her beliefs.

Osore considered the ride quite odd, mostly because he was in a tiny boat with two women he didn't know and one of whom he thought was insane. In all it made for the type of journey that was spoken of around campfires as the storm blew them off course into the land of treasures and myths, where the gods still roamed the lands and needed a champion. At the end it was found that through the power of friendship these four would come together to unite the chalice of something or another and save the world.

What really happened was Osore got a cramp in his leg from having to huddle so tight to one side to avoid knocking someone out of the damn thing. And now he was dragging it ashore so it wouldn't go washing off and leaving the woman stranded, but he was damned if he'd be doing that one again. Instead he gives a final pull, bringing it past the tide line, and immediately turns and begins walking for the village of Cloud.

Naikishin rode the boat as the time passed slowly, returning to the place he had left not too long ago, sighing a bit. Both him and Ko sat silently in the boat until the boat had arrived at their destination of Lightning Country and until Osore pulled the boat onto the shore, they wouldn't really move much. Though as soon as Osore moved to get to their destination, he had ignored what Nanami had said. "I don't know, and I'm sure he won't say much even to me, so I'm just going with him really, since there's not much for me to do at the time being." He said, as he stretched a bit before starting to follow Osore.

As Naikishin started to follow his cousin, Ko would stand up and stretch before looking at Nanami and tilting her head, slightly. "What is this Megiddo you speak of? Unless that's what you're calling Kumogakure..." She said, shrugging slightly before looking at the woman once more. "I wouldn't worry though, just try not to do anything to piss off either of them, from what I know anyway." She said, with a smirk and heading off after the two that had started to leave without the two women.

Chapter 8: Second EdenAct 1.99: First Steps into Megiddo

"Hey! Seriously? Not going to answer?" Nanami asked as she threw her hands out to her side before turning to look towards Naikishin. The woman heard the words spoken by Naikishin and slouched her shoulders with a low toned groan. However, after Naikishin spoke, Ko chirped in, causing her to straighten her posture and look the woman evenly.

"Megiddo? That's what I was taught to call this country. There are other names for other countries as well," Nanami stated before a warning was sent her way. The corner of her lip tugged a bit as the warning was issued to not anger them.

"Yes, I'll keep that in mind," she said as the two of them took off after the large behemoth of a man.

"Strange company, I suppose," she said with a shrug before following behind all of them.
