Akumi Noticed Baba was a little distracted, just for a moment though. But soon after she spoke he hoped back to reality. She wouldn't question what he was thinking about, it probably wasn't something she would be able to understand easily anyway, well who knows.
Akumi had a curious look about his answer, it seemed he lost some people on the mission. One thing she liked about him, is she didn't have to act like she cared about losing someone on a mission. Only people she cared about was her brother, one Uchiha, and Tango. There were a few people that peeked her interests, but none she could really call her friends.
"Oh that's too bad." She stated simply with a smile, she wondered if he enjoyed his trip, with the way he chuckled, it sure sounded like it.
"As long as you came back safely, I am happy." Akumi commented, she could care less about some no names. She probably did not know these doctors anyway. After what he has been through, she understood why they
didn't return. She knew in the back of her head that it probably wasn't an accident either. For his sake, she wouldn't say a thing or ask about it in such a public place. Who knows, maybe an ANBU was spying on them after all this village loved hunting down anyone that had a bit of darkness inside them. Luckily for her, she has done a great job hiding her dark secret, her book of scripters, and her study of Jashin. Her brother hasn't confronted her about it, maybe he doesn't know and she is doing a great job at hiding it, or he knows and is hoping she'll choose the
"right path".
As the food was set down, Akumi grinned at Baba.
"Thanks, Tango, You know exactly what I wanted." She said with an excited comment. She understood why he didn't order a drink for her, she didn't exactly have a favorite, nor did she ever order the same drink twice in a row. Sometimes she just didn't want a drink. But today was special, her best friend was back in town, so she wanted to celebrate.
"It's fine, let's have some wine" She stated, she liked wine for its high class, taste, and the art form in which it's made. It takes years to get a great tasting wine. But she would not argue if Tango wanted to drink something else. She was no stranger to Alcohol, she liked drinking on special occasions, despite herself being a year too young. She looked old enough at least, the last few years she had matured. She was still on the short side, unfortunately, but went she sat down, it didn't make much of a difference.
As Tango asked about her brother, Akumi, looked away,
"He's busy, as Usual. This village doesn't have enough man power, He is too busy baby sitting the Hokage." She stated in an unenthusiastic tone of voice. She loved her brother, he has been her parental figure for the last three years, and she was thankful that she was out of her old home. But this isn't what she had in mind when getting out.
"I haven't seen him for a while." She said, then she looked at Tango with a smile.
"On the bright side I get the entire clan house to myself almost all the time." She stated with a grin. For someone who had a darkness inside her, she was optimistic and cheerful. Maybe it was an act, or maybe she was just able to do both. Most people would just call that insanity.
