Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Sharingan Kuro and Mouko Kuro raced across the remains of Sunagakure as members of organized capture and control teams cornered and captured the criminals within their scope of reach as a large collection of criminals under a sleep genjutsu from Chouryoku Kuro were placed in locked chambers beneath the 'Throne of Bone'. Meanwhile Sanryoukyogan Kuro kept up a careful set of wards, barriers, and medical chambers in case the usage of explosives was real. With a heavy heart and an iron will these two aspects of Kuro reached the devastated lift of the maw to scent that people were already trying to ascend it and free themselves. It was time for action focusing his will through his aspects they both manipulated the gravity around them to become a boon and with a quick look of assurance began to easily and quite literally run up the walls of the maw just like Kuro had done with his inverted gravity training back in the dojo with weighted equipment. They ran full tilt up the walls only stopping to assess those whom were already climbing the walls. Sharingan Kuro did a quick assessment and found that Shiori's chakra was actually hard to look it which was an odd feeling. Uri was there as well along with an academy student whom seemed oddly familiar. "I am going to the surface to open Sunagakure back up to reinforcements and end the threat of the Cabal, after meeting various agents of the Cabal I have come to the conclusion that they are not here to die and that the explosives threat is a ruse. I am going to open the maw, make emergency repairs to the lift and evacuate all noncombat capable citizens to the Toraono Dojo. This Cabal threat ends NOW...<i></i> With a quick nod to Shiori after viewing that Surutameni was okay Sharingan Kuro waited for any replies while Mouko Kuro continued his ascent. Uncomfortable with the thought of a student caught up in the obvious battle ahead Moukyo, Kuro's demonbeast tiger companion leapt over to Surutameni to offer himself as a suitable steed back down to a safer portion of the maw should he wish not to continue any farther up. With a swift series of movements Mouko Kuro continued running towards the top while Sharingan Kuro assessed the status of the personnel already attempting their own exit.

"You're fine... Uh-- there? There?"

The woman before the black haired boy obviously has never had any experience with comforting children, as her stammered attempt did little to actually help the boy get over his fears of death. Instead it only made them worse, as the words were no comfort without the hug or pat he was used to recieving.

Surutameni kept his legs tightly held against his body even as Shiori and Uri discussed the details of their escape. He did not want to be here any longer, this was all over his head and he knew it. His mind raced as he tried to think of ways to get back down, all of ideas resulted in his demise. There was some sound coming from beneath them, and for all he knew it was The Cabal, having found them, coming to tear them all apart. His eyes grew wide in shock as a demonic tiger lept over the ledge, and landed upon their platform. For some reason the great cat looked in his general direction, seeming to wait for him to climb aboard if he decided.

The boy took next to no time in figuring out where he should be, and here definitely wasn't it. He climbed upon the creatures back and hugged it tightly, ready to descend back down to the city below.

"Can I go home now?" His eyes brimmed with held back tears of fear, and happiness at being able to return as an entire being, versus a billion pieces as he was sure to have come back as if he had proceeded forward and into the fray above.

Cabal Narrator:

Tick-Tock Went the Chattering Clock... Time had just run out for someone!

The tunnel rumbled. It rattled! Crevices and cracks broke between ancient bones and the earth poured out. One would have expected a clamorous BOOM! A resonating crash! A terrible tribulation of sound, but there was nothing more than a faint -pop- that preceded what appeared to be a dud. There was an explosive device hidden in the gullet of the beast, it was simply far from prying eyes. But it was not too deep.

There was a brief delay, perhaps long enough for one to think fate was on their side. A wave of heat and a tide of earth came crashing down from above. Kuro had reached the terminal point where none could cross and he dared play with the lives of his fellows! The tunnel collapsed under its own weight, the great calcified, petrified Maw of Barynx fell onto itself. Thousands of pounds of sand and stone came to fill in a gap left open far too long.

Kuro was wrong in one regard but right in another. The tunnel was armed with a live explosion, but it was just not connected to the rest of the village so their threat that the entire city would be destroyed the moment one tried to run away was nothing more than a calculated lie... Perhaps. There could be more, now ticking away on a timer. Uri was right, there was a way out intended for the Cabal because there was no way for them to know who would trespass onto forbidden territory and kill them all. The gate was still sealed tight, the entire lift and passageway immediately beyond were filled in. Uri, Kuro and Shiori were buried alive, Surutameni the only one who might have fled [assumed left topic, otherwise he would be buried also].

Dig your way out through the earth like a worm and try again! Brute force and dramatic gestures never fare well. Perhaps next time dear Shiori you will think twice, perhaps read a sign or try to stop a dashing madman from making the same error you nearly committed. Uri, I hope you brought enough candy to share. Young Surutameni, do not talk to strangers, Sunans are the barest brutes of this fine nation. Perhaps you should consider a career in botany in Northern Wind or a fisherman to the far east of our fine country. The life of the shinobi is a trait of the soon to be distant past and you should get out before it is too late!

Nobody is dead... yet. Dig yourselves out and find another way out. The front door is locked.

Mouko Kuro had miscalculated and he heard the click but did not think it was a real explosive he had believed that the Cabal was bluffing and he had called that bluff and been proven wrong. Hit with heat and fallen debris, the bestial side of Kuro actually remained calm as he went limp letting the main force of the blast pass through his body. Sharingan Kuro below with Shiori and Uri reacted as well launching himself at Shiori and grasping Uri telekinetically as his mangekyou sharingan came active. With timing only bodies soul linked or true Kagebunshin could have Mouko Kuro and Sharingan Kuro managed to time their combined chakra expansion as Sharingan Kuro wrapped everyone present within a protective kinetic and gravitic field that allowed him to literally bounce Uri and Shiori away if they did not escape his grasp in their own escape attempt while Mouko Kuro unleashed a savage pulse of gravitic energy pushing all the larger portions of stone and bone to the far edge even as he himself was buried alive their combined efforts would prevent the others from being buried. As all of Kuro's aspects prepared to channel their collective energies in case the whole of Sunagakure was about to pay for his mistake. Mouko Kuro lay trapped beneath an impressive amount of stone with a broken right arm to boot until Sanryokyougan Kuro summoned him to safety where a minor spiritual manifestation of Hyakujuuonouu completely healed and repaired Mouko Kuro while Sharingan Kuro grimly surveyed the damage done knowing that he had at least gotten the young boy out of harm's way. A few heavy stones and fractured bone were still in the way to partial freedom back in the village even with the maw sealed. Sharingan Kuro pulsed with energy as he began lifting and putting aside debris that was blocking the way back to the main village. His mistake weighed heavily on his collective mind but he had to push on. "I apologize for this abrupt disaster, is everyone else okay?"<i></i>

The kid escaped in the nick of time. [Departure granted]

There was little warning before someone rushed past them in a frenzied blur. Shiori pointed upward and looked at Uri mouthing
'hey, I was here first.' Apparently she had climbed about as high as she could go before she would have had to of been stopped. Something there sensed Kuro's presence, be it a trip wire or something that sensed the proximity of a chakra user. She heard the deep and dull *pop* beneath likely yards of bone, earth and stone. Her heart skipped a beat with that unexpected sound, Melon Candy [Uri] has warned her that the place was rigged to explode. She only partly believed him and fully intended to return here once his back was turned because she assumed his way out was also a lie. It was a good thing he stopped her, too bad the same could not be said for the Sennin.

The earth above them gave way, it was still a decent distance from their heads but it was coming down fast. Shiori screamed and drew her hands above her head as a wall of earth crashed into her. She was PUSHED aside by an unseen force. The platform made by Melon [Uri] gave way and Shiori plummeted hundreds of yards downward. She thought the same happened to Uri as well but a curtain of falling earth separated them for their descent. It was fortuitous that the platform broke her fall... somewhat. The unseen force had pushed her free of the rubble but she still hit the ground hard. She could feel her femur crack as she landed on the ground with both a thud and a snap.

Everyone was all right, or at least relatively it could be assumed. She did not remain for the formalities, the tunnel had collapsed but the rest of the village seemed intact. Was the threat only a partial truth?

Uri: assuming he is out from the rubble, if otherwise she would search for him.

Kuro: already posted that he was safe and fine besides a fractured arm but healthy enough to lift what was likely more than several tons in weight to free himself, was safe.

Surutameni: already left topic.

Shiori left in pursuit of another way out of the village, but she had other things to deal with.
