Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Byakko growled briefly his deep gutteral displeasure caused two tigers in humanoid form to appear, one had soft blue hair the other had soft orange hair. They sat before Kyuji and began the process of healing him. Kyuji aka Akujin had forgotten 3 key points. He was human, he had limits, he needed to learn more control, Byakko was impressed by Kyuji's pride but he was truly displeased at Akujin's lack of faith in his lineage and in Byakko. He had yet to search for him outside of Wind Country or even master his ancestral capacity. It seemed it was indeed time for a long overdue discussion... "You have seen the limits of your humanity this day. Kuro was very lenient with you and you still managed to injure yourself in a manner so graceful that even I have had to call in healers. I am certain you remember how your wife's eyes glow when she is truly focused on completing a task. You may also notice that Kuro's eyes change amongst each of his alternate forms. This is because eyes are the window to the soul and you have played with your eyes long enough. When you are ready to meditate after recovering from your wounds we will begin the ritual to awaken your legacy."<i></i>

Honestly, the demigod deserved the aftermath to his body that he received due to losing control of himself in the heat of the battle. There was no denying that, but he needed immediate medical attention or he was going to bleed out and be dying on these holy grounds with far too much to still accomplish before he died like trying to become the Kazekage or a branch Sennin like his older brother. Additionally, he would like to see his children graduate from the Academy, have successful shinobi careers, and eventually attend their weddings as an old man with the hopes that he would have grandchildren someday. But if he continued to play Russian Roulette with his body and mind, he wasn't going to make it much farther in his life aside from six feet under or cremated. In other words, he needed to get himself under control and quick especially with the amount of excessive damage he had merely sustained during a fight with his brother; imagine if he had gotten this injured during a true fight that meant life or death.

There was not much that he could do in his current state as he was bleeding out, but Lord Byakko's growl would summon two medics that could've been truly human or animals that could morph into ones. Regardless, it didn't matter as they had begun to work on him using advanced medical techniques that even he was unaware of if he had opened his eyes at this moment but he didn't. No, he decided to lay there for awhile to allow them to treat him and he lost all feeling in his body probably from an anesthetic being administered. They would be working diligently on his body as it could been deemed an artifact and the human form of Lord Byakko and fortunately they did subside the bleeding from the lost arm and internal organs. They even were nice enough to clean up his dried blood that sustained his face while he laid there practically motionless until he felt a slight shock from one of them that would prompt him to open his golden feline eyes.

The shock could've been to make sure he was alright since he had slipped in and out of consciousness laying there as they worked on him or it could've been because Lord Byakko wanted to speak to him as they continued working on him. Sadly, he knew he was going to get lectured when he awoke earlier and here it was finally. Lord Byakko however was being very calm about the situation but he definitely let his little descendant know that he needed to stop playing games with his eyes and that he wanted to awaken his legacy. The human among felines could only quietly emit the following: "I understand everything you said, my Lord. I agree with you that I need to stop playing games with my eyes and as soon as I can move my body again, I will gladly meditate to awaken my true power so long as you are willing help me."

Sadly, he wasn't lying when he said he couldn't move his body. After all, he did just unlock all his inner gates including the Gate of Death and his body felt like it was shattered into a million pieces, but fortunately the medic duo had stabilized him enough to keep him awake as they continued their procedures. The whole time, the descendant of Byakko was just staring up at the ceiling until one of them mentioned to the other to retrieve his arm so they could attempt to medically sew it back together with his body. When they mentioned that, his head slowly shifted to them both and he looked up at them with a smile. He then began to speak trying his hardest so Lord Byakko could hear him as well: "As much as I appreciate the thought, I don't want my arm sewed back on. You see, I was a foolish man for letting myself lose control in that fight with Kuro. This will be a reminder to myself of the consequences and troubles that I will cause if I continue to be reckless with my body. I am lucky that Kuro was my opponent and not an enemy shinobi or I would be dead right now....I guess what I am saying is I deserve this since I lost control. So please, you two and you Lord Byakko, respect my decision. This will be a simple reminder to myself daily the consequences for my actions."

He would slowly start to move since the rest of the medical procedures should have been completed if they were merely discussing replacing his arm. However attempting to move was proving to be problematic for him as he would try to and sadly fall back on his back numerous times. Eventually, he would be able to get himself into a seated position on the ground and try to get his legs into the meditation position that he was notorious for. Everything was proving quite difficult without his right arm however as he struggled to get himself into the position and had to shoo the two medics away since he didn't want their help. After all, he couldn't rely on them to help him the rest of his life so he had to learn how to handle it quickly by himself.

It would take a good amount of time to get into the proper position, but he would finally get into it sitting directly in front of Lord Byakko and say nervously: "After that embarrassing attempt of getting up and into position, I am ready, Lord Byakko. Let's begin." His feline eyes would then close as his one hand would go in front of his face as he began to meditate. Hopefully, he hadn't disappointed his lord with his gutsy move of denying his own arm and hopefully he could get into the right place mentally so his meditation would be successful. He most certainly would try his hardest.

As Kyuji requested his arm was not restored, Byakko smiled evilly at the depths of pride Kyuji possessed. It seemed he would need very few reminders on how to seek the power he had subconsciously locked away within him. He had literally hypnotized himself to believe his genjutsu was transmitted through his fists when in actuality it had always been his eyes. Just like his ancestor he was forced to bury his gifts inside of himself. Byakko readied an acupuncture chart to reverse the effects of deterioration upon Kyuji's body while his feline humanoid healers continued their work. After the scroll was opened a set of chakra laden gold and silver needles were placed before Kyuji for him to use to reverse the effects of his abuse of the gates on his body although he did damage himself enough to cause his self hypnosis to break and reawaken his eyes of the tiger.

|His Lord and the true God of the Byakko Clan would prepare an acupuncture set in front of him during his meditation session. It was probably the best choice to decide to meditate and to listen to his great lord's advice as his head was becoming clear from his loss in the fight earlier in the day and all of his troubles and worries were quickly faded. He would open his eyes after his session completely subsided and his breathing and heart rate had significantly dropped to a more acceptable range for a man of his age. His body also was healed to the point that mere medical shinobi could handle, but these tiger medics would continue to apply their chakra to his body as he looked at the chakra-laden gold and silver needles that had been rolled out by Lord Byakko on a scroll. It was obviously through plenty of medical training and knowledge that these needles were used for acupuncture and he nodded at his Lord as he knew exactly what the white furred, golden eyed tiger was asking for him to do.

These needles were going to be used to reverse the side effects from opening the inner gates of his body or at least try to. After all, these Byakko medics were some of the most skilled medics in the entire village and they had put Kyuji back together quite a lot since he had been carried in. His body might have overall still ached, but they had been able to heal his more severe injuries including his internal bleeding and broken bones. He would need to take it easy however for the next few days to allow his body to naturally heal. But first and foremost, he needed to perform this acupuncture session in front of his Lord to try to help the tiger healers healing methods.

And that is exactly what he did. He would grab the silver needles first slowly and insert them carefully into his skin targeting the secondary areas considering there were far more of these needles than the golden ones. In other words, he was assuming that he was suppose to put these needles not into the primary points for acupuncture. Of course, he would ask for assistance for the areas that he couldn't reach and would do the same when he was ready to put the golden needles into his body. To anyone that was an outsider to this medical phenomenon, it was probably very strange, but it was a part of the branch that was also not used quite often for some odd reasons. Maybe, just maybe, the descendant of Byakko would consider using it more often.

Regardless of the future of acupuncture in the branch, he would continue his session finishing with the silver needles and beginning the golden ones. These golden needles would be placed into the primary points for acupuncture and he started with his feet first and began to work his way up. He made sure to target each and every point that he had read before in his textbooks as carefully as he could. However when he finally reached the point in the head, his head would fall down and his eyes would shut momentarily as the needle went in and all the chakra-laden needles would begin to pour chakra into him healing his "fragile" body and trying to heal any remaining damage that had not been reached by the tiger medics. The whole time, Kyuji was conscious and could feel it all occurring as a smile appeared on his face as he wasn't struggle to move nor did he feel like he was blocked up anywhere anymore.

Eventually, he would reopen his eyes and they would appear quite different than they were when he had closed them from the needle. His eyes were now showing an unique pattern in each one of them and they were a beautiful, purple color with three tomoe. As his eyes adjusted, he believed he saw a holy light illuminating the room and his eyes began to water up at the majestic sight as he looked around the room to find Lord Byakko and announced quite loudly with much enthusiasm: "Lord Byakko! I can see everything clearly now and see my foolish behavior in believing my hands were truly something special. It was my eyes this whole time and this world is so beautiful with my new eyes. Thank you so much, Lord Byakko, for not giving up on me when I was in my blind fit of rage. I assure you that I will not allow foolish behavior like that to occur again."|

The nekojin medics continued their work on Kyuji while he used the sacred needles of silver and gold to release his self imposed limits via acupuncture. Kyuji aka Akujin awakened a new yet somewhat broken man, missing an arm as he released his true sight celestial flames appeared where his missing arm used to be granting him the ability to function as if he still had two fully functional arms temporarily. He was human yet he had exceeded his limits. He had now broken his self imposed limit and began to reassert some much needed control. He already had an iron will, he simply needed to temper his rage with it. Byakko smiled not in spite of but because yet again Kyuji's pride had shown itself to be the source of Akujin's lack of faith in his lineage and in Byakko. This would make the lessons he needed to learn far easier to accept ... " Excellent, much like your mastery of your body you have now released the holds you had placed upon your mind. Kuro was very lenient with you and you still managed to injure yourself in a manner so graceful that even I have had to call in healers. I am certain you remember how your wife's eyes glow when she is truly focused on completing a task. You may also notice that Kuro's eyes With this change within yourself you can now release the block upon your spirit and accept your true place as my chosen. Your eyes are the windows to your soul. Just as you sealed yourself from them as a child all you need do now is place yourself before a mirror and delve into your own soul and remove your ultimate enemy from within. This is the ritual to fully realize your legacy and master it once more as you have already awakened your true capacity."<i></i>

During this awakening of his true power, celestial flames had appeared where his right arm use to be filling in as his arm temporarily. The flames that were burning brightly and partially illuminating the room were being controlled by his Lord, but Kyuji would need to master control of this new gift from his Lord or learn how to live his life without them. He was grateful for the guidance and forgiveness that his powerful celestial beast lord gave him, but his pride was still much in-tact even after being "demolished" by his brother over a petty medical shinobi earlier in the day. He would have to remind himself to talk to his brother afterwards and apologize for his actions towards him. Right now however, Kyuji needed to focus on his leader's words as the great white tiger began to speak. The speech was merely a repetition more or less, but the tiger had offered a little challenge to the descendant by informing him to place himself in front of a mirror and remove his ultimate enemy from within; the ritual would hopefully awaken his legacy and allow him to master it once more.

This was pleasing to Kyuji, but there was a matter that needed to be addressed first before they proceeded forward with any kind of ritual. He had nearly killed himself in a mere friendly fight with his brother and had lost his arm due to his idiocy. These flames that Lord Byakko gifted him were only temporarily and his pride was getting the better of him the more than he sat there. He appreciated his lord's kindness, but it was time for a change and he needed to let his greatness know as well. Slowly, his eyes turned to where Lord Byakko was and he began to speak once more to his lord: "Lord Byakko, I believe it is time for a change in how I fight. In my blind fit of rage against Kuro, I injured myself beyond repair for a normal medical shinobi and I cannot risk doing that again. I am not asking you to train me per say, but my days of using my fists to fight my battles are long over as I am a broken shell of a man with my arm gone. I will train my mind and body in a new style of fighting that would be more fitting with my new vision acquired by your guidance. But for now, let's proceed with this 'challenge' of yours of removing my enemy from within. Bring forth the mirror!"

The confident and pride were shining through again and Lord Byakko should be pleased with this sign from his "child", but Kyuji did have to wonder if he had stepped over his boundaries with how stern he was. The most important thing that was left for them to do was to defeat his ultimate enemy within which he was making assumptions about, but did not have a definitive answer quite yet for. Was he going to even be able to defeat this enemy or would it overpower him? Find out on the next Episode of Byakko Blood.

ooc: That's fine considering the time needed - Continuing RP

Byakko nodded to Kyuji pleased with his need to invoke his pride in every decision. Pride might stifle his conscious thought process but it would always give him the strength to accept his mistakes, deny his faults and injuries and stand against all. That was all Lord Byakko could ask of any of his children and his followers. As he nodded to Kyuji a mirror descended from above where it had been concealed in a large light fixture. As the crystal laced mirror hovered above Kyuji he would find himself laying on his back looking up at the mirror able to see his entire body and all the wounds he had to bear upon his body mind and soul. Oddly enough, Kyuji found he could see his own back and his feet as well. It was as if he was able to see all sides of his body at any given time simply with enough concentration. Soft white linens were wrapped around his open wounds. Internal wounds glowed within his body as his eyes brought the chakra in alignment with the damage he had done to himself in the course of his previous battle. His mind bisected his wounds into layers as he dismantled his injuries in a way that only a true doctor could using Byakko's sacred mirror. Hidden within each injury was a portion of Kyuji's greatest enemy, himself as he used to be Akujin.

It appeared his great lord was pleased with his display of confidence and pride in himself; these traits were long overdue for the descendant of a celestial beast like Lord Byakko. His lord and savior would nod to him and a beautiful mirror appeared from above where it was concealed in a light fixture. As the mirror descended, Kyuji's body moved without him noticing and he would be lying on his bed looking up at the fixture.

After his eyes adjusted to the crystal-laced mirror, he could see himself in an entirely different light. His entire body was being shown to him with linens wrapped around his open wounds and his internal wounds glowing within his body. All of these wounds were sustained from his earlier fight with his brother and it made the descendant of Byakko frown in disapproval at the torment that he put on his body to try to win a simple spar with his brother and for what, pride? He also was trying to beat his brother to try to get a point across that he wasn't a weak, little kid like he was when he first joined this village and to try to knock some sense into Kuro for bringing someone back from the dead. But, he had failed in every aspect and had left his anger and pride get the better of him to the point where he had broken almost every bone in his body.

However, this mirror also was showing past injuries sustained while he was in the Hidden Stone and during his travels to his home country now. Obviously, they were not as noticeable in the mirror as his current injuries were since most of them healed or scarred his body up. But, they each showed a struggle for the dearest descendant throughout his life. Each injury, each wound, each scar, and each process of healing was flashing before his eyes as his wounds on his body began to all glow as he recounted each blow to him from his childhood up to now due to sparring, fighting others, and defending his new home country from ancient creatures.

His eyes were watering up at all the damage that he had sustained in his thirty-five or so years of living thus far. It was a surprise that he was still alive today after fighting Cabal supporters, protecting his family in the Mineshaft in Stone, and just trying to protect himself in Stone when he was so weak. He could recall when he was a mere medical shinobi in Stone how the villagers were harassing him and try to start conflicts with him because he chose to be a hermit like his parents and they hid in the "Abandoned" Mineshaft. That same "home" would bring his mother's unfortunate death when "children" were messing around in it after they knew it was dangerous. The structure would collapse partially and crush his mother beneath it; his father would grow sick and somewhat depressed after his mother's death and slowly died inside the Mineshaft as well. There was however some uplifting parts he recalled like when he fought that gentleman who wanted to take Lady Yanshi away from him and he confidently ended any thoughts of that by trapping him in an illusion and having him admit defeat. The man formerly known as Akujin and now as Byakko Kyuji had been through a lot in his life and it was all bringing him to this point in time where he was awaking his true powers. Thankfully, he had managed to survive to now and his Lord still had faith and confidence in him like a father had for their own son.

His memories would slowly reside as he looked up at the mirror again seeing his current state. His wounds were still glowing and his beautiful, purplish eyes would begin to glow much like his natural golden eyes did. The mirror reacted accordingly as his whole body glowed in a holy, white aura as he raised his temporary celestial flame hand and a kunai appeared. He would lift his head and use his natural left hand to grab his hair allowing the celestial hand to cut a portion of his hair off. This hair would fall to his sides and begin to burn in holy, white flames as his temporary hand died off as well leaving him in his natural state. As his hair burned on either side of him, the smoke would begin to elevate to the mirror and the mirror and his body reacted in sync with one another letting his wounds to naturally heal far quicker than they use to do. Within a few minutes, all of his wounds were gone and his scars that he sustained from other fights had vanished from his body.

However, there was another effect to the ritual and Kyuji had to do it for his own sake along with his family, friends and Lord's. The descendant would bit his thumb drawing blood to the surface before taking his thumb and drawing a symbol around his right shoulder. The symbol would be one that his Lord knew quite well in this ritual that he was performing as Kyuji would then allow his left hand to have a ball of fiery chakra surface before taking his hand and putting it where he had just placed the symbol. As the fire and blood met, the dearest descendant bit his lip as the pain was excruciating. This fire and blood would burn together leaving a mark that resembled something like a curse seal that he had seen on his cousin Akkuma before. The mark would have his head fall backwards and he would cough up blood as the mark did what it was tasked to do which was to seal away a large portion of his physical power that could only be retrieved by biting his thumb and letting the blood drip on the marking allowing it to awaken again.

This ritual would take only a mere few minutes, but would feel like an eternity for Kyuji as the burning would continue. When it was complete, he would look at the mirror above that showed the new Kyuji with no injuries, no scars, and still resembling the same physical physique that he had prior to the ritual. His physical powers sealed away allowing him to have a heighten sense to his Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. But, the powers only a few drops of blood away from being opened again. After seeing his new and improved self, he nodded and the mirror above would shatter as a symbolic way of saying Akujin was no more, it was now all Byakko Kyuji.

He would then close his eyes, smile and say the following with confidence and pride in his voice: "اكتمال الرب Byakko، طقوس طقوس العبور إلى جسدي جديد والعقل كما ترون.

[OOC:
1. Again, sorry for the wait!
2. Translation: Lord Byakko, the rite of passage ritual into my new body and mind is completed as you can see. I will use your gift for my eyes wisely and will not allow myself to lose control of my mind or body again. I will train hard to work with your perfect gift and I will never allow anyone to take them from me. Thank you very much for this honor and I hope my ritual has satisfied you and brought you confident and pride in me like it did for me. I am Kanemoto Akujin, no more. I am and always will be Byakko Kyuji and follow your guidence, my lord. Is there any more training or trials that you believe would be worthy of me to for-take in before you must go?
3. If you have anything else that you think would be good to do, let's do it! =)
4. I honestly think it might be best to do more before we end this thread so I can drop my kinjutsu and there are no issues with a lack of content or anything.]

The nekojin medics had left after the mirror of faith descended having completed their work on Kyuji during the acupuncture release where Kyuji used the sacred needles of silver and gold to release his self imposed limits via acupuncture. Kyuji aka Akujin awakened a new yet somewhat broken man, missing an arm. He was human yet he had exceeded his limits over and over again. Byakko looked upon Kyuji's missing arm and remembered Kyuji's pride as the mirror of faith had allowed Kyuji to restore his capacity and increased his faith in Byakko. What was necessary now was completely up to Akujin/Kyuji ... " I have given you all I can to open a path for you to overcome your own weaknesses. Now you must find a way to replace your arm. My medics have placed the remains of your original arm in a scroll of stasis so that you might find a way to restore it or improve it. There are many methods for those capable of ninpo. Choose wisely and find your own destiny. When you are ready you will know what to do. I will check on you through Kuro at a later time."<i></i> Byakko-sama disappeared in a surge of white flames and celestial chakra as his avatar returned to his true physical body in his ancestral home.

OOC: Whatever you feel necessary we will work on. Mayhaps you can call upon someone else to help you as well and continue your rehabilitation.

A nodding Kyuji understood that Lord Byakko's work here was done as the great white tiger disappeared in a beautiful surge of white flames leaving the nekojin medics and Kyuji alone. The right arm of the great warrior was in stasis in a scroll and one day, the the limb and his master may rejoin as one and serve a greater purpose to this world. But for now, it was time for the descendant of Lord Byakko to get to work training in his new and improved, ideal body that would hopefully not collapse so easily as the frail one that he had before. There was much to learn and study with his Eyes of the Tiger that he never would've had before and there was no time to waste with villainous scum still probably lurking in his village and definitely in the country.

So, what did Kyuji do? He nodded to any nekojin medics that were still there and thanked them for their service. He also asked them to take his sealed arm and place it in his office in his home so it would serve as a reminder of his struggles and evolution as a new man for his family, his branch, and his village. The man then bowed as he proceeded to leave these holy grounds and walk back to his home very gingerly as he was still adjusting to his new body. It was going to be an uphill battle to catch up to skill levels like the Kazekage, his brother, or even a lowly Genin who had been working their entire life in the art of Ninjutsu.

But, he was confident in himself and he knew that he could do it if he put his mind to it! After all, he survived in Stone when there was political unrest and he had seen his own parents die in his arms; if he couldn't work his metaphorical tail off, then he didn't deserve these new powers gifted to him from Byakko. However after that battle with his brother and all that transpired afterwards, it was time for a little catnap before he begun anything. He was still only a human after all.
