Number 7
Miyabe Amaya
By Land and By Sea I Depart
She followed the winding paths down treacherous mountainsides encased in snow and ice. These lands were as frigid to depart as they were to enter. She was quite chilled by the time she had made it to the valley, the guard who had taken her letter failed to return with warmer gear. When she had emerged from the washroom she simply drank her tea, perhaps putting far too much faith in strangers as she did. She waited for her clothes to be clean and dry, the warmth of the dried clothes would be only brief when she entered the gale. Thankful still that she had this respite from the cold, she left. Her peaceful mission was complete and the Chigokai was more giving than even he knew. Her body seemed to possess an eerie green glow every now and then.
The woman strode purposefully over rolling hills in more temperate climates and eventually found her way to Port Cirrus. The scent of fish and salt let her know she had not lost her way long before her arrival. It would seem that the woman had chosen a series of bitter cold places to travel to. She boarded a ship at this harbor destined for Kiri, her payment gold coin.
