Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

His teacher stood next to him, placing a calming hand on the young man's shoulder, "I have observed two things during this exercise... Number one, your chakra has a major affinity to the element of lightning, it flows through your entire chakra system like a battery."

He released his students shoulder, turning to the training puppets that littered the dojo. He gently waved his hand and they began to lift into the air, floating across the tatami mats and into their respective positions on the wall.

"And number two... You have zero capacity to utilise it through Ninjutsu... Like non whatsoever... Not even the littlest spark." He floated gently to the middle of the dojo, turning back to his disheartened student, "So we need to approach this from a different direction..."

The old teacher stood in a defensive stance, one hand forward in the direction of his student. "Try weaving your chakra through your Genjutsu, in the same way you have been weaving it into your Ninjutsu."

The student closed his eyes momentarily, concentrating his focus as he had been shown, willing his elemental affinity into the chakra being used to form his jutsu. He clicked his fingers, the small sound echoing in his masters ears. His Sensei shuddered as the genjutsu took hold over his old, well trained mind.

"Good..." The old man shuddered as he felt phantom tendrils of electricity pulse through his body. He felt his movements slowed as the electricity involuntarily caused his muscles to spasm. "Very good, I feel your affinity coming through strongly... Now increase your concentration and cut your chakra flow. Sever your ties to my mind and it will cause a backlash. This will cause physical pain to your opponent as their mind struggles to cope with reality being broken..."

He knew better than to question his teacher, it was simply easier to do as instructed to the best of his ability... He clicked his fingers again as he greatly increased his chakra focused on his Master, he visibly saw the old man shudder in pain. "Good! Now cut it!"

He cut his chakra in an instant, feeling the recoil pulse through his body. His teacher fell to his knees as blood trickled from his ears and nose. He raised his now bloodshot eyes to focus oh his student, "Very good... " he regained his footing as a light blue aura surrounded him. "Perhaps a clone for your next excersize..."

Training in the Catacombs

Hirato had fully recovered from the mental barrage he had suffered moments before. "Let us move to the dojo of the Tenth Djing... You next lesson begins when you enter... Be ready my boy..."

The two of them walked slowly through the tunnels, through the twists and turns between the cavernous rooms and junctions. Yong had never asked his elder if he had built the catacombs they lived in or had he just found them. They seemed purpose built to train a large number of shinobi at once but the halls were dusty, only the passages between Dojo's where clear from debris and detritus.

They made there way through the tunnels until they came to a vast, intricately calved door. Hirato indicated for the younger man to enter. He pushed the heavy doors slowly open, unseen hydraulics assisting the swing of the solid doors. He looked around the room, no larger than five or six meters square. The walls and ceiling were covered with long, thin steel needles making the interior resemble an inverted porcupine. The doors began to close behind him, clicking shut and completing the deadly chamber. A mechanical whirring emanated from a side wall before an four inch steel ball flew with startling speed towards his head...

His movements were fast though, his well trained body reacting almost before his mind could consciously process what was happening. The projectile skimming past his face, slamming into the spiked wall. His masters voice entered his head without bothering to go via his ears, "That was a warning shot, the next wont be so slow..."

The whirring began again, though at a higher pitch than before. Yong exhaled deeply, the projectiles began to fly, his body moving like wind moving through trees. His motions flowing from stance to stance. The steel balls began to litter the floor, making each step more and more precarious. Minutes passed that felt like hours but the whirring slowed and the assault stopped.

"Well done young Myakashi... Your mastery of the Lunar Dance accompanied with the Symphony of the Untouched is unparalleled..." A panel on the ceiling dropped to the ground, its needles piercing the steel balls as it perforated the ground, a shadow of his master dropped through the hole, landing with grace on the newly created platform. His masters voice came to his head again as the shadow locked eyes with the student. "One more time... Under distraction... Defend your life my apprentice."

The whirring began again, projectiles flying as before. Yong hesitated for a moment as the balls flew through the shadow clone. But he did not hesitate for long for he knew it could cost him his life, even in training. He began the dance again to avoid the projectiles whilst he analysed the clone... The clone was physical, he knew it would have a normal human anatomy, normal weaknesses and strengths other than the its apparent immunity to the projectiles. This was a test... Everything was a test.

The clone dashed forward, a spiral of dark chakra formed a Rasingan in its palm, thrusting towards his unprotected chest. The clone was fast but he was faster. A barrier of pure force materialised in front of him, blocking the lethal attack. The force slid him backwards across the ball littered floor, inching closer and closer to the spiked wall behind him. His chakra forced his body to stop, the spikes resting against his back armour. He slid to the side, ducking a followup strike and two careening projectiles in the one manoeuvre. Attacks coming from every direction, blows from the clone, balls from the mechanism and lingering ninjutsu ricocheted off the walls and his barriers. But he was untouched, his defence supreme.

The voice rang through his mind again, "Good... Now Attack!"

This was he part the liked, defence was good, attack was better!
