Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

</COLOR>Karito looked down at the Wanted poster that he had in his hands. The lean 6-foot plus man had a look of happiness and wonder as he looked down at his prey. Hopefully, this would be the start of him proving himself to be a worthy Hunter. He wanted to be an ANBU so bad- it would accelerate his rankings within the village by a lot. His first step towards that was this prey he took from the wanted pile. The man known as The Justicar was a man who believes he holds the rights to morality- he was judge, jury, and executioner. However, soon, he will find out what it truly means to be an executioner. The Reaper was coming into town.

Karito has traveled to the worst part of Sand for a singular purpose- he knew that the man Tenma had allegiances to this part of Sand. He grew up in these parts- and so, being a wanted criminal, would most likely be back into these parts. Karito's training had a serious aspect in hunting. His master, Masuta, wanted Karito to be the best shinobi, and being shinobi means to be an excellent tracker as well. However, this opponent uses Genjutsu instead of any regular hiding methods. Karito needed to use some sort of social engineering to find people who knew The Justicar.

When Karito went to the understreets, he knew the best place to find information was at a bar. As cliche as it is, it is also important to remember that bartenders here every conversation- at the right price, that information would be divulged. Nothing special to see there- it was business at best.

Karito sat down at the bar in front of him. Looked at the bartender, he signaled him over. Karito was wearing a shoddy overcoat, covering both his weapon and his fancier clothes underneath. From afar, he looked broke. This is what he had to do, at least. To get information. His mastery over some spacetime allowed him to manipulate some space around him, to make him blend better into the background.

"Bourbon on the rocks, please."

Bourbon was an expensive alcohol. Karito spoke under his breath so that only the bartender could hear, but the bartender was smart enough to know that this meant that the facade had money, and plenty of it. The bartender nodded, his face staying with the same expression as to not cause alarm. He made the drink, and gave it to Karito.

"What is it you need, son?
<COLOR color="#000080">"Just some information. Payment included with tip."

Karito slid the payment for the drink as well as a lot extra, hidden in the tip itself. There was a note as well, something that said "The Justicar".

The bartender looked at the note, nodded and put his elbows down on the bar top in front of Karito. He leaned in, and started spilling. The man did tip him enough to live generously, of course.

"He does live here. He comes in sometimes. He always travels alone, and is constantly trying to be shadowed. It's hard to see his face. That's all I got."

Karito nodded his head, thanking him. Karito left the bar. He knew that the man who fancied himself a judge was around here. He just needed a way to trap him, and get him. He wanted to prove himself an able ANBU candidate.

Karito started walking around, collecting information and generally figuring out a way to capture this man. He knew he was getting close- even though this lower area is vast, the man would have sparked some suspicion with the bartender getting enough money for a couple years salary. It was then that he realized he was being followed. Karito quickly darted into the closest side street. As soon as the people following him appeared hidden from view, he would use his Quicksilver Step to quickly transport behind them, breaking the necks of all but one of his followers.

"Where is he?"

Karito looked at the followers eyes, his own ghastly blue eyes searing straight through his soul. The man knew he was looking at his death in front of him, but he felt like he had to answer.

"He is always watching..."

Karito broke this mans neck before he could talk any further. Karito knew that he had to be close, this justicar. So, instead of searching for the man, he took off his nodachi and waited. Although this wasn't his most preferred position to be in, he knew that he had the advantage regardless- Karito felt he was incredibly strong.

The man appeared before him, his long chain in his hands. Karito took out his sword, and charged. This was a feint, but it seemed to be a hasty action. The Justicar disappeared before him. Karito smiled, figuring this was going to happen- using his abilities to set up jutsu, he was able to set up Gates of Enma(mastered) to be happening in the future. As soon as he felt his chakra drain, he knew it hit. He could see the man in front of him, caught by the gates.

"You seem to think you are worthy of some praise- you aren't. You are but a stepping stone on my mission."

Karito stepped forward, looking to slice the man's throat. However, as soon as that happened the Justicar smiled and disappeared again. This man was a master at visual genjutsu. How can Karito establish a stronghold on this man when he couldn't see him? All of a sudden, he felt something around his neck- the Justicar's chain. It was choking him. With one hand to his neck, the other reached for his sword. At that moment, Karito lurched his whole body forward, throwing the man on the hilt of the sword at his waist.

Karito felt the chain around his neck loosen up. He threw it off and turned around, slicing the tendons on the justicar's arms and legs. He would live, of course. But he would be incapacitated. Karito trapped him with his chakra seal, and tied his arms up. He picked him up, and carried The Justicar with him to the jail. It was time to collect his reward.
