Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Excitement coursed through her veins as her husband complimented her little shop idea. A little money on the side never really hurt anyone after all. She wanted to eventually teach him in the ways of art. Rozan had so much potential with his resources, just as she did, but Rozan seemed more versed in the ways of literature, language, and culture, but that was alright too. Cereza just simply wanted to show him the more creative and fun sides of life, and what better way to do that than by pure exposure to herself? Yep, she was going to corrupt her husband into painting little water color pictures of landscaping. Hey, maybe he'd even turn out like that Bob Ross guy on The Joy of Painting, as referenced by this author to break the fourth wall. So long as he was doing something than putting his nose in those musty old books, Cereza would be happy.

Suddenly a loud thud would be captured by her ear, processed through the inner workings, and then registered by the brain. This would all be in a matter of seconds, of course, as the brain is a marvelous piece of anatomy. She turned her head and looked down. She stared. And Stared. And Stared. Finally, completely disregaring anything Rozan would say, Cereza would slowly reach down. Ever so slowly as to not make any sudden movements, because really, you never know what dark magic you're gonna encounter. As she reached down, her hand wrapped itself around what she wanted and all would now see. Cereza poked the body with a stick. Once. Twice. The baby for good measure. And then the body again. Finally, her head would turn to the side. "Oh, I'm sorry, this isn't helping, is it? Right. Uh...me...hold the baby. 'Kay."

Cereza dropped the stick beside her and stood back up from her previous squatting position and took the baby into her arms, safely craddling it against her. Cereza was a natural mother figure anyway, but already having had a child made experience all the better. Still, who was this woman? And why was she in such bad shape? Yes, medical attention would be the best thing in this circumstance. Cereza would do her best to keep the baby happy and quiet as she watched Rozan explain that he was in no way inappropriately touching this beggar of a woman. Cereza's brows knit together and her eyes narrowed. "Rozan, that's all fine and dandy, but I don't care if you grope the living hell out of her in order to transport her to the hospital. Just do not drop her. She looks worse than Yun when she had a run in with that Hoshi person. She didn't even sleep with her and Yun looked disturbed out of her wits! Just get the woman there safely." Cereza gave a definite nod and held the baby closer to herself as Rozan hoisted this newcomer over his shoulder.

So, um, yes, where were the medical facilities? Being new to this place didn't exactly pose the best of knowledge as to where things were. Cereza didn't even go on the tour that Rozan was supposed to have been talking with her clone. Well then, best possible idea in this circumstance. Buuuut, Rozan beat her to it. Lovely. And no one answered. How, totally not shocking at all, though Cereza would just shake her head. It was times like this that her more serious side came out. "I don't very well know where this place is, but give her these for now." Cereza would reach into the pouch at her side and withdraw a few basic medicinal items, more specifically some soldier pills, and then hand them over to her husband. If Rozan could get them down her throat with the water he had on him, perhaps it could help her until more suitable treatment could be attained.

Finally, Cereza would nod towards the north and start moving. "Alright, if we're in the lower market districts, and the local place for residential housing, then perhaps if we moved further up we'll actually hit the more populated part of this village. Most central places of work and business take place in areas away from basic housing. If we head in that direction, we're bound to find it. That or someone who can either help up. Now let's go. I don't want to be responsible for this mother and her baby for too long." Most of this training and reasoning not only came from her actually quite bright level of intelligence, but also from her ANBU training. People don't realize how useful that really is. Oh well, if a job teaches you skills for general purpose, tactic, and implementation, whether good or bad, you use them. So, with that, Cereza would finish her directional orders and only hope that her husband would now be following her with woman in tow.

Cereza nodded and gave a smile. Still, they were medical doctors who were here to help, so with a bit of hesitation in her voice, she proceeded. "Thank you, Hanako, that would be lovely. Well, my concern is, I recently discovered that I'm host to an ancient powerful Queen, who believes herself to be a Goddess. I believe this situation is basically one that would be compared to a Jinchuriki, for lack of a better description. My husband is in the same situation. Would this cause any problems or side effects with the baby?" Cereza would pause amongst this, leaving time for Hanako to respond. This was something that had been bothering her for a while. Sarabi was evil, powerful, and unpredictable. Who knew what having her also, within Cereza, would do.

If that was all well and handled, she would proceed to her second question. "Are there any particular things that I should or shouldn't do to assure that everything goes well? I just want to do whatever I can to make sure everything goes as smoothly as it possibly can." That would basically be all the questions she had at the moment. Hopefully these things wouldn't be too much of an issue. If they were, well, Rozan and herself would cross that bridge when they got there.

Suddenly Kitsune would pop back in and Cereza would jump out of her skin. She would flail a bit and finally stop in a position with her knees bent, one hand cocked over her head with a flat palm outward and up, while the other was positioned diagnally across her body with her hand in a flat chopping position. She looked like she was ready to do some weird mock karate. "Gah! How does she do that?!? Seriously! The convenience!!!" Her body would relax and she would just scratch the back of her head with a goofy grin of embarrassment on her face. A slight chuckle would issue from her before she would listen to the now present doctor. Ah, so a room was prepped. Awesome! Cereza saw the doctor remove something from her eyes. Her irises were not sharingan. Well, that's interesting. Cereza tilted her head a bit. She'd never actually gotten to see someone with them in person before. She was so lost in perplexed fasination that she just barely caught that she would be having twins. Her head snapped up, almost like whiplash, as her eyes focused back on Kitsune's face. "T-T-T-Twins? As in two? Two babies? EHHH?"

She looked at Rozan, back at Kitsune, over to Hanako, back to Rozan, and then finally the floor. "Well then." Now, one would probably expect a total freak out. Cereza took a second to process the information, but once that passed she bounced on the tips of her toes and clapped excitedly. Woohoo! Twice the fun! Now I'm really excited! What about you, Rozan, dear?" Cereza hoped he hadn't fainted or something. She had completely forgot this was his first time going through something like this. Either way, Cereza was just ready to learn everything she could from this visit, so once ready, she would make her way to the room across the hall with the doctors and take a seat on the medical examination table, as they were going to proceed with the testing that would determing the other information.

Titles are a funny business, as Cereza was quickly learning. I guess it wasn't too much of a stretch to grasp, but they didn't really have any sort of formal rankings like that back in Kirigakure. There was some dramatized issue with a newcomer, but Cereza had been away when that happened and hadn't really followed up on any of that information. It just wasn't of importance to her. She was just a normal person, with no involvement in politics or leadership or anything really, not that she couldn't be capable, it just never crossed her mind. She did, however, own a shipping vessel, but only Rozan ever called her Captain Cereza. Ah well, reason enough for her to just nod her head when corrected, no reason to offend or feel awkward for a simple lack of knowledge. "Right, I see. My apologies again." Cereza was just happy that Kitsune was going to be the doctor on call should there be a problem. That eased some some of the stress on Cereza's mind.

Some other news caught her attention that she was sure Rozan would be happy about. He seemed very much interested in the ways of medical study, or at the very least, assisting her during the actual labor. She was pleased that he would get what he wanted. "That is very generous, I'm happy we have such wonderful doctors, let along to have met such nice people upon our arrival here." Cereza gave a warm smile to both Hanako and Kitsune. She was pretty much ready to leave, considering they still had so much to do and that they had learned the information they were originally seeking and more so. "Thank you again for such a wonderful visit and superb medical expertise. I look forward to seeing you again, whether it be a personal visit or a medical one. I hope you two enjoy the rest of your day." Cereza would then stand by the door, seeing if Rozan was finished as well, or if he had anything to follow up on. Both he and she had very good questions that were answered, which would most likely need to be discussed later between the two of them. It certainly gave them something to think about. So, when Rozan was ready, she would take her leave.

Today would be the mark of a special occasion as this was not the first, but the second time Cereza had set foot into a library. Books really just weren't her thing. Whether they were picture books, culture books, cooking books, novels, nothing really made her want to read them. Cereza was very smart, but she was smart from having lived and experience, not for having read about it. In fact, the last time she had read something, she found herself fighting for control of her body from some stupid self proclaimed ancient goddess and that was just plain ridiculous. So, if reading wasn't the highest up on her charts of tasks, why exactly had she stepped into Kumogakure's fantastic library? It was a simply thought really. Cereza had thought of her husband. He was a teacher, a culturalist, a linguist, a learner. He loved book knowledge, rather than experience. So, maybe while they were here, Cereza could do something nice for him.

The library was larger than expected, though she did seem to prefer Kiri's library over this one. At least she could watch the fish go by or the occasional shark gobble up a meal. It's always funny when they run into the glass. A slight chuckle left her as she made her way along the rows and rows of books. She had to be careful, as they had been visiting here for quite some time now. How long had it been? Four months? Well, indication enough could be seen from her large, swelled pregnant stomach. You could definitely tell she was having twins. She looked like she was either close to, or about to pop. Still, she waddled along her way, no one really stopping her. She wore casual attire, not one usually befitting a Shinobi. It consisted of a simply blue blouse, loose black trousers, and simple reading glasses. Cereza didn't much care for them, but they looked good and helped her read. Rozan still thought they were fakes.

Cereza grabbed one or two books at random from the bookshelves, and sat down at a table, well, as best she could. Sitting at all these days was a challenge in itself. She felt two kicks to emphasize the point. Giving another quiet laugh, she rubbed her stomach to sooth her unborn children. "Yes, Mommy knows you two are ready to see her and Daddy. Just a little longer." Without anymore delays, she opened one of the books, that she thought was a book on pediatrics. It seemed like a subject that would come in handy for taking care of the two babies. Alas, as she opened one of the books, she became absolutely confused. "I...I can't read any of this. I know I can read! I specifically remember reading Rozan that embarassing story in the newspaper about his arm falling off in public, causing an old lady to keel over and hit a papaya stand. Why can't I read this!"

She stopped for a moment, completely having forgot this was not Kiri, and in fact, NOT their library. It was silly of her to assume she'd be able to understand everything here. Kiri had it's own language, so it's not unbelievable that Kumo would too. Cereza looked around the big library, wondering if she could get someone's attention to come assist her. Regardless, she would like someone to help her with this subject, and maybe help her understand some of this odd language so that she could read more than just the one book. She waved her hand around to gain someone's attention. "Excuse me, could someone assist me? I'm afraid I need some help reading this."
