Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

”Jutsu Expansion”
”Taking weak techniques and expanding the potential of the jutsu. Seems rather simple but I’m sure it is more about chakra control than the amount of chakra I need to push into these techniques,” Kazuma said to himself, reading over an ancient scroll from a tomb that he had looted. Being that starting with something large and unstable may have been problematic, the older Chuunin started with something rather basic. A clone…

For weeks, the man created clone after clone, gauging their strength as he fought them with simple sword techniques. ”You aren’t there yet!” The man screamed at his creations, slashing through water and mud on his way toward perfection. He slashed and slashed until finally… ”You caught it!” Kazuma laughed, his clone returning the same ridiculous laugh as it forced the sword backwards.

”Now I just need to apply this knowledge to every jutsu I know. Easy…”

”Called Shot”
”Clones don’t have feelings right?” Those were the thoughts that Kazuma spoke to himself as he practiced techniques on created shadows of himself. Recently, he had gotten his hands on some old med-nin books, which discussed something quite peculiar for a med-nin. ”Not about overpowering the opponent but stripping them of their power. Rob them of the power they seek to use on you, and pick them apart at your leisure.”

It was a lesson that sounded as if it had came from “her,” but it sounded like past med-nins were just about as vicious as everyone else. ”Strike the nose. The neck. The joints and the cartilage between them!” The man thought as the clones rushed him.

This story ended with broken necks, dislocated knees and an old-fashioned beatdown. Could’ve been worse. Could’ve been real people.

WC: 138; Called Shot GET!!!

”Quickdraw”
”Wild west?”

There was some show on the KBC network that had a story about goofy looking shinobi with goofy looking hats and boots that resembled stilts. It was all very odd to Kazuma, but he did learn something new from all of his boredom. Though these people were actors of some sort, they were “gods” of whipping out instruments of mass destruction. So much so that Kazuma felt inspired by it.

Staring at himself in his dojo mirror, he mimicked the ridiculous stance that they took before removing their weapon. Flicking his wrist outward, the man began to generate more torque as he drew his sword from his scabbard. ”I still look pretty silly. Need to figure out a way to get better.”

So he’d practice and practice, until he mastered the art of Iaido.

WC: 136; Quickdraw GET!

”Duelist”
The art of dueling is an age-old custom, extending back to when carbon-based life forms developed hands and feet to strike each other with. That was human nature, right? Kazuma had been dueling active in this custom since he was a child. It was who he was, but there was always the opportunity to improve his abilities.

Given his status as an ANBU trainee, he probably shouldn’t have been meandering about the alleyways but rules normally didn’t stop Kazuma. He needed to improve his abilities by any means necessary. Underground fight clubs were home to some of the more unorthodox fighters within a village.

Nothing like an unfair one on one fight. It’s ok… Kazuma liked fighting with his bare knuckles anyways.

WC: 123; Duelist GET!

”Jutsu Mastery”
Fighting required equal parts stamina and wisdom. Flashy tricks and devastating techniques were always a part of the game, but Kazuma always knew that using his head would always result in victory. Strategy and tactics could only take a person as far as their physical limits could take them. It was for this reason that Kazuma trained not only his mind and body, but also his jutsu techniques. He believed that he would have more chakra to spare if he perfected his jutsu, learning to utilize them to their fullest extent with minimal chakra.

After all, fighting those that exceeded your own abilities sometimes meant outlasting that opponent. The best weapon is always its wielder…

WC: 115; Jutsu Mastery GET!

”Initative”
Initiative… a wonder that they even consider this character trait an ability. Sure, some people could develop initiative with years of hard work but most just had to be born with it. Kazuma was simply born with it. He was a habitual self-starter, and that wasn’t always a good thing. Sometimes it was something as simple as rushing head first into dire situations without thinking. Other times it was more strategic, countering an opponent’s strength by striking first and throwing them off their gameplan.

After all, time didn’t stop for anyone so capturing a piece of that time for yourself was rather helpful in battle. It was something he’d learned from his time in “that place.”

WC: 116; Initiative GET!!

”Sixth Sense”
Everyone knew the five senses, but what most people didn’t realize was that there was another sense hidden within them. It was called “The Sixth Sense of Clairvoyance, the sense that alerted its user of malcontent. At least that was what Kazuma read in a book. It came natural to some folk. Acting off of pure intuition to get themselves out of impossible situations, like a “spider-sense” that tingled when danger was nearby.

It was why Kazuma had trained himself to utilize this unique sense. Mediation and finding a spiritual center that connected oneself to the environment around them seemed to be the key to unlocking said ability. Or something like that. It was what Kazuma read so it was a practice he focused on daily.

WC: 120; Sixth Sense GET!

”Clarity”
'Cause you are the piece of me I wish I didn't need
Chasing relentlessly, still fight and I don't know why

If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy?
If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity?

If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy?
If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity?’

Sometimes the lovely sound of a woman’s voice, singing a song for your pleasure, was all you needed to break a curse, wake you from a deep slumber or even a Genjutsu. A lesson learned from the woman that taught him what “love” was. One that he’d remember should he get caught in some Genjutsu!

WC: 114; Clarity SU--….. GET!!

”Healing Factor”
The amount of damage that Kazuma had sustained in his life would’ve deeply scarred another human being. Not Kazuma… at least not physically. For whatever reason, being tortured to fight and being deeply scarred for what could be the rest of his life did nothing but make the boy stronger. When he became a man, these scars became the source of his resolution. Kazuma felt unbreakable.

He wouldn’t break in the face of danger, and he wouldn’t run away from his destiny…

I guess the only problem was that he didn’t know what that destiny was. Oh well, no matter! Once he found that destiny… once he found the path that fate had placed in front of him…

Kazuma would not run.

WC: 122; Healing Factor GET!

”Hyperactive”
This is an ability? Can’t be serious, right? Restlessness, insomnia and the resulting hyperactivity were more products of environmental stimuli than anything. Perhaps, Kazuma’s use of his hyperactivity permitted this as an ability. Hyperactive since those times where he was forced to be, Kazuma had learned to restore spirit to his body… even when he barely had any stamina left.

Fighting a superior opponent was about outlasting that adversary, and Kazuma’s ability to keep fighting made him a tough target. Sure, there were the chakra attuned and the stalwart, but Kazuma was damn close to them. He was a fighting dreamer that dreamed of something he couldn’t reach.

WC: 108; Hyperactive GET!

”Summoner”
Creation jutsu are misnomers in the NC universe. People prefer to spam the same high damage jutsu and see if that works. In other words, it presented an interesting opportunity for Kazuma to get to know some rather interesting jutsu. Perhaps, not always the most useful jutsu, Kazuma believed that his savvy would allow him to use some of these techniques in new, interesting ways.

It was somewhat of a pet project, but one that took a great amount of time to master. Summoning two creatures at once tended to take a lot out of a person. Maybe he’d get to put it to good use.

WC: 106; Summoner GET!

”Unarmed Style”
I wish there was another reason to make note of this ability but there really isn’t. Kazuma has a habit of drowning his sorrows in “spirits,” finding solace at the end of a bottle just like everyone else that ran from their past. Occasionally, his drinking would cause him to act out and if someone got him riled up enough, he debuted his new style. Good ol’ drunken style. His body slithered through the air as water rippled through a lake, allowing the locomotion of another to force his body into action as if it were a current.

Perhaps, it was his study of water ninjutsu that had an effect on this particular fighting style…

Or maybe it was just drunken improvisation…

Rum makes creators out of his all.

WC: 130; Drunken Unarmed Style GET! (I know I can use all of ‘em lol)

Use of cards noted! But can you link them to your OCR for paper trails sake?

Weapons: I don't see any augments on your shelf. So if you would please shelve those and repost, I'd be happy to approve those too!

Happy hunting!

Sure thing.

OCR Paper-trail - Dec. 29th 2015

I placed the augments on my shelf so you should be able to see them now. I did notice that one of them is at the end of my list, while the others are below the kinjutsu items.

Also, my two free abilities for paper-trail reasons.
