Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Konoha, born from the proverbial ashes of the former Daimyo controlled village, "Leaf City", has many unique and powerful clans. Of the many, these are a list of the more historically powerful and influential among them. Make no mistake, the most powerful aspect of the many legendary clans of Konoha is the fact that if you mess with one then you mess with them all. Though many other great nations may boast in their own prowess, there simply are no people like those that call the Fire Country home.

Clan Format? said:
There is no true set format save for the following . . .

1) Grammar and spell check beforehand, please.
2) Choose and or make a banner that's 600 x 151 to go above your clan information.
3) When making headings and text choose colors that won't blind people and that aren't simply black and white (if at all necessary).
4) It's best to follow the direction of the clans posted in the approved clan page so as not to break our rather loose uniformity.
5) Just because a clan might use the same major BL's,CA's or Kinjutsu as their main clan trait does not mean that any other clan can't also have similar traits ( so long as it isn't blatant plagiarism or copying for the sake of having a clan). EG; there can be two main sharingan using clans. Nobody has a monopoly on the OOC site BL's, CA's and Kinjutsu.
6) Post your clan in the Leaf Administration area asking for approval.

Please and thanks and enjoy being a pivotal part of our village history!

Political Structure:

• Clan Head – The leader of the family, in charge of holding meetings, giving the clan orders. Meeting with other clan members, diplomatic meetings and giving the Clans will across to those at the meetings. Responsible for appointing successors. Responsibilities include: Meet with the Hokage, meeting with other clan leaders. Meet with foreign diplomats.

• Main Family Member – Directly linked to the Clan Head and they are the ones next in line to run the clan. Responsible for showing representing the clan at all times.

• Cousins – Charged with protecting the main family. Each is assigned to one specific person in the family to look after if it is required.

• Aunts – Head's of the offshoot families. They deal with the protection of the Clan Head's Wife and direct family as required and tasks that are assigned to them by the Clan Head's.

• Uncles - Head's of the offshoot families. They deal with the protection of the Clan Head's Wife and direct family as required and tasks that are assigned to them by the Clan Head's.

Admission: Anyone can be a branch Uchiha so long as they ICly have some form of relation to the Uchiha Clan members. This can be through marriage IC or through gaining the Uchiha BL. Once accepted into the clan, a member may choose to join one of the two branches:

Main Family – Directly attached to the Clan’s Head's family under him, a member can request from the clan head to be taken into the main family. This gives them the right to ascent to the clan head when the leader passes away. Requests may be denied as it is a strict code of honor, determination and of noble ascension. At the time of creation, it was decided between the surviving Uchiha to marry the head to another family to acquire skilled and strong shinobi to rebuild the clan with. Takeshi was selected as head to fulfill this role and as such the marriage between Uchiha and Haku was formed. As part of the contract between the Uchiha, the main branch is direct relatives of the remaining three full Uchiha, as such the lineage falls down to these. Selected by these three specifically he would be trained to take the lead of the Clan when a member dies. The other two act like advisers inside of the clan. The main branch is an elite selective process, diplomats to the Clan. They adventure and discuss trades, clan to clan matters and anything else directed by the head of the clan.

Minor Family – These families are given the duty of protection of the main family of the clan no matter the reason. If a fight comes, they are expected to give their lives to protect the main branch of the family. Minor family members can never ascend to the head of the clan under any circumstances.
Once a family member has been permitted into the family, they are then given the high-collared outfits seen by the Uchiha over the years in Leaf. This has the clan’s symbol proudly emblazoned on the back of it. Through the years this has changed to high-collared jackets as well.

Goals: The Uchiha clan’s goal is to continue to strive to prove themselves as the dominant Clan in the Village as well as their martial prowess when required.

Background: The Uchiha clan remained a part of Leaf throughout its time in the village aiding the village in wars, conflicts and striving to bring up ninjas to meet the expectation of them to protect the village. During these times, a Uchiha was not uncommon through any of the branches. It was a trade sign of strength in the Clan; that was until the war with another village happened. Though when war broke out on the front lines the Clan reacted quickly to rally around the village. This was the fatal floor in a proud lineage as they were soon to discover. Finding that during the intense fighting ninety-five percent of the Clan was killed in action including the head of the clan. At the time of dying few Uchiha knew the succession of the family lineage.

It was at this time, the fall of Leaf, that they found themselves scattered to the wind, the last Uchiha wearing the clan’s old colours, symbolizing the lineage would go missing wanting to protect the family and his new one he would find strength during this time. The Clan destroyed, what was left of it remained in the few that lived during these times. Banding what little remnants of the Clan remained, it was decided to break the tradition of pure blood lineage and attempt to rebuild the clan quickly and without the pure bloodline continuing. In a time of trouble, they wanted numbers to be raised and fast, with the scattered remaining Uchiha this pact was made.

Though being missing as a Clan they soon found their numbers gradually started to go downhill being hunted. As Leaf was being rebuilt, the remaining Uchiha vowed to come back to the village that they had protected in order to seek their own protection now. Returning back the man carrying the history of the Clan’s, families and the pact with the new Leaf would become the head, passing down the agreement to all those that followed in history. And so the Uchiha clan came back as it was promised to the Village.

First to fall into the gates and re-pledge their Clan’s dedication and devotion to the Village was Uchiha Takeshi, taking on the responsibilities of the head. His knowledge and acceptance of the new responsibility came from two more Uchiha that followed, both prepared to succeed when he fell. This was the time of rebuilding and as such, they began to work on their clan home. Struggling to get by and finding less than no respect for what they had used to be it was clear the clan needed to update and change with the times. With the assistance of Haku Yuki, one of the very few that offered her support to the Uchiha Clan, it was decided that with her influence inside her own Clan, the two would merge to combine resources and efforts. This was when the Uchiha Clan accepted Yuki as a marriage of arrangement to their head of the clan.

With the completion of the Uchiha Clan presence, it was now time to strike a bargain within Leaf itself. They met with the Hokage to discuss the arrangement that would be made. With their acceptance back into the village, they had to provide support and troops when the village was under attack. This was acceptable to the surviving Uchiha. As the bargain struck and the clan back into its new home, it began to expand, recruiting from any point the Uchiha bloodline had to change in these dire times and the lineage in question was already diluted this much was proven and so it would continue to be. With the Uchiha slowly growing back in strength it would be clear that they were here to support leaf in the foreseeable future. Ready to stand as one of the Clan’s that dedicated themselves to the protection of leaf.

Name: Isaki Clan
Motto: Together We Rise

Banner: Water Crown Brand

Political Structure:

• Clan Head – The leader of the clan, directs the clan and businesses, handles all meetings with people not within the clan or within it, represents the clan’s interests to the village. While his word is considered absolute, the council may try to overrule him. When this has happened before, violence swiftly followed.

• Council – A group of influential clan members, typically from the Main Clan or the Sub Clan. It is very rare for a distant relation to hold a seat on the Council. The Council numbers five members, and their job is to exert the Clan Head’s will on the rest of the clan. They are given a lot of freedom in how they do this, and have rarely tried to countermand a Head’s orders.

• Main Clan – Members of the main branch of the clan. These are the immediate family of the clan head. Siblings, parents, children, newphews/nieces, aunts/uncles and direct cousins are considered to be Main Clan. They are often more influential than the distant relations, and hold the vast majority of wealth and power within the clan.

• Sub Clan – Members of the Isaki clan who share the name, but are not immediately related to the head. The Sub Clan does not have the same level of wealth or power as the Main Clan, but they so vastly outnumber the Main Clan that they collectively can hold more. The Council is mainly made up of members from this branch.

• Distant Relations – Members of the Isaki clan who do not share the name. They are often of such distant relation that few of the Main Clan are aware they exist.

Admission: Must be related to the Clan Head in some way. This does not need to be an immediate relation to join the Sub Clan or Distant Relations. You may join any of the three branches of the clan, depending upon said relation. If you wish to be in the Main Clan or Sub Clan you will need to bear the Isaki surname unless the Head has given an exception for some reason. Usually this would be due to marrying into the clan.
  • Note:it is not required to have them, but many of the clan have the following BL/CAs
    • Ghost Walker
    • Exaulted
    • Benevolent
    • Tsuchimikado

Member List:

Isaki Hoshirei– Clan Head
Tonkon Maki [NPC]– Main Clan – Head’s Husband
Isaki Tenken [NPC] – Main Clan – Head’s Cousin
Isaki Osore [NPC] – Main Clan – Head’s Cousin
Isaki Naikishin - Main Clan - Maki's Cousin

Goals: The Isaki clan seeks, as always, to establish business across the world and increase profits and power.

Background:
1100 years past, Water Country was broiled in war. The three strongest houses in the land were locked in combat; the Isaki, the Kagyaku, and the Kachuu. They were fighting for dominance in the land, trade rights and the right to living space. The war was brutal, no side holding back against the other. Combat moved along the islands, the mountains, into the sea. The final battleground was within the caldera of an inactive volcano.

On the black shores of a lake in this caldera, the main force of all families collided. As the fighting spread into the islands across this lake, the armies began to be devastated by a new foe. A massive serpent rose from the waters and began wiping out the humans who had invaded its home. While the Kachuu and Kagyaku continued to fight, the leader of the Isaki stood in awe and commanded his men to fall to their knees and pray to this beast, for surely it must be sent by the gods.

It is up for debate if their prayers worked, or if they happened to be praying out of range of the beast. What is not up for debate is that the Isaki alone walked out of the battle with their forces mostly intact. Over the next few years they completely disbanded the other clans and took control of Water Country. They built a sprawling city in the lake, a center of trade and tourism.

The Isaki claimed their power came from Deep Ones who lived under the lake and gave them power and wealth. In the early centuries, worship of these Deep Ones was a mainstay of the clan and their wealth was attributed to this. As time wore on, however, religion became less and less important to the clan than keeping their standing as “old money”. The clan began to spread across the known world, opening businesses and starting ventures in various lands. They were insatiable, and deplorable. If lands could not be bought, they would be conquered. If the people would not work willingly, they would be press ganged.

Over time other clans arrived and contested their might or were assimilated. The Shoukyou became steadfast allies, and together the two helped set the country on the path to success. Centuries later, the Minamoto and Akumairo arrived and began pushing for their own power in the village. The Isaki were faced with a choice to either resist, and likely be wiped out by these new shinobi clans, or open the village up to the shinobi and begin training their own members at shinobi. They chose the latter, and Kirigakure was born.

The head of the Isaki clan moved after a time to Hoshikata, who moved the clan out of Mist and to Moon mere months before the village of Mist froze over. Many members of the Main Clan fell for his ruse of being a god and saw him as their savior. When he died, the clan was left by his order to his cousin, Isaki Tenken. Tenken proved to be a stronger willed man than most of the clan thought, and began order reform on how the clan operated, to pull it out of the muck of depravity and into something that people could be proud to belong to.

Tenken handed control over to Tonkon Maki after two decades of leadership. And with this, Maki ordered the clan to Konoha to help stimulate the economy of the recovering village after the Fire Civil War. Currently the Isaki clan is flourishing once more. Money is being made, which is all most of the Sub Clan cares about. The worship of Hoshikata is being driven down by the Main Clan now that the truths of his birth are being revealed to them. Maki has left most of the day to day clan business to Isaki Hoshirei after his retirement from active duty.

Motto:
Learn to embrace the storms of your life

Current Members:
Nanjirou Soku (Clan Head)
Santaru Nibachi (NPC)
Tsukada Sato
Santaru Miyuki (NPC)
Santaru Inaha (NPC)
Santaru Okoto (NPC)

History:
The Santaru Clan although originally hailing from the Cloud, some eventually found their way to Konoha through migration giving birth to the future generation of Santaru in the Hidden Leaf where eventually, a chapter of the Santaru was founded here in the Hidden Leaf. The Santaru clanspeople take great pride in their heritage and are naturally adept at controlling forces of nature through their excellent control of Lightning and Storm style techniques. The very first clanspeople to demonstrate such jutsu in a village where Lightning techniques are not commonly seen was a young genin kunoichi now the clan head. Now tasked with bringing about the rise of the Santaru in Leaf, she is assisted by none other than Nibachi, a elder shinobi who claims to have retired from his ninja ways and takes great pride like most clanspeople in his blood heritage. Eventually after realizing how little recgonition his people got in the Hidden Leaf, Nibachi met up with the only other Santaru at the time in the village who would be none other than Santaru Soku. After much debating and late night meetings, they agreed to estasblish a chapter of the Santaru in the Leaf. Although at first, the idea was met with heavy oppositon from the general people at the prospect of hosting a group of people who's roots trace back to another village, the duo eventually came to a resolution that satisified both parties. Upon much discussing, the Santaru swore under oath to cut off any ties they could possibily have with their clanmates in Cloud and to serve as a part of Leaf's military force serving in all aspects of the branch ranging from ANBU to medics to the Main Branch. The day they swore this oath would be known in history as "Thunder's Boom" and is not commonly talked about. Many questioned the wisdom of having such a young clan leader but the kunoichi has promised to lead her people in the right direction and as such, has advocated for the Santaru to be acknowledged as true shinobi of Leaf.

Goals:
The Santaru has one very simple goal that runs through the lifeblood of their people. That is to aid the village be it through financial , economic or military means. These group of clanspeople have a strong devotion to their village despite the fact some people may not support them due to the fact that their clan is a branch chapter of the Cloud-based clan. They aim to work in close cooperation with the village leadership and despite being shadowed by some of the more influential clans do their best to meet the needs of the Leaf.

How to join the clan?

Naturally, one must either be born into the clan or marry into it. All newcomers into the clan must be first approved by the clan head. In special circumstances, the clan head may choose to accept people he/she deems fit into the clan with a majority vote from the clan.

Location and Description:
Although small, the Santaru do have a small sprawling clan estate nestled next to some of the major clan houses such as the Uchiha for example. The Santaru grounds and grounds are enclosed by thick, stone walls capable of resisting siege weaponry and there are two wooden gates that swing open or shut with a mechanism. Members of the Levin Corps man the walls and key positions within the estate ensuring the grounds are well protected. The flag of the clan is embedded in the central plaza where there is a fountain acting as the hub point where all important declarations are made. The grounds hold an audience hall where all important clan affairs and meetings are held and also holds the clan leader's quarters. The barracks of the Levin Corps are nestled near the back out of sight with an armory close by so that the guards can arm themselves and respond to an threat within a matter of seconds. The prisons have been constructed out of a cave system underground and the only way to access it is through the fountain in the central plaza though only very few are aware of it as it is a closely-guarded secret by the clan elders and only the most seniormost and elite Levin Corps members are authorized access to it. A series of wooden houses attached to each other by stone walkways and bridges make up the clan's kitchens, each house focusing on one step of the cooking process starting at the butchering house and ending up at the food distribution house. Lastly, a small cemetery and garden is also accessible paying homage to Santaru shinobi who gave their life in servitiude to Konohagaure and it is also rumored that the chakra sealed vault containing the clan's fundings is located somewhere here but no one is too sure.

Political Structure:

Shokku

The clan head often nicknamed The Shokku is responsible for the daily activites of the clan. He/she must keep a vigilant focus and keep the clan running in a positive direction. One does not simply inherit this position. The Santaru are a democratic people so one must be elected to this rank. The clan leader is easily idendtifable by a dark blue robe or kimono with storm clouds on it. A clan head may be chosen from any of the ranks below

Kaminari
The blood relatives of the clan head are referred to as as the Kaminari. The Kaminari once coming of age automatically assume a position of responsbility to prove their worth as a leader and groom them for hurdles they may face later on life. These select people whether they be cousins, sisters or even parents make up the the Kaminari Council which votes and decides on all clan affairs and matters that require their attention. Some hold the Kaminari in some contempt given it is made up of familial members of the clan leader and as such, the life of a Kaminari Councilor is often a stressful and at times dangerous.

Chishiki
Commonly refered to as Chishiki, it is an honorable ceremonial rank held by the clan elders who serve in an advisory capacity to the clan leadership. While most of the elders do not actually participate or contribute to clan affairs or meetings preferring to simply sit back and enjoy the wonders of life, one would not dare cross someone granted the title of Chishiki. The elders know much and see all having been with the clan since it's roots and have now handed the reigns to the younger generations though their sacrifices are not forgotten by the upcoming leaders and are held in a degree of respect. However, the Chishiki can intervene if the clan is going in the wrong direction and sometimes, this may mean taking on a more forceful approach but nevertheless, they live relatively peaceful lives retired from their occupations but can make deadly enemies if needed.

Levin Corps
The shinobi force of the clan headed by a commander, the Levin Corps serves as the clan's police force acting as guards and serving as personal bodyguards for the clan leader and the Kaminari councilors. These warriors have been trained to a high degree of proficieny in the usage of Lightning-based jutsu and clan weaponry and are easily identifable by their brown trousers and black flak jackets. A member of the Levin Corps is easily identifable by their patch on their shoulder which consists of a purple lightning bolt split in two. Levin Corp's members face's are covered to conceal their identites and live in pre-assigned housing seperate from their families. The training regiment to join the Levin Corp's is not easy and a prospective member must pass Stage Ichi, Stage Ni, Stage San before concluding in a field test in Stage Shi. The Levin Corps compromise three units, the Kozui honor guard who seve as bodyguards for the Kaminari counilors and the clan leader. The second unit is the Jajji unit serving primarily as assassins and spies skilled in various intelligence-gathering techniques, stealth-based warfare and research to be a step ahead of their opponets. Finally, you have the the Nami garrison which make up the regular uniformed guards who man the walls and important locations.

Symbol:
A purple thunderbolt enclosed by a pink border nestled within a circular barrier of painted on blue bubbles , the purple representing order and stability while the bubbles appeal to the concepts of growth, expansion and prosperity.

Name: Sakurako

Motto: “Take it easy, take a sisi.”

Banner: 5 leaves pointing inwards with droplets on top displayed on a clouded fan.

Political Structure:
Sakura: The head of the clan.
Guardian: The right-hand side and the guardian of the Clan, this person is most likely always there and has a lot of administration tasks too, such as Advisor in gatherings, an accountant on the shopping, and list.

Elite: These are the highest ranks inside the branch, they are the ones that get a member under them to supervise till they have settled down.
Officer: They are the ones that look after everything and everyone, yet have a medium status inside the clan-house. They get more responsible work to do.
Member: Any new and fresh members, they are the lowest in the ranking system and have a lot of ‘chores’ in and around the clan-house.

Admission: There are a few ways to get inside this clan house, for example, one of them is owning the CA the head has, this either through being born with it or through chimera doesn't matter.
» Benovelance,
» Being a mentored student of Nao,
« Runaway,
« Orphan.

Members: (This isn't being kept up to date here; please go to the player profile to see an up-to-date list.)
SakuraGuardiansEliteOfficerMember
» Sazuki Nao» Free

»Toshi (Inactive)» Tsuki

Goals: To offer a home to those who do not have and a safe place yet.

Background:
Nao took over the grounds from his father, who is reaching an age where he cannot handle everything himself anymore, neither can his mom. Even though they are often around the place, keeping it clean and in working order. They don't own the place anymore. Everything that Nao gains from his Sennin payments, often goes towards the house or the savings for upgrades. He wants to continue on with the work that his parents did. Keeping people safe, even if this would mean just for a temporary time. In the past they had gotten a few runaways who didn't want to stay at home, but just as the village was big. These folks always knew the parents of the child. They would inform them just to let the parents know that the kid saved, without telling the child unless they asked. For those who didn't want to live at an orphanage, this clan made an offer too. Yet as Nao took over the place, he started to also make it function to those he would mentor. Giving them a place to stay and study in a more close watch if they wished.

The other part of the clan is often hidden away from the clan members, except those two are elites and higher. Nao knows regards the human trafficking that goes around in the world, still goes around. The number of bandits that roam the places. He tries to put a stop to that. In order to do that, he trades information with other places that try to stop it and offers a hidden protected place for those in protection witnesses. There are rumors going around that Nao would be into such a thing, yet no confirmations would have been made.

Other information:
How to enter:
Either request an IC-talk with Nao or state it in OCR / Character Creation. If you go through option 2 then you have to explain it then in 100 words why and how you got in the clan and which rank.
--
How does it look roughly:
The house upon the place is built like multiple houses. You have the main center house, with 3 smaller places around it. These smaller places are single living rooms. They are provided with a shared kitchen living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. It's small but manageable. You are responsible for the place, it is a break it, you buy it basically. These are often given to ranks higher than Academy students, as they need to learn to gain more responsibility. You do not pay rent though. These small places connect back towards the main house with a small garden in between. The garden has a water pool that has a few fish in them, don’t worry they are already used that people are standing inside and on top of the water too. They might just nibble. There are two big trees inside the garden and one of them is a sakura tree, the other a plain oak one.

The main house is of medium size and has multiple rooms in there. They are simple in design but often functional... It has a small library/workplace for everyone to study at, make their homework. The rooms in this house are simple of design, besides Nao's own little corner in the house. This corner is marked off by the different wooden floorboards. It is never forbidden to walk there, yet if there is a sign: do not disturb, you better not do it. There is a shared bathroom too.

Tour through the clan house

There was a bright smile upon the young doctor's face as he glanced over the clan house… “Finally, it is done… Now with the renovations completed, please let me guide you through the place.” He would take the other through the main entrance, which was relatively simple. The clan symbol was laid in the door with glass, which had a soft pink color to them on a white door.
Once you step inside, you can look throughout the whole living area, there is a staircase to your right, it is in a circular motion, which you can go down or upon. Each step had a rubber on them, to ensure the safety of the people walking up and down.

in the living room, there was a lowered seating area, just two simple steps where you would be greeted by a warm fireplace and a couch in an L shape, below your feet is a carpet and a small coffee table. There are seats near for those who do not find the comfort of the couch. And in between the couch and the chair is a basket that held two blankets.
As you look past this, you see a small door with the label toilet on, seeming this was a ground floor toilet.
Eying to the left, you can see a big wall of glass looking towards the outside garden, each panel of glass could be opened up so you could have inside and outside almost fully connected.

Further to the left, you can see the open kitchen, the large kitchen isle could easily function as a big dining table too, it has been quite luxurious, but there is a little storage possibility for an entire clan house to feed.

As you look further on, there is a closed wall with a single door. This held a label beside the door called; Nao. This is Nao’s bedroom. And inside the bedroom, you will find a double bed, a walk-in closet, and a separate bathroom for him alone. Also inside this room is a double desk and a book closet.

Navigating back to the living room, you walk towards the diagonal wall, something you most likely have never seen before. On the door is a sign of a few scrolls and books. Indicating this is a large study area. Once inside it is quiet, even the birds from outside cannot be heard. Upon closer inspection, you will find that the walls have been isolated against noises. There are multiple tables, two tables are meant for study alone, but there is also a bigger rounder table in the middle to study with multiple people. Everywhere you look are shelves for books, but not everything has been fully filled yet. Seeming this is something that Nao is still working on.
Each shelf is sectioned to make searching easier, almost like a real library yet than in a small version. In the back, you see a small room, which is used for storage of extra tables and chairs in case they are needed. There is even a whiteboard and an old chalkboard there in case Nao needs to give lessons.

Once you get outside the open study room you find yourself walking to the stairs, first going up to see what is there. Basements were always scary. Once you are upstairs, you see a little board on the wall indicating where you could find what. The clan house was big, but not this big right..?
The sign said;;
Basement;; storage, indoor training, electricals, Nao’s workspace.
Ground floor;; Main house, garden, outdoor training, singles.
Attic;; Children bedrooms, bathrooms, and shared open space.

You look behind you and you find a large open space, one side you find a couch, another one in an L-formation with a part lounge. On the other side, you find a pool table which can be covered up, a few bar chairs against the wall to be used once you close down the pool table for a regular. There is a small cabin in the corner, a few board games are held inside along with a few set of play cards. On each side, you could 3 doors, with on each side a bathroom. As you go through the little hallway, you first enter the door on your left; you see this is one of the children's bedrooms. The little sign beside the door is empty, so this is one of the empty rooms. As you step inside, you find yourself smelling still the fresh wood and the paint smells. This really is brand new.

The bed is lifted off the ground but tied against the wall, having little movement inside the room. Below the bed are storage boxes, 1 large one and 3 smaller ones to place in front. Against the feet part of the bed, you find a clothing closet, you can hand and place folded clothing inside and have 3 drawers for socks and the like. Against the wall is a large desk and in the corner semi bookshelves stacked above each other, saving as much space as possible this way. in the corner below the desk, you find a laundry bin.

As you get out and check the other rooms, you find that all of them are almost the same, some have just a little different layout, but overall it remains the same. Seeming that this is adjustable in colors as different colors are placed down. Each child could make this room really for themselves.

The bathrooms on the floor are indicated by the label in colors. Blue for the males and pink for the females. Inside you find them quite spacious and luxurious, there is a shower and a single standing bathtub. The sink is surrounded by a cabin, inside there placed a few things that are stored. Hand Soaps, hand towels, shampoo, and conditioners. Yet there seemed to be for all-around use, you better stick your name on something you wish to keep for yourself!

You have finished touring in the attic it seems and you make your way down the stairs again, going further below than the ground floor. You find yourself in the basement but unlike many of them. This one isn’t damp or dark. Nao has installed some UV lights to try to boost the natural sunlight as best as possible. There seem to be no windows, except to look inside the indoor training. Which was one-sided. this way you couldn’t get distracted from training.

on your right you could see a door with an electrical sign, seeming this was the main power box of the house. The door beside was a wide one, wider than any of them inside the house. This section was divided into two, one storage for various things and objects, such as Christmas decoration, Halloween, and the likes. While the other part was filled with food that could be used in cooking. Everything was sorted by date, first in and first out even. All the fresh things were labeled by the date of purchase.

outside the pantry, you could find the training to the right of you, a huge indoor training area that filled most of the equipment that Shinobi frequently were using.

Across the hall is a door with a lock on, faint; in the door scratched was the named Nao. This seemed to be an old place inside the house, but Nao doesn’t tell what is inside, neither can anyone disturb him once he is inside the place.

left of that door is the laundry. It has a dryer, a cleaner, a sink, and storage for cleaning equipment.

You go back up and look towards the garden, it seems to be a place you have yet to visit. You enter the garden through the open doors, and outside you hear the water flow. There is a small pond around the place, where there is a training aisle in the middle. Three bridges connect the aisle to the mainland and on the backside of the area, you can see 3 single houses. Matching the theme of the main house. Each single is the same as basic move-in… But those living here can easily adjust them to their own liking.

As you enter the building, directly on your left you have the basic cleaning equipment and the fuse box in one. Through the small hallway, you can enter on your right a small study, on your left the open living room with kitchen combined. Through the living room, you can get to the bathroom and the bedroom. It wasn’t as small as one would think, as you still had a basement to store things in through a trap door or design what you wanted below.

The garden itself is relatively plain, a patch of flowers here, a tree there… Nothing really stands out right now, except the small isle that is used for training which has a single tree to give a bit of shade. There are fish in there in case you ish to enjoy some fishing. Beware, if you go swimming, they do nibble.

There is one, but I forgot about it okay? There are 3 rooms, one medical room, one locked room, and a big pantry.

Goals:

The Goal of the Clan is not to cause destruction and suffering. In fact the Clan operation is actually the opposite, focused on earning the money via questionable means but then distributing it back out to those that are less fortunate. Not a problem with where the work comes from or who pays as long as payment is taken and the deal is done properly. The Clan main operations are done in the Shadows, with faces and names remaining out of sight until required. With the main focus on keeping up a high opinion of them publicly in order to get work from any Village without issue. Those inside of the Clan are protected by those that go above, with the Clan forming ranks when threatened. Trading in goods and missions there main focus is to create an unseen world where the wealthy pay the poor to do the dirty work. Nothing is unachievable for the Clan and to better relationships and create the Black Market that will sustain them they strive to keep themselves seen as a trading partner that is reliable.

Equipment:

When following out hidden missions, mercenary missions or anything else that would be considered worthy of hiding the identity of the Clan member they will be issued the Clan Robes, as well as a mask to conceal their identity from the public. This is done to purely protect the Clan’s reputation as the things in question are considered outlawed, and can bring punishment and repercussions for the Clan. The standard gear is pictured below but the Character may choose their own Mask to wear to hide their identity.

Background:

Starting off in Crater City, the Gekido started off working small operations for the criminal underbelly, as they carried out more and more successful jobs their influence grew so did their power. Their first steps into staking a claim on Crater City was the opening of their first gamibling den, with a base of operations and a clear presence in their own right, client’s eventually stopped using the current criminal organizations as middle men and started giving contracts directly to the Gekido. This sudden shift in power left a foul taste in the mouth of many key players in the black market running it the city leading to turf wars and an increase in violent hostilities not only among the Gekido and the main gangs but among many of the other criminal organisations. Using the chaos to their advantage the Gekido worked behind the scenes to displace the Clan that currently ran Crater City taking control of any of her operations until they were left with no choice but to bend the knee.

The Crater City conquered the Gekido turned their attention to Konohagakure, the Ninja VIllage Hidden in the Leaves, knowing that this would be on easy task the Clan sent in a number of agents to secure a small business in the more shady parts of the village, one suchs place was The Kuro Neko, a small shady bar in a back alley of Oak District. WIth their toe dipped in the waters of the economy of Konoha they then started to expand their operations, they started with the recruitment of street kids and orphans under the promise of a better life, while being kept out of the more serious criminal activities they worked as pickpockets and runners using the bar as the base of operations for fencing stolen goods.

Goals: To amass power and influence any way they can, prove their Taijutsu is supreme, and regain their former glory.

Background: Hailing from a penal colony located on a chain of five islands off the coast of Fire Country, the Gotō are a clan with a colorful past. Claiming common ancestry from the Hyūga, they have produced powerful shinobi and at one point in history may have even rivaled the wielders of the Byakugan for position and influence. However they were never considered 'nobility' like their white-eyed counterparts. According to history scrolls that are still passed down and studied to this day, they were once a clan of fearsome assassins trained in the art of murder with no qualms about using their skills for profit. This choice of work likely contributed to their competition with the Hyūga. A family of shadowy killers as opposed to the Leaf's virtuous Taijutsu prodigies. At some point in the distant past the clan in its entirety was banished to this chain of islands due to some dispute with the Hyūga, leading to some bad blood between the families. Taking the name 'Gotō' (五島, five island) as their surname in a show of defiance, the clan honed their skills in preparation for their return. They have long since come home to Konoha and on the outside reformed their ways... though some members of the clan still operate in the darker sectors of the Shinobi World. Still most clan members have strayed away from their role as assassins and for the most part they now function more like the average ninja clan. But they still remember.

Whether due to genetic mutation or some odd combination of recessive and dominant traits the famed Byakugan of the Hyūga never manifested for the Gotō or their descendants (at least not in recorded clan history), but through their bloodline they received a gift of equal strength. Rarer in occurrence maybe, but those in their clan's history lucky enough to awaken it have all gone on to become powerful shinobi in their own right. Inheriting any form of Dōjutsu is uncommon for members of the Gotō, and thus mostly their eyes are destined to forever stay darkened. However a few times every generation some members are favored enough to be born with gifted sight. In the current iteration of the clan only Gotō Hate the current Omo and Clan Head possesses their birthright, and before him it had been decades since any of the Gotō had even heard about someone within their ranks obtaining it. This Dōjutsu's visual prowess grants the user enhanced sight expanding their field of vision to near-360º and the range far beyond any normal person's. What many of the Gotō refer to as the 'Eyes of Heaven'. The Tengan.

The longstanding feud between the Gotō and the Hyūga has simmered in recent years, though some older members of both clans still remember that original schism and hold grudges to this very day.

Other Information:
How to join-
  • Ask or be taken in IC.
  • OCR / Character Creation -- if done this way make sure to mention in your Character History how you are a part of the clan and what rank you are.
Common traits-
  • Blood relatives of the clan are often born with dark hair, eyes, and skin.
  • Those born into the clan follow a common naming convention-- 2 syllables ending in a vowel. (Dai-ji, Ha-te, Se-to, Yu-e, A-sa, etc.)
  • Adoption and fostering of those unrelated by blood is a common occurrence within the Gotō.
  • Taijutsu is highly valued within the clan and Unarmed Taijutsu especially being their pride and joy. It is prioritized in training along with stealth and the art of assassination. Ninjutsu is next in the line of importance while Genjutsu is generally disregarded or outright looked down upon.
  • Members who are not proficient in hand-to-hand combat may attempt to make up for their deficiency in some way, like utilizing shurikenjutsu, bukijutsu, or nintaijutsu. It is unheard of for anyone to reach even the rank of Shinzō without some knack for Taijutsu.
  • Gotō are assassins by trade. This is a closely guarded secret not spoken of outside of the clan. While it is not required for a member to take contracts, it is strongly encouraged and those with any hope of rising through the ranks must do so. Any who violate this trust and reveal this information to outsiders are marked for death.
  • Only those with the Tengan (Custom Hyūga BL) can master their Cruel Hand style of Unarmed Taijutsu, though inferior variants or copies of it exist for those without Dōjutsu. (Medical Jutsu being used to disable an opponents' chakra pathway system, Quick Learner mimicking finer points of the style, etc.)
Tengan description- *The Tengan is mechanically exactly the same as the Byakugan but for RP purposes it differs slightly*
  • The Tengan unlike the Byakugan is fairly uncommon even amongst blood relatives of the clan.
  • The Tengan must be awakened rather than having it available from birth, this is caused by severe stress or heightened emotions once the shinobi's chakra system has developed enough. The age this happens at varies.
  • The Tengan is near-white golden in color as opposed to the lilac hue of the Byakugan, it also lacks the visible veins near the user's eyes except in times of heavy use or limited chakra.
  • The Taijutsu the Tengan allows access to are named differently than the Byakugan's, but function much the same way. Bloodline info below:
Gotō
XEVSLGp.png

An infamous clan originating in the Fire country, the Gotō are a fearsome bloodline of assassins that many whisper about behind closed doors. Claiming common ancestry from the Hyūga, their paths diverged long ago though their techniques remain similar and just as devastating. Utilizing their unique style of martial arts, the Cruel Hand, and their Dōjutsu, the Tengan they established themselves as a shinobi clan not to be trifled with. With brutal efficiency and unmatched lethality they use these gifts to paint the leaves red, making the Gotō clan one that consistently produces some of the fiercest martial artists from any land.

All techniques in this bloodline table require Tengan or Jūoku Tengan to be active

---

Tengan - Passive • (天眼, Heavenly Eye)
The coveted Dōjutsu of the Gotō clan commonly referred to as the "Eyes of Heaven". Unlike the Hyūga, the Gotō are born with dark eyes, but once the power of the Tengan has awakened within them, those same eyes light up with a golden radiance that grants them near-360 degree field of vision to all but a small blind spot behind them. Expanding their their field of vision in this way grants them awareness few ever know, and they also gain the capability of seeing chakra as a glowing light source. The downside is that the human brain was never meant to process this much information leading to sensory overload in the worst cases. Seeing everything can at times be too much, making all but the most masterful and mindful Gotō prone to eye pain, migraines, and mental strain. Aside from the bright glowing chakra signatures, finer details can easily be missed due to the immense flow of information.

Rank 1/2/3: The user gains +1/2/2 Accuracy/Dodge. Sneak Attacks against the user must make a special d20 roll. If the result of this roll is less than 6/6/8 + the user's Awareness modifiers, it is reduced to a non-sneak attack.

Cost: 0 AP, 2% Max CP/Rnd.

Notes:
  • Tengan costs no AP to activate (it only needs to be declared), but takes the timing of 1 AP to come into effect.
---

Chakra Point Knowledge - Passive • (点穴 知識, Tenketsu Chishiki)
The Tenketsu are small pressure points within a targets body which govern the flow of chakra. The Tengan grants the Gotō the capability of seeing chakra, and the Tenketsu themselves appear as glowing points, like stars in the sky, only visible to their all-seeing-eye. By precisely striking these minuscule points, the Gotō may damage the chakra system of a target, impairing their capability of lasting in a prolonged battle.

Rank 1 The user is able to target a special Called Shot area in the body; only Gotō with this passive may affect the Tenketsu. [Link to Called Shot Rules]
Rank 2: +5% Called Shot chance when targeting Tenketsu.
Rank 3: Inflicting a Called shot Rank of Tenketsu causes the target to immediately lose Chakra based on its rank (as if they had inflicted suppression at that rank).

Called Shot:
  • Tenketsu:
    • Targeted at -4 Accuracy
    • Sprained = The victim loses 1.5% Max CP for every 0.5 AP of Suppression inflicted on them.
    • Fractured = The victim loses 2% Max CP for every 0.5 AP of Suppression inflicted on them.
    • Broken = The victim loses 2.5% Max CP for every 0.5 AP of Suppression inflicted on them.
Notes:
  • Like any other Called Shot limb, the Gotō must have some method of inflicting Broken penalties to raise Tenketsu to that status, such as the Called Shot abiity, or Noble Eightfold Path: 108 Blessings.

---

Cruel Hand - Physical Style • (残酷手, Zankoku-Te)
'Hiden' techniques are closely guarded secrets among shinobi clans, and the martial arts style of the Gotō falls under that category. Named after the merciless manner in which it is employed, it is one half of the reason they are so feared across the lands. Unlike the Gentle Fist of the Hyūga, the Cruel Hand abandons graceful pokes and palm strikes for brutal punches, gouges, knees, kicks, claw and elbow strikes infused with chakra to ravage the target internally. It may lack the grace of the Gentle Fist but an efficient no-nonsense style aimed at overwhelming an opponent as quickly as possible is the perfect foundation for a clan of killers.

Rank 1/2/3: Unarmed Taijutsu gain +2 Accuracy, +1 Critical, and +8% Called Shot/Suppression chance. Unarmed Taijutsu attacks deal -25/20/15% Damage (also applied to their damage bonus cap).

---

Clairvoyance - Independent Special Move • (天眼通, Tengen-tsū)
The Tengan possesses the ability to see all within a certain radius, nothing being able to escape its wide field of vision. However... this visual sensory information is beyond the processing power of a normal mind. Prolonged usage leads to side effects on the user such as migraines, eye pain, and mental strain leading some Gotō to cover their eyes completely when not in use. Utilizing this technique however, one can focus, block out other senses, and concentrate purely on their Tengan sight, temporarily increasing the distance of their sensory range and enabling them to pin point their targets through their chakra view.

Rank 1/2/3: The user may reroll their Awareness vs all targets in battle with a +0/1/2 bonus (do not reroll for targets the user already is aware of). For the following 15 seconds, the user will not lose awareness of targets they are aware of.

Cost: 1 AP and 2% Max CP

Notes
  • Requires 15 second cooldown after use

---

Noble Eightfold Path: 108 Blessings - Unarmed Taijutsu • (八正道: 百八祝福, Hasshōdō: Hyakuhachi Shukufuku)
The most powerful jutsu of the Gotō clan, this technique combines the Tengan, Cruel Hand, and Taijutsu skill into one. Devastating the targets chakra system with a barrage of tenketsu strikes, the Gotō seal away significant portions of the target's chakra system. The most skilled Gotō may also combine knowledge of the human body to strike critical points, rendering specific areas useless for a period of time.

Rank 1: Deals damage based on the user's rank. This jutsu ignores the user's damage modifiers (both positive and negative), as well as the target's Damage Reduction.
Rank 2: Gains access to the Special Acton.
Rank 3: Called Shots made with the special action may inflict Broken penalties, even if the user does not have the Called Shot ability.

Ranks are;
  • 2 Blessings - Treated as a basic strike, but deals Chakra Damage instead This level is not part of the "once per round" limitation, and may be used as if a standard basic strike following all rules.
  • 4 Blessings - Requires E-Rank. 2 attacks, each dealing 100 Chakra Damage. Costs 0.75 AP and 65 CP.
  • 8 Blessings - Requires D-Rank. 3 attacks, each dealing 225 Chakra Damage. Costs 1.25 AP and 180 CP.
  • 12 Blessings - Requires C-Rank. 4 attacks, each dealing 250 Chakra Damage. Costs 1.75 AP and 335 CP.
  • 22 Blessingss - Requires B-Rank. 5 attacks, each dealing 300 Chakra Damage. Costs 2.25 AP and 545 CP.
  • 52 Blessings - Requires A-Rank. 6 attacks, each dealing 550 Chakra damage. Costs 2.75 AP and 1650 CP.
Special Action - 108 Blessings: The user may use each strike as a Called Shot. Each strike has its own individual chance of inflicting called shot penalties, and multiple may succeed.

Notes:
  • May only be used once per round.
  • The user may choose a lower rank, but cannot choose a rank higher than their OOC rank.

Truth: Origin of Suffering • (真: 集諦, Shin: Jittai)
se5JtrQ.png

The Origin of Suffering is one of the two 'truths' taught in the Cruel Hand style. To understand where suffering begins allows one to master suffering, and Gotō who study this truth of the Cruel Hand are no stranger to it. Seen as the standard path for most Gotō assassins this branch of their martial art furthers their Taijutsu, allowing them to tear someone apart from the inside with chakra-infused strikes, sometimes even killing without drawing a drop of blood externally. This makes them among the fiercest martial artists in the world with each touch capable of causing very lethal injuries.
924 PL - Thousand Arms (Rank 1), Noble Eightfold Path: Heavenly Touch (Rank 1)
1008 PL - Path of Blood (Rank 1)
1092 PL - Noble Eightfold Path: Heavenly Touch (Rank 2)
1176 PL - Thousand Arms (Rank 2), Path of Blood (Rank 2)
1260 PL - Noble Eightfold Path: Dharma Wheel (Rank 1)
1344 PL - Thousand Arms (Rank 3), Noble Eightfold Path: Heavenly Touch (Rank 3)
1428 PL - Noble Eightfold Path: Dharma Wheel (Rank 2),
1512 PL - Noble Eightfold Path: Myriad Worlds (Rank 1)
1596 PL - Path of Blood (Rank 3)
1680 PL - Noble Eightfold Path: Dharma Wheel (Rank 3), Noble Eightfold Path: Myriad Worlds (Rank 2)
1764 PL - Noble Eightfold Path: Myriad Worlds (Rank 3)

---

Thousand Arms - Passive • (千腕, Senude)
The Truths of the Cruel Hand are best represented by the symbol of the Dharma Wheel; and the Origin of Suffering teaching believes that the Cruel Hand is a tool which should be used when it is time to start others on their cycle of rebirth again. With this belief, they believe in holding nothing back from disabling their opponent in the most direct way possible, attacking with such speed that it seems they have multiple arms.

Rank 1/2/3: When attacking with a Taijutsu of B-rank or above, the user may make 2 free Basic Strikes upon the target(s). 0/1/2 of these may be used as Called Shots.

Notes:
  • A specific target may be affected by Thousand Arms once per round.
  • Free Basic Strikes made through Thousand Arms do not count toward the users limit of "Free Strikes".

Path of Blood - Passive • (血途, Ketsuzu)
The strikes of a Gotō who has trained in the way of the Origin of Suffering hold nothing back. While the Cruel Hand itself already appears as a string of vicious forceful barrages from the Gotō, these practitioners focus their strikes on parts of the body which cause the most internal damage. A master of the Origin of Suffering is said to be able to end the life of an unexpecting target with a touch to a vital organ.

Rank 1: The user's Unarmed Taijutsu which fully hit have a chance to inflict Bleeding. [Link to Bleeding rules]
Rank 2: The Cruel Hand style now also grants +8% Bleed chance.
Rank 3: Bleed ranks inflicted by Unarmed Taijutsu are treated as two Bleed ranks -only- for the purpose of removing/ignoring/etc Bleed ranks.

---

Noble Eightfold Path: Dharma Wheel - Buffing Taijutsu • (八正道: 法輪, Hasshōdō: Hōrin)
A special technique of the Gotō clan, this technique is performed by the Gotō releasing chakra from every tenketsu in their body while spinning themselves rapidly; the result being a chakra barrier to protect themselves from harm in all directions. Gotō loathe to mention the nausea which may or may not soon follow afterward.

Rank 1/2/3: This jutsu may be used reflexively. Upon use, the user chooses 1, 2 or 3 seconds; the user may not perform other actions during this time, but any non-genjutsu attack which hits them is affected by a Barrier which reduces the attack's damage by 45/55/65%. Any who attack the user during this time are attacked with two Basic Strikes at +2 accuracy (applied once per target)

Cost: 2.25 AP; 735 CP.

Notes:
  • Requires a 10 second cooldown after use.
  • This is a Barrier technique that does not have HP, and instead reduces the damage of incoming attack's by a percentage.
  • This Barrier does not receive the Barrier DR as it reduces the incoming damage.
  • While Noble Eightfold Path: Dharma Wheel reduces the damage taken, it does not count as DR, and cannot be bypassed as such.
  • Attacks which have their damage reduced by Dharma Wheel do not receive a chance to strike the user with any secondary effects.
  • Any who attacks the user are eligible to be targeted by the two basic strikes, even if their attack was not reduced by Dharma Wheel.
  • The user suffers a -1 dodge penalty per blocked attack (stacking up to -3). This penalty lasts the remainder of the round.

---

Noble Eightfold Path: Heavenly Touch - Buffing Taijutsu • (八正道: 天触, Hasshōdō: Tensawa)
Emphasizing their precise control over their Tenketsu, the teaching of the Origin of Suffering allows the Gotō to precisely release blows of chakra from their Cruel Hand strikes, creating shock waves which my strike even distant targets.

Rank 1/2/3: The user’s Unarmed Taijutsu may target Airborne targets at -1/+0/+1 acc. Unarmed Taijutsu used this way does not count as Melee Contact, and gain +21% chance of suppression.

Cost: 2.25 AP, 820 CP, 410 CP/Rnd

Notes:
  • The accuracy of attacks against the non-Airborne targets are unaffected by this technique.
  • The additional suppression chance applies to Airborne and non-Airborne targets.

---

Noble Eightfold Path: Myriad Worlds - Arena Taijutsu • (八正道: 無数世界, Hasshōdō: Musūsekai)
More of a meditation than a technique, the Myriad Worlds paints the vision of the 8-spoke Dharma Wheel within the mind's eye of the Gotō. To them, the world beyond the boundary of this field ceases to exist; but within the field they are transcendent. Enlightened, even. The extreme focus of this meditation grants them heightened speed and clarity, viewing the world in slow-motion. This grants them greater range to their techniques, capable of striking all within the envisioned field.

Rank 1/2/3: The user attempts to create a Myriad Worlds around up to 3 targets at +1/1/2 Melee Accuracy. The user gains +1/2/2 Dodge while within the Myriad Worlds. Rank 3 allows the user to access the special action. Failed escape/enter attempts allow the user to make 2 Basic Strikes against the target that failed.
[Jūoku Tengan] Rank: May only be performed by those with Jūoku Tengan. Functions as above, however, the user may forfeit the dodge bonus to make the first attack against a target a sneak attack.

Special Action: When making a Taijutsu attack, the user may choose to designate the Myriad Worlds as the only target (forfeiting any other targets the attack may have). If this is used, this instead turns the Taijutsu into an AoE that strikes any amount of targets that are within Myriad Worlds. The user may specify which targets they do and do not want to attack (by default, all enemies)

Cost: 2.75 AP, 2480 CP, 1240 CP/Rnd
HB Cost: 3.75 AP, 4250 CP, 2125 CP/Rnd

  • This is an Arena Technique
  • Attempting to enter or exit requires a successful Taijutsu check against the user.
  • An additional escape attempts may be made for 1 Ap.
  • All failed checks cause the target to take 2 Basic Strikes from the user.
  • Free Basic Strikes made through failed attempts do not count toward the users limit of "Free Strikes"

Truth: Cessation of Suffering • (真: 道諦, Shin: Dō-tai)
7M0CuE1.jpg

The Cessation of Suffering is one of the two 'truths' belonging to the Cruel Hand style. Focusing on more precise disabling strikes, this truth gives practitioners the ability to completely shut down a target's chakra pathway system, suppressing them and leaving them little more than a shell barely capable of basic actions. Though this may seem the more merciful of the two 'truths', it has debilitating effects and lends itself to the more sadistic clan members. Even the greatest of threats can be turned into a plaything when they have no means of fighting back.
924 PL - Cessation of Suffering (Rank 1), Cessation of Suffering: Six Perfections (Rank 1)
1008 PL - Chakra Point Suppression (Rank 1)
1092 PL - Cessation of Suffering: Six Perfections (Rank 2)
1176 PL - Cessation of Suffering (Rank 2), Chakra Point Suppression (Rank 2)
1260 PL - Giving Touch (Rank 1)
1344 PL - Cessation of Suffering (Rank 3), Cessation of Suffering: Six Perfections (Rank 3)
1428 PL - Giving Touch (Rank 2),
1512 PL - Noble Eightfold Path: Bodhisattva (Rank 1)
1596 PL - Chakra Point Suppression (Rank 3)
1680 PL - Giving Touch, Noble Eightfold Path: Bodhisattva (Rank 2)
1764 PL - Noble Eightfold Path: Bodhisattva (Rank 3)

---

Cessation of Suffering - Passive • (道諦, Dō-tai)
The twin disciplines of the Cruel Hand is best represented by the symbol of the Dharma Wheel; and the Cessation of Suffering teaching believes that the Cruel Hand is a style of fighting best used to end people's suffering. With this belief, their strikes are aimed at disabling the enemy completely to make them easier to finish off.

Rank 1/2/3: Inflicting Suppression on a target causes the target's next Jutsu to lose half/half/all of any beneficial damage modifiers. Rank 2 causes the target’s chakra cost modifiers to be affected as well.

---

Chakra Point Suppression - Passive • (点穴 抑制, Tenketsu Yokusei)
The strikes of a Gotō who has trained in the way of the Cessation of Suffering believe the greatest strength is shown through understanding, and rather than strike to take a life as quickly as possible, these practitioners focus their strikes on parts of the body which govern the flow and usage of energy and stamina. A master of the Cessation of Suffering is said to be able to remove an opponent's capability of fighting while leaving them otherwise unscathed and easy prey.

Rank 1/2/3: The user's Taijutsu Critical hits will always inflict Suppression, even if the attack does not normally inflict Suppression. This does not apply to non-offensive techniques aimed at allies that can crit. At Rank 2 when attacking a target who is already at their Suppression cap, the user's Taijutsu attacks will deal additional Chakra damage equal to a % of the damage dealt. This damage % is a third/half of the attack's chance of inflicting Suppression.

---

Giving Touch - Unarmed Taijutsu • (施触, Shisawa)
The Cessation of Suffering specializes in disabling their opponents, and with their Cruel Hand, know just where to strike to temporarily stun their opponents with a single strike. while their opponents will quickly catch their breath, being disabled for even brief moments in battle can be the difference between victory and defeat.

Rank 1/2/3: May only be used on targets with at least 1 Called Shot: Tenketsu rank. Strikes at +0/1/2 Melee Accuracy. The target hit by this is chakra bound for 5 seconds, and has a 15% x Called Shot: Tenketsu rank of suffering the Disruption effect.

Cost: 2.25 AP, 695 CP

Notes:
  • A target affected by Giving Touch becomes immune to it for 10 seconds after it wears off.
  • While chakra bound, the target cannot perform actions that require chakra.
  • This bind is broken if the victim takes damage, or the user attacks the victim. (They have a -3 Dodge penalty to the attack aimed at them though)
  • This 'Disruption' effect dispels a random effect active on the target that they are using chakra to maintain.
  • A target may only be affected by this skill three times per battle normally. However, if the target has Called Shot: Tenketsu at the Broken rank, this restriction is removed.

---

Noble Eightfold Path: Bodhisattva - Unarmed Taijutsu • (八正道: 菩薩, Hasshōdō: Bosatsu)
The ultimate technique of the Truth of the Cessation of Suffering combines the Gotō's precise chakra control and an understanding of true graciousness into one, producing a technique capable of striking enemies just as well as it can protect allies. It is said that the user's chakra-infused limbs move so fast when using this Taijutsu that it appears as if many arms made purely of chakra protrude from their sides and back, just like the ever grateful bodhisattva. Showing all the traits of the Cruel Hand, this technique is considered to represent the Truth as a whole.

Rank 1/2/3: Strikes 1/2/3 targets for 1800 damage. The user gains the 'Heavenly Guard' status. Rank 3 allows the special action to be used.

Special Action - Bodhisattva's Grace: The user may use this technique reflexively as a Barrier for the user and up to two additional targets, granting each target their own Barrier and the 'Heavenly Guard' status. This barrier has HP equal to the damage it would have dealt as an attack, and protects against Elemental and Physical damage.

Cost: 2.25 AP, 900 CP.

Notes:
  • Requires 5 second cooldown after use..
  • 'Heavenly Guard' status grants +40% Damage Reduction vs the first attack which hits the user (if multi-hit, applies to the entire action), and has a 50% chance of negating any non-damage properties the triggering attack may have. Heavenly Guard remains active for 5 seconds, or until hit by an attack.
  • Bodhisattva's Grace has its own individual barrier HP pool for each protected target and the user.
  • Bodhisattva's Grace follows all Barrier rules with one exception: Allies and the user may perform Unarmed attacks without ending the Barrier’s protection.

Cessation of Suffering: Six Perfections - Unarmed Taijutsu • (道諦: 六波羅蜜, Dō-tai: Rokuharamitsu)
A secret technique of the Gotō that specializes in using their precise control over chakra to load their bodies with it, often manifesting in a visible chakra aura that takes the shape of something dear to the user. It's said that the originator of this technique had an aura that appeared as six large prayer beads emanating from their back in the shape of a halo, Another user had six begging bowls. One other manifested three bamboo blinds. Regardless of appearance, the effect is unchanged; the Gotō gains the capability of severely crippling the target's ability of containing and generating chakra and energy.

Rank 1/2/3: Strikes 3 times at +1/2/2 Melee Accuracy, each dealing 990/1240/1485 damage. Damage from this jutsu reduces the target's Max CP by an equal amount, up to their current CP value. Additionally, the target is prevented from recovering any Chakra for 5 seconds x number of hits.

[Jūoku Tengan] Rank: May only be performed by those with Jūoku Tengan.Functions as above, however, accuracy is +3 and the damage is increased to 1560/1950/2340.

Special Action - Six Perfections Sutra: The user may lower the base damage by 20% to deal CP damage instead of Physical damage. This jutsu ignores the user's damage modifiers (both positive and negative), as well as the target's Damage Reduction.

Cost: 2.75 AP. 2350 CP
HB Cost: 3.75 AP, 4020 CP

Notes:
  • May be used once per round.
  • The duration of the "chakra sealing" aspect of this attack does not stack; if used on a target already affected, whichever duration is greater will overwrite the other.

Family estate- Enter Here
The architecture of the family estate of the Gotō is clearly from a bygone era and it is quite large compared to more modern homesteads. The whole of the estate grounds covers an area of ten thousand square feet. Seven thousand for the main house and all of its rooms, and three thousand for the guest house. All types of flora decorate the land, notably wisteria taking a central role in the landscaping. The lilac petals compliment the old design of the estate well, alongside various manicured shrubbery and large ancient trees.

A central courtyard separates the larger main grounds from the guest ones. It is paved with sleek stone, some scuff marks visible from duels or sparring sessions of ages past. On the eastern side of the yard through a large set of fusama lies the dojo, a spacious area with wooden floors for training. Across the yard from the dojo on the western side are another set of doors leading to the the main grounds. Centrally located is a very large open space for training and drilling that has wooden dummies, straw targets for archery and shurikenjutsu practice, as well as an area dedicated solely for dueling. Benches and groves pepper the grounds.

A guest house resides near the back of the estate grounds that is big enough to be considered its own house. The interior consists of many fusama that mostly all connect to one another. Some have solid walls where privacy is necessary. An armory is also located on the grounds in a defensible position that isn't apparently obvious to outsiders. There are rumors of hidden passages and false walls within the Gotō home, hidden weapon caches and rooms that are better not spoken of in front of polite company.

The Senju Clan
View attachment 2459

Name: Senju Clan

Motto: "Do not strive to go through life. Instead, seek to grow through life."

Banner: The Senju Clan Symbol

Political Structure:

• Clan Leader – The Leader of the Senju clan is given final say on any major issues brought up within the semi-diplomatic functioning of the clan. He is responsible for an meetings personally required by the Hokage, as well as choosing the general path for the clan to take, based on the advisory suggestions of the Main Tree and Side Branches. The position of Clan Leader is one that is given based on merit and a vote by selected delegates of the Main Tree and Side Branches, however to qualify to be Clan Leader, one must be of Senju blood and able to manifest the traditional powers that go along with their Senju bloodline.

• Main Tree Member – Members of the Main Tree of the Senju clan are direct descendants of the clan's founding family up until . They are responsible for the majority of diplomatic and strategic planning done within the clan. While they have the authority to make minor decisions involving trade, assignments, and other day-to-day operations, any major decisions that could affect the clan or village are required to go through the Clan Leader. Three members of the Main Tree are appointed as the group's 'representative' when dealing with the Clan Leader and other higher powers. These three delegates each represent one of the three primary sectors of interest for the clan: Military, Economics, & Administration.

• Side Branch Member – Members of the Side Branch of the Senju clan are those related by marriage or are not considered 'full Senju' due to the majority of their members' genealogy being more diluted to the point that they do not fully manifest the clan's traditional abilities to utilize the Wood advanced element or their innate reserves of Natural Energy. This is the most populous group of the Senju clan. Though these members traditionally do not hold the highest position of power within the clan, they still have an equal amount of representatives within the clan's decision-making and advisory functions. The three delegates of the Side Branches each represent a large portion of the clan's population and tend to push issues that directly affect their respective groups.

• Offshoot Member – Members of the clan that are not related by blood, but who have otherwise proven themselves to be loyal and valuable to clan operations are considered 'Offshoots'. These Offshoots have in some cases been some of the most influential members of clan activity outside of the Clan Leader and are not looked at as "less-than" when it comes to their input. That said, within the current structure of the clan, no Offshoot member is placed into consideration when voting on the position of Clan Leader. Regardless of that fact, a shinobi or worker being considered an Offshoot member is a very serious matter in the clan, as both they and their families are given the same rights and honors as any other member of the clan, and vote within the Side Branch segment on their representatives.

• Seedlings - Seedlings are the members of the clan that have not yet been assigned an official role within the Clan's organizational structure. Being a seedling does not infer the purity of the Senju bloodline, as young members of the Main Tree are equally likely to be a seedling as any other branch. In some cases, they are those deemed too young to be involved in clan operations or those that have not yet been accepted into the clan and must prove themselves worthy before being assigned to their respective section.

Admission: All are accepted in the Senju clan so long as they are descendants of the clan's bloodline ICly or are accepted as honorary members (offshoots) of the clan without being of Senju blood. Once accepted, you may choose one of the following four options:

Main Family – Members of the Clan that are full-bloodline descendants. These families have a 100% rate of passing the bloodline's genetic techniques down to their offspring.

Branch Family – Members of the Clan that are partial bloodline descendants. Most of the members of these families do not manifest the Senju abilities, but there are of course exceptions to this trend, and some develop as well as any Main Family member.

Offshoot - Members of the Clan that have been accepted because of loyalty, willingness, and the value they bring. They are not required to possess any Senju blood at all and are not considered 'lesser' by the clan.

Seedlings - Honorary members of the Clan that are either too young or whose loyalty is yet unproven. These members do not have any decision-making authority and are subjected to testing and training to become full members of the clan over time.

Member List:

Senju Miki [NPC] - Clan Leader
Senju Itsuki [NPC] - Main Tree Member [Delegate]
Senju Akio - Main Tree Member

Goals: The Senju Clan's goal is to provide a haven of growth for both their clan's base of power as well as the young shinobi of the Leaf village.

Background: The Senju clan's history with the Village Hidden in Leaves is a complicated one that is effectively broken into two parts. In the past, the Senju hailed from Forest Country, which was a barren wasteland before a certain monk by the name Senju Kensei began to exert his control over the elements and breathed new life into the region. In his final moments he was caught in a conflict over the lands that he had come to call home against those of the Uchiha and their growing Fire Country. Pierced in the heart, legend further has it that he turned into a great tree the size of which no man could ever fathom. This is why the Senju and the Uchiha have little dealings with each other until recently and also why the Forest Country and the location of Kensei's remains were closely guarded by his descendants.

However, since the fall of the country's Daimyo, members of the Senju bloodline have very slowly become more and more integrated into Fire Country society. Having buried the hatchet long ago with the Uchiha and also having recently created a clan stronghold within the Village's walls, the Senju are slowly working their way back to becoming one of the more influential clans within Konoha and the Fire Country as a whole. Their focus on growth and cultivation has led them to develop a reputation of generosity, acceptance, and servitude towards the village, despite the seriousness and intensity their re-founding Clan Leader, Senju Miki, carries himself with. While the future of the clan is yet to be seen, they have proven both their loyalty and willingness to aid the village in spite of the weight of the past.
