Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The dull ache was always there, a steady beat alongside the ticking grandfather clock in the corner of Nao's study. A new bandage pressed against the deep cut on his chest gave him just a bit of relief. He let out a soft hiss as he reached for a pile of parchment, the movement tugging at his stitched skin. "Okay," he said to himself, "Perspective. It's easy for me to say that." He grimaced as he stood up, battling the dizziness that threatened to overwhelm him. He walked over to a mirror and squinted at his reflection. "I guess I'm presentable enough." He had picked a high-collared tunic, trying to hide as much of the bandaging as he could. No need to freak out his students unnecessarily.

Today's class focused on Perspective & Mindset, a crucial skill for any aspiring ninja or anyone trying to navigate the tricky waters of life. He couldn't help but find the irony in it. Here he was, physically limited, yet responsible for guiding young minds toward resilience. He collected his notes, neatly arranging them on the mahogany table in his study. Taking a moment, he inhaled deeply and closed his eyes. He concentrated on the image of his students, their eager expressions, their thirst for knowledge. He envisioned their energy, their potential. He saw them succeeding and thriving despite the challenges they would inevitably encounter. This was his mission. This was what would sustain him. He opened his eyes, a spark of determination shining in them. He stepped out of his study, walking with a fresh sense of calm and purpose, ready to impart his hard-won wisdom. If he, battered and tired, could muster the strength to teach, then surely they could find the courage to confront their own struggles.

Inside the classroom, he would wait for the people to drift in... “Good morning,” he began, his voice calm and clear. “Today, we’re not having a lesson. We’re starting a quest.”

Mitsuha was familiarizing herself with the Konoha Academy. All the time that she was a human puppet, has made it feel almost like she was in a dream. The head Jounin would walk around, making sure that all was going as planned for of teaching the newer generations how to become ninjas.

She herself was still getting used to this body. That night had possibly been too much for Mitsuha given that her and Otami had to cut some corners in terms of the time in order to both save Mitsuha from dying, along with getting back to Leaf and trying to save as much people as she can.

Upon entering one classroom, she found none other than the Hokage sitting there. She has had a few encounters with him before. One of which was when she was a human puppet and null of emotions during that time. Despite that, he had promoted her to Head Jounin once more for her efforts in helping the Village during the Virus that had afflicted most of the people.

Will he recognize that it is her? Her chakra signature should remain the same, but she now has an actual body now. There are other factors as play that the girl herself doesn't really know about but that is something that she needs to talk to Otami about. Her cheeks flushed. Why is it when she thinks about Otami now this happens? She pushed the thought out of her head and walked into the classroom.

"Good morning Nao-sama. How are you doing today?" She would slightly bow her head before he had spoken. She then listened to what he had said. A quest? She figured this must be for the younger students. But she figured, why not? It would be nice to reconnect with the Hokage now that she actually isn't some emotionless puppet. It would also be good to see any new and upcoming students and Genin that might have some promise.

He wasn't sitting down but rather leaning against the table, waiting for people to drop in. He wasn't sure how many would, if any would... but he was glad if anyone did show up. It took a bit of time, but there was the first one. 'Mitsuha.' He thought, he remembered her from last time. But something was different about her. He would slowly push himself to a standing position instead of leaning with his butt on the table so that he would be more presentable to her.

"Good morning, Mitsuha. Still have a bit of brainfog, but other than that, I think we can conclude I am alive." Nao purposely left out that his medical team would most likely scream at him that he was already up and running. "How are you doing today?" He asked politely in return, and after the answer, he would say that this class would be a quest rather than a lesson. He picked up a crayon and started writing on the board: 'Project: The Phoenix Protocol.' While doing that, he started to explain. "I have seen it too many times, life is serious, the exams, will I make them, what about my job searching? What about my relationships, all those burdens and... Yes, you cannot change those stakes, because the stakes are high. But the way we approach them... we can change." He would turn around after writing it and look towards Mitsuha. "Now If I told you... This project cannot fail in Q4; a lot of money has been pumped into this, and the stakes are very high. You must have weekly reports and mentor the intern that I place in your care. Every week, there is a meeting with the client, too. How does this make you feel..?" He would await her answer.
