Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

As the sun set in the cloud weather the swarms of academy students usually took to the streets to do their “missions.” A day of classes, a couple hour of missions, and then a night of whatever the student wanted. It was a decent life for the student to get paid and also learn how to be a shinobi. One such student part-taking in this daily routine was Sabaku.

Today, he was assigned to help clean the temple of five. They were split up each to assign satute and assigned to clean around it. Sabaku had been assigned to work around the temple with the yellow eyes, and with a mop, broom, and cleaning liquid it was time for him to get to work.

Sabaku arrived at the temple to do the mission he was tasked with carrying out. He waited and then was ordered to clean around the room that was themed with the lightning element.

Lightning? My favorite, how could I be so lucky? Sabaku thought to himself

Grabbing the broom he got started cleaning up, he started sweeping from the northwest corner and moved outwards towards the entrance as to make sure he could just sweep it outside.
He couldn't believe how messy this place could be, even finding a bowl of half eaten ramen.

I thought this was supposed to be a place of worship, not a local dump... Sabaku muttered under his breath.

If it were up to me there would be more consequences for people who just leave their trash lying around, so disrespectful toward the old gods and the elements... He thought.

Peeking outside the room to see how the other students were doing he saw a few actually working while some others were talking amongst themselves. He couldn't believe how lazy some people were and went back to his work. Everything had now been picked up and was preparing to mop the floors. Some places were sticky with what smelled like sake, again filled with disbelief that people would do that here as well.

Stopping for a moment after grabbing the Cleaning solution he peered up to the statue and said aloud, I'm sorry that people would do this to your shrine, some people just have no respect for what is truly important.

The cleaning was simple, but good training for any student who needed to work on discipline. Cleaning by yourself, and working in the quietness made it a test of one will and determination. It seemed though the child Sabaku was ready for it. As he cleaned though someone seemed to walk into the room.

This someone was a civilian. He was overweight to say the least, with short black hair, and black eyes. He was munching on a candy bar making a mess as he just stared at the statute. Behind him were mud prints from his shoes, scuffs on the clean floor. It seemed single handedly this man was undoing the work Sabaku had done. What would he do?

As he was just finishing cleaning the room he stood back to see that masterwork he had just completed.
Just as he felt the joyous moment of completion, a overweight man walked in with black hair and eyes. The unknown man tracked mud all over his freshly cleaned floor.

Trying to contain is obvious frustration, he tried to calmly say, Excuse me sir, but I just cleaned this room, did you see the wet floor signs outside the room? Would you mind grabbing a towel and clean your mess up?

The man was just snorting a bit as he looked down at the little kid. "Isn't that your job kid?" He asked a bit as he then wiped his floor on the ground. This middle age man seemed like an ass, and more importantly not a shinobi. "What are you going to do anyway?" He asked as he looked at him with a smirk on his chubby face. This was the moment, would Sabuka do anything? Or would he just be put downby some fat civilian.

The man's words felt like a sack of bricks smacking him in his ego, Sabaku wouldn't stand for this. Whether he was a kid or not he had to do something about this.
Talking down to a child, defiling a holy shrine, OBESITY?!?! Enough was enough, Sabaku let go of the supplies in hand.
Before the supplies could even hit the floor, he was upon the fat man with his fist sunken into his gut.

Perhaps this will teach you to better respect the young....after all...we are the future.... Sabaku whispered to the man.

The man gasped for breath as he was punched. He was no shinobi, he did not have the reflexs to dodge it. "You bastard!" He said as he closed his eyes. He was gasping for air as he fell on his fat rear. His teary black eyes were nearly bulging out of his head as he tried to gather his breath. It would be a moment before he got to feet and stumbled out the door holding his gut. All the while he was cursing the kid in someway. With that, nothing would happen the rest of the night. Sabuka would have to clean again, but he soon would have the pay in hand and able to spend it however he pelased.

Mission Successful. Go get your pay somewhere.

Sabaku finished Re-Cleaning the room and returned the cleaning supplies. Walking home he wondered if he had done the right thing...if he ever saw that man again he would have to apologize for what he did, maybe buy him another candy bar as an apology.
