Restraining the samurai's movements would pose to be the greatest strategy after witnessing a freakish display of a demon blade devouring its hosts arm. Dust had picked up from all the fighting, and amid the darkness it was too difficult to discern just what the seal was on Taroshi. 'We have to push for victory now, I'd hate to see what he could do to us in that state..' the boy thought to himself in his head, glancing to his childhood friend Ryo and nodding briefly. It was obvious to the two boys that they would have to put everything into their next attacks if they were to defeat this opponent that was out for blood. Yaboi was concerned with Ryo's condition, having been the only one to take the attacks of the samurai. Though his confidence grew as he had witnessed his friend fight through the pain and not give up on their objective.
"Now or never, lets end this Ryo." Yaboi announced with clear determination 'What a pain.. We'll have to bring him to the adults after this fight..' the boy mulled over in his mind briefly.
Taroshi would struggle with the shadow possession long enough for the duo to throw down their handseals and prepare their coordinated attacks. Yaboi's shadow crawled up his back and coiled around his arms to his hands in a similar manner as before with his earlier Rasengan. The boy was truly pushing it, exhausting quite a bit of his chakra to perform the combination attack. Two shadowy balls of violent chakra formed in both of his palms and he took a step back, bringing his arms back and glancing to Ryo for the final time to get their coordinated strike perfect. The boy's shadow coiled and pulled the two Rasengan further back and with a large amount of effort the boy took a singular step forward and thrust his palms towards Taroshi, launching the two shadowy spheres of violent chakra at the samurai along side Ryo's Heatblast and Convection Spheres
"RASENGAN!" the boy shouted victoriously. The combination attack would prove to be too much for Taroshi to handle and the damage was evident as the area around them changed into a storm of dust and debris. Yaboi lifted up his arms to cover his face, peeking over briefly to Ryo
"I.. I think we got him." the boy said through bated breath. To Yaboi's surprise Ryo was not finished, he wanted more out of this fight for one reason or another.
"Ryo stop, we can't kill him!" Yaboi pleaded but it was too late. Ryo had finished his handseals and let loose a Fireball jutsu in direction to the cloud of dust where Taroshi once stood. 'This is bad, we can't learn anything if the fool is dead!' the boy thought to himself as he could do nothing to stop the attack
There was a moment of silence, lasting only a few seconds. The young nara's mind was racing, too many thoughts poured through him as he tried to get a proper grasp on the situation at hand. 'Is he dead? Whats with that weapon of his? Is it over? Why did Ryo continue?' were a few idle thoughts that came to him within the moment. To Yaboi everything was at a standstill, all these thoughts seemingly instantaneous. Thinking would prove to me useless, the situation the two academy students found themselves in was catastrophic. A glimmer of malefic light began at Taroshi's location, having activated some final act of hate within the brief moment that he had. Yaboi's eyes widened as he brought his arms up in reaction, but it was too late. A fiery explosion full of hate and malice erupted, burning nearby trees and life. The sheer force of the explosion knocked Yaboi far off his feet and into the air flipping over himself like a ragdoll as he collided through tree branches and slamming into the trunk of a larger tree, the boy could do nothing but cover his face. Upon colliding with a tree the boy's body seemingly bounced sickeningly off the bark and falling to the earth below. Yaboi coughed violently, all sorts of scratches and wounds from debris began to bleed. His own blood soon soaked the right side of his face from a large gash on his head, and the fire had eviscerated the boy's clothes into burned tatters. The boy's vision blurred as he weakly opened his left eye, the world around him spinning as he could only see the devastation brought forth by the explosion.
"R-Ryo.." the young shinobi called out weakly and quietly, trying as best he could to get a grasp on his current location and his teammates. 'My head.. This pain..' the boy thought as his hands reached out to the earth before him to drag himself a few feet away from his initial impact, slowly and begrudgingly pushing his weak body to his feet. The young boy stumbled through the devastated forest that soon took to the flames willingly, the forest itself lighting up like a christmas tree.
"Ryo.." the boy called out once more, holding onto his right side as he stumbled through the rising smoke in the direction he believed to be the center of the explosion. His head turned to look in all directions as he vision slowly began to focus, the boy covering his mouth with a free hand as he let out a violent fit of coughing. There was not a trace of the samurai that wielded the frightening blade that sought to consume its host, and the fire would continue to rage. Yaboi shook his head
"F-Focus idiot.. What can you do.." he said to himself as a way to motivate his mind and body into action. Yaboi brought his left hand up and committed to some one-handed handseals
"Water Style.. Rain Dance jutsu.." the boy announced as tears began to well up in his eyes. Not a moment sooner did the jutsu begin to take affect, starting a large downpour of water upon the area of the forest in which the fighting took place. Smaller fires would be put out but the larger fires would try their best to fight off the rain. Yaboi panted with exhaustion and gritted his teeth 'Ryo is somewhere.. I just hope I'm not too late..'.
Ignoring his own wounds the young shinobi pushed on to find where the explosion had tossed his friend. Yaboi knew he was in far better shape than his partner, having been skilled enough to use his defensive jutsus correctly. The boy's concern grew and grew as he looked for is friend
"C'mon Ryo.. Answer me!" he called out finally with a bit more zeal. Either by sheer luck or by fate Yaboi finally found Ryo knocked completely unconscious with devastating wounds. Rain poured down upon the two, washing away blood and dirt but Yaboi had to act fast and push through his physical pain to help his friend who needed the attention much more than he did. The boy kneeled down to his friend in silence and looked over his condition 'I'm not a medic.. I just got to do what I can right now in this moment before its too late.' he concluded in his mind. Taking out a small med kit from his tattered belt and laying it next to Ryo the damaged Yaboi got to work, trying his best with as little know-how as he had. Cleaning up his friend as best he could he then took a moment to clean himself up aswell 'Can't passout before I bring Ryo back.. This pain kills..'. Yaboi lifted his taller friend into a piggyback and gritted his teeth and the weight he had to endure. The rain stopped as Yaboi slowly pushed forward with Ryo on his back and made his way to the exit of the forest, back to the village below the Hokage Rocks; Konoha.
