Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Current Ninpocho Chronicles Time:

Things were changing down here in the inner Marushi. For once it seemed the government was paying attention to the more unsafe of the areas. Last week, an edict was issued, an edict from the government stating that there would be construction to create and renovate a new Hope Clinic. This meant that everywhere around the small clinic, had to be bought by the government and demolished.

The land itself was bought at a great price for the people who owned the apartment’s, houses or shops that were around the clinic. It was a great chance for the people who lived there and worked around there to get enough money to own shop elsewhere, or even buy a new better house for the family to live. It was because of this almost every family leapt out of the chance to get out of the ghetto that they currently lived in. Of course some people needed a little bit of arm twisting to get them out of their house, or business, but eventually the yen always won out.

One such person was old lady Tsundare. Old lady Tsundare was an eighty-five year old lady, whom had never served before in the shinobi corps. She had spent her whole live here in these ghettos and when she wanted was told she had to move she protested it. Eventually, the government had come up with a proper package that made her want to leave. She agreed, signed her papers to move out, got her money, and then refused to move out. Locked up in small house in the middle of the block. Right where the construction would happen.

Today, three young academy students have been assigned to see if they could attempt to get her out of her house, and see if they could solve whatever problems she might have.

[legend="Clearing the Streets"]There was running, lots of running, in the shinobi world. Whether chasing after rogue-nin or running away from them, running during a battle or running late to a class, there was always running to be had. Today was no different, as Chi would soon come to realize. Chi had her first class the previous day, and using the marker had taken a lot more out of her than she expected. She felt Tora had undersold the exhaustion she would be feeling as she forced herself out of bed that morning. The door opened to her mother coming in, surprised to see her daughter there. She told Chi she thought the girl had already left for the mission, and then it donned on her.
"Stale cheese-balls!" The strange girl yelled. With new found energy she quickly grabbed a red dress from her closet and sprung out of her room half-naked as she struggled to put it on over her poufy, white hair. She ran out of the clan housing and went straight for the mission spot where she would be meeting with the others. This would be the first team mission and she didn't want to be late, what would her teammates think? It was a D-rank mission so she was lucky to be a part of it, she felt, since she was only an academy student. It gave her an undeserved sense of confidence in herself.
"Huh…" Never having been in the ghetto part of the village before, Chi was shocked at what she saw and the lack of people she didn't see. "Such empty. Much poor. Wow." She couldn't imagine the living that had gone down there before the people were bought out for the Hope Clinic's renovation. Speaking of which, she didn't see her teammates. "Hmm, I wonder where they could be? I guess I got here early after all… Go me!"[/legend]

"No, you're late." The boy would say as he looked down at Chi from his perch atop of a rather large brick wall, a grin playing on his lips. The young Hyuuga would be dressed in a yellow shirt, jeans, and a black hoodie, his headphones hanging around his neck. "What happened, alarm clock didn't go off this morning?" He would ask as he would jump down from the wall, gracefully landing on his feet. His hands would hide within the pockets of his hoodie, the sound of his music through the headphones barely audible. "You shouldn't feel too bad though, you still got here before Oyochi. I'm assuming having to stop every couple of steps to catch his breath is why he isn't here yet." He would laugh as he looked around for a moment before placing his gaze back on Chie. "Is this your first time in this part of the village? You look like your from a family that wouldn't have to step foot inside of a place like this. Sad, ain't it? Can you imagine actually living in a place like this?" He would ask, tapping his foot as he looked around for any signs of their final team member.

Distracted as he could have been the true nature of Oyochi's lateness resided in his own choice to spend a bit more time sitting on the edge of a building's roof and reading over a few tightly bound scrolls. Truth was that Oyochi was nervous and possibly anxious on the inside, despite the fact that his facial features resonated a relatively calm demeanor. Although this was not his first -mission- it was his first general assignment with a group and more so his partners had been two children like himself who he was slightly familiar with. Time made his mind begin to wonder if the decisions of the gods were to have the three of them together as it had seemed that everywhere he went within the academy grounds, either Kyo or Chi were there or nearby. For someone like himself who had never been around other children like this it was an experience that he for all his growing knowledge had left him quite unprepared. Socially Oyochi was nowhere near a butterfly, his ways were so constructed that other children's personalities which seemed alien to him quickly and easily made them annoyances in his book. Rolling up his scrolls, his pupils would glance out over the village...well there was nothing he could do about it now.

His arrival was late as predicted and Oyochi was dressed as he usually was with his mono-toned colored kimono, his belt pouch on his backside, and his raven hair straightened while falling over his serpentine like eyes in bangs. The only difference in his general appearance was the fact that his palms were not seen, as his kimono's sleeves had been tailored to be longer and cover his hands completely. "Chi...Kyo..." That was all he spoke to them before observing his surroundings. It was a normal sight to him, an area of low class living within a prosperous village, where those who struggled continued to do so daily even in places deemed homes. He didn't pity them but neither did he look down at how they had lived, he simply understood it as a natural roll of the dice and misfortune from the gods. "I take it you two read the mission objectives?" He wondered if they had done so, simply because this mission was completely up to them as far as completion and while they knew nothing about each other personally they did have some bleak understanding of each others tendencies, or at least he did. "...I hope this is simple..." He glanced towards Kyo momentarily before boldly stating...

"You should knock on her door and tell her to leave, afterall...you are the only -normal- one here and I am pretty sure something that simple easily fits in your bag of skills.". Naturally Oyochi would say something like this to Kyo, between the two of them they had a building rivalry and poking jabs towards each other simply came natural.

So there the three were! All of them were finally together and ready to go to work. Unfortunately, nothing at the moment nothing was happening. In fact, the only one that seemed to be focusing on the mission was Oyochi who was attempting to come up with a strategy. The other two were commenting on how poor the area was. It was for this reason that they were here. To help change this area and make it better. Whatever they would do, the trio was in front of the old semi boarded up house. The door was covered in dark luminous shadows as it seemed that Kyo was the one to pick to go up to the house. Maybe Oyochi was scared of it? Maybe he wanted Kyo to deal with anything dangerous that could come from the house. Hopefully, this lady wasn’t some sort of crazy cat lady.

[legend="Clearing the Streets"]It wasn't long before the other two arrived, Kyo having already been there only hiding. Chi was happy to see the two of them, she wasn't sure who she was working with. Though she didn't realize that there was some tension in their last encounter, she was just happy for the company at the time. They seemed alright to her, and she had never had any friends so she liked to think of them as her friends. She would smile as Oyochi approached, hearing him speak their names as he did so.
"Oyochi! Oyochi and Kyo, It's so cool that we're doing this mission together." She lifted her arm and flexed what little muscle she had, or at least thought she had. "We're going to be the best team ever." Then she would give a little wink. Oyochi seemed ready to start as he went straight to point and told Kyo he should knock on the door. She didn't pay any mind to him calling her abnormal, she knew she wasn't normal. Except, she saw it more as her being unique, as everyone is unique, and didn't quite understand what he meant by his statement.
"Alright, let's do this. It shouldn't be too bad, it's just some old lady, right?" Chi would follow to the woman's door but she was really excited. Ten-year-old girl who's "hanging out with friends" for the first time in her life kind of excited. She was a little antsy, so if Kyo didn't knock on the door fast enough she would do it herself in an exaggerated manner. She was impatient in a sense, and wanted to get on with it. This all depends, of course, on if Kyo knocks on the door before her.[/legend]

Kyo looked away from Chi as he spotted Oyochi, giving him a nod as the boy called out to them. "About time you showed up. Any longer and we would've gone and done it without you." He would say with a smirk, though his voice would be without any malice, a joke made between...companions? Friends was probably too strong of a word. "Yeah, I read it. We gotta get some old lady to leave. Not quite hunting missing nin or taking out a group of bandits...but I guess all great shinobi have to start somewhere, right?" He would sigh as he began to move towards the house in question, raising a brow as he listened to Chi. "Team? Is that what we are?" He would ask with a smile, finally stopping before the woman's door. Oyochi voted for Kyo to be the one to knock, and of course adding a dose of snark to his words. "Good idea. If she opened the door and saw you standing there she might think you were a ghost and get a heart attack. Then again...that would take care of the mission wouldn't it?" He would laugh as he knocked on the door and waited for a response.

For now Oyochi found it easy to ignore dialogue that did not cater towards the completion of their intended mission, a fact that was supported by how his body reacted while his two teammates engaged in oral conversation prior to moving towards the door. His arms crossed over his chest with the sleeves of his kimono falling freely still and his eyes remain attached to the very house they were supposed to be removing the old lady from and only on that. He was observant and always thinking about their objectives when on a mission, a trait his teammates would be sure to memorize about him for their future endeavors together. While the mission was simply a standard one, so standard that they recruited three students to complete it, he still had the mindset to treat it with complete seriousness.

Unlike Chi, he did not accompany Kyo to the doorsteps something that was fueled by the fact that Kyo made a jab towards him even though it was in a joking manner. Instead Oyochi chose to stand exactly where he had been standing but with his focus solely upon the house, his eyes wandering from window to window of the building in varying patterns. He was curious about the place and why such a older woman would hold onto a rundown relic such as this when the village was handing out a rather generous settlement for the trouble of relocating the residents to a more luxurious area. His mind worked in a sense that he constantly asked himself questions, reviewed the questionable subject in his mind, and formulated a viable answer while taking on possible counter variables. It was a simple yet complicated process of thoughts and experiences.

You can say that this way of thinking was why Oyochi simply was observing the house and trying to focus his sensor abilities on keeping a sense of awareness to his surroundings and his teammates.

Just a minute! was the response to the knock on the door. The voice sounded old, but sweet. After a couple of minutes, a lady answered the door. Her skin was old and leathery looking, and her eyes seemed black and dull. Currently, her white wispy hairs was up in a bun at the top of her hair.

Her dull eyes looked Kyo up and down and then looked at in the road. It seemed like there were two other boys.

“Are those your friends?” She said referring to Chi and Oyochi. She assumed they were trying to sell something. Maybe they were trying to raise the money to get off the streets and maybe get into the academy. One of the young boys looked sick and awful.

“Come in. Come in.” She said beckoning all of them into her house. Inside was just like any old ladies house. There were pictures of her family, lacy and frilly ornaments were covering the walls there was old appliances that seemed impossible. In fact, the small apartment made it seem like no one would want to live here besides this one old lady.

“Are you okay? You look sick. Do you need anything.” She said to Oyochi in a sweet tone before going to pour them all drinks.

“I hope all you kiddies like apple juice. It is all I have seeing how my grandkids drink it when they come.” She said forcing them to take the old cups.

“So what do I need to buy for you kids today, some cookies or sweets?” She asked before reaching for her very large purse.

[legend="Clearing the Streets"]Chi wondered why Oyochi was staying behind, she was going to say something but Kyo knocked on the door and it brought her attention to the other direction. She gave a smile as the old lady appeared. Chi would definitely follow her in, eager to see what her apartment looked like. It wasn't great. She paid extra attention to the pictures of people, which seemed like her family. She thought maybe she didn't want to leave because she raised her children here. It seemed like something that would make her not want to move out if she was in the old woman's position.
She put a finger to her bottom lip as she began to think about their mission more. The old lady seemed to pay extra attention to Oyochi and his "sickly" body. She was extra sweet to him, like someone who wanted to nurture children again. After she brought them the apple juice her statement about the grandchildren made it more obvious and Chi was certain she knew why she didn't want to leave. She took a cup and looked over at Kyo and Oyochi, wondering if they had come to same conclusion. She wasn't too confident in her deduction skills so she figured if they hadn't she must have been wrong. She went with it.
"This is a nice apartment. Did you raise your children here?" She didn't take a drink from the cup or remove her finger from her lip. If she said yes then Chi would continue with, "You must have a lot of memories in this apartment of them, then." then look at Oyochi and Kyo. She was trying to be careful not to say anything to make the old woman upset. She didn't want to see an old woman cry, she wanted to be happy for the first mission she was doing with a team.[/legend]
[legend="OOC; WC:312 "]Chi thinks that the old woman doesn't want to leave because she has too many memories of raising her children here, if the old woman says she did raise her children in the apartment she'll say the next part to see if Oyochi and Kyo agree without acting saying it cause she's not sure if they should bring up the mission yet.[/legend]

Luckily Kyo wouldn't have to wait for long, a cry responding to his knocking before the door would be answered. The woman was pretty much what he expected, but even then he felt kind of bad having to tell just an elderly person hat they needed to leave their house. He thought it would be best to just get that out of the way first, no need to drag it out. "Excuse me, Ms Tsundare? My name is Kyo and..." he would be cut off as she suddenly asked about Chi and Oyochi being his friends. "Er, yes, they are. We came here to..." And once more he would be cut off as the woman invited them into her home, looking back and shrugging at his teammates as he moved inside. As they walked he would notice all the pictures and memorabilia, getting the same inkling as Chi did as why she wouldn't want to leave. "Eighty-five years..." He would whisper under his breath, wondering if the woman had lived in this house the entire time. A cup would be pushed into his hand, taking without thinking about it as he looked towards his teammates. This was going to be a lot harder than he thought. At least he could count on Oyochi perhaps being blunt about it, though luckily Chi would be the one to speak up first.

"This home of yours must mean a lot to you. I can understand why you wouldn't want to leave it." The boy would say, setting his cup to the side. The council is planning to build a new hospital here, one bigger and better in order to serve the village. The number of people it could treat and lives that could be saved will be much more than what the clinic could do." He would say as he took the initiative, looking towards the old woman. "You agreed to move out and accept the package that the village had offered you, but you stayed. Is it because this place means so much to you?"

Reaching into the purse, the old lady was ready to buy whatever they were selling at the young girls words though, lady Tsundare nodded a bit. She had raised a lot kids here. She had a lot of memories here. There were a lot of memories for a whole family of people. “I did raise two generations of families within these very walls yes. Three children, and then ten of their children. It has been a great time.” She said softly a bit as she continued to fumble with her purse. Then when she heard him say that she didn’t want to leave she caught on to what they came here for.

“I am not leaving!” She shrieked her purse swinging and hitting Kyo in the face, and then in the shoulder with the rather heavy leathery bag. She seemed to change as she stood her ground. “That is none of your business! Get out!” She shrieked again going to hit Kyo over and over, and over, and over.

Oyochi I gave you <5 days since the last post. You need to keep this moving, I am sorry to do this but I am giving you a warning. The next time you fail the mission.

[legend="Clearing the Streets"]Chi wasn't surprised to find that her assumption as correct. It was an old tale, raising generations in one home and not wanting to leave. The only thing is that she still couldn't figure out why she agreed to move and then decided to stay. Momentary lapse of judgment? Change of heart? Dementia? All of those would work, but when Kyo tried to get that information out of her she began attacking him. Chi let out a yelp out of surprise and then a giggle at the sight of it. Then she got back to business.
"Ms. Tsundare, please don't!" She ran up to the two but stays out of purse length. "We were sent here to find out why you stayed after accepting the package? We understand this place has a lot of memories in it, but you could get a nicer place and make new memories. Moving out of the apartment won't destroy the memories, and the new hospital will be able to help everyone in the village. That includes you, your children, and your grandchildren." She scratched her head through her big fluffy hair.
"If beating Kyo makes you feel better please go ahead."[/legend]

Kyo's eyes went wide as he saw that purse swing at him, his first instinct to deflect it and then jab her in the throat, quite sure it would be enough to disable her. He had to ignore instinct however and would instead turn his shoulder towards it, letting it absorb her blows as he put up his hands. "H-hey! Quit it!" He would yell out, hoping one of his teammates would step in and do something. Finally Chi did try to diffuse the situation, though not in a way he intended. "Are you giggling? Tell her to stop hitting me, ow! It was just a question, lady!" He would complain, trying to step away from the old woman.

He had remained silent and to himself as to give his teammates whom he had viewed as more socially acceptable a chance to interact with the elderly woman and possibly talk her into leaving, however he quickly understood that the situation between the three of them would escalate given how conversations were being hashed out. His silence had momentarily granted him a pseudo sense of being forgotten by the others, through it also helped that within the house and Oyochi's features he easily blended in somewhat with the natural shadows of the many household items stuffed within the home. His head turned towards the elderly woman as his vibrant hazel eyes would widen while the pupils dilated. His chakra surged invisibly through the room arcing out and invading the elderly woman's natural chakra pool as he worked to manipulate her general sense of will. This action was something that could not visibly be predicted of him for two main reasons the first of which had to do with how he was dressed. Oyochi's long sleeves were actually serving a purpose as not only did they hide his palms but they were actually a deception technique taught to him by his mother. The whole time he had been on this mission Oyochi's arms were not actually within the sleeves but crossed against his midsection, which given his underweight body made him look as if he simply fitted the larger kimono he wore. The second was the general fact that the elderly woman had distracted herself with beating up on Kyo to much to notice that Oyochi's midsection made subtle movements, being hand signs beneath the fabric. If successful the elderly woman would find her level of concentration to have been thrown off and hinder her ability to focus on the task of beating Kyo.

That was when his second nature surfaced and the shoulder's of Oyochi's kimono would slide off revealing his short-sleeve fishnet shirt beneath it, his paper thin torso of a body and his hands which had worked quickly in the form of seals created with one hand. His reaction timing was quicker than both Chi and Kyo's should they have noticed his motions and his chakra suddenly surged around his body in a semi-transparent black haze around his palms. This chakra quickly went to work as the handseals which were already molded forced it to do and the sound of electricity sounded of through the room.

"...Get ready to catch her", was what he spoke in a low whisper towards Chi.

This lightning arc'd high then low crossing through the room purposely missing his teammates but targeting the elderly woman whom at this point would, under the effects of the genjutsu, be finding keeping her attention on what they were doing in the first place. While the shock she would receive would not be enough to actually damage anything let alone kill or wound the woman, it was enough to force her bodies muscular system to temporarily shut down in the form of paralysis.

Notes:
Used Leaking Mind to inhibit the woman's ability to concentrate on what she was doing and her surroundings.

Used Electrocution (Special Action) to inflict temporary paralysis on the woman. A note about this is that while it is a lightning jutsu, Oyochi's chakra turns it into NE which uses the same chakra/senses a Genjutsu would use rply. So basically i'm rping it as if the chakra invaded her mental ability to control her muscles resulting in the old woman's motor functions shutting down.

The old lady was quickly becoming belligerent. It was somewhat sad to see such an old lady cling to a house like this. But it seemed like Oyochi was not going to have anything to do with it. He seemed to preform some Justus on her. She at first stumbled some, as she tried to think. As it was seen she was breathing heavily, and was probably going to tire herself, but Oyochi was going to tire herself out soon.

For a moment, she stood still breathing rubbing her head. Her head seemed to hurt, but she could not even speak. Then she cried out in pain as it felt like all her body was being electrocuted. She collapsed. Weather she was caught or hit the ground flush, something would become apparent quickly. The women wasn’t breathing anymore, and if one of them knew check for her pulse, there was none. Instead, she seemed to be dying. What would they do? How would that stop this?

More importantly, what was to be expected when someone casts a genjustu on such an old civilian lady who had no training on how to take any sort of attack?

Just so everyone knows what the logic to this post, Oyochi genjustu caused her body to think that she was completely paralyzed including her lungs and heart. Currently, she is dead and you have a round to figure out a way to revive her. Have fun!

[legend="Clearing the Streets"]"Oy… Oyochi?" She yelled violently after she heard him speak to her and then saw what he was doing. By the time she noticed it was too late. She could do nothing but watch as the old woman was struck with some kind of lightning jutsu and started falling to the floor. She was close enough to be able to get under her but she could barely do anything to stop the brunt of the fall. She didn't know what to do now, she started breathing hard and her eyes were darting around the old woman's face for a second before she finally got a hold of herself. Quickly she grabbed the old woman's wrist and checked for a pulse, and there was none. If there was she couldn't feel it. Suddenly she snapped, turning to Oyochi she had flames coming from her eyes.
"What have you done?" She cried, before turning to the old woman shortly before turning back to him. "Is this a Genjutsu? Whatever you did you need to stop it now! We're not getting in trouble for you being brash!" She turned back to the old woman trying to remember what she had learned from her family training. She decided the best course of action would be to perform CPR on the woman, but she was very old. Chi had to be very careful not to hurt her more for if she did wake up. Though what would happen if she did? Either way they were going to fail the mission given to them, she wouldn't listen to them now.
She began performing chest compressions on the woman, of course she had to push lighter because of the old woman's frail bones. She might have bruises if she survives, but what could they do? She would try to breathe for her, as well, to try to get her lungs to start up as well, making sure to punch the nose and lift the chin. She didn't want to lose this woman, she couldn't lose this woman. She would feel responsible if she died, even though it wasn't she who did the action which causes this. She wasn't able to stop him, or save her after the fact. She would continue doing this until she was resuscitated or one of them got her to stop. She wouldn't listen to Oyochi but she may listen to Kyo and allow him to help her if he could.
"This was… Dumb! So dumb!" She would yell after finishing, whether she was alive or not. "What were you thinking? She's an old lady, she's not trained… How did you think this was going to go down?" If she was alive she would add in a part about needing to get her to the clinic, no matter how futile it would seem to anyone at the same. This was not going over well for Chi, her flames were burning gold from her eyes. She was angrier than probably ever before, not including the fight between she and her brother.[/legend]
[legend="OOC; WC: 506"]Tells Oyochi to stop whatever he did to her in case he still had it active, then continued to try and resuscitate her with CPR that she learned from her family training but she may not be the best at it. If Kyo can help she's likely to help him but I don't think she'd be too keen to let Oyochi help, thinking that he's done enough and all.[/legend]

Emotionless, uncaring, decisive...

Those were the only traits about his decision that ran through his mind as he stood over both the body and Chi. While he heard her supposed verbal assault at the same time he only saw movements of the lips, words fallen on death ears or so to speak. His gaze narrowed while the black chakra that had surrounded his palm dissolved and an half smirk formed against his lips. In that single instance he had fallen prey to understanding an age old truth within the village about the strong and the weak and whether such a philosophy was still actively taught it was consciously understood in the world they lived in. His glance focused momentarily at Kyo then back at Chi, mentally re-evaluating who they were and what they knew and better yet their own inability to act unless others acted first. He wondered why Kyo allowed himself to be beaten and why Chi, as concerned as she was now simply stood by and watched as it happened. His conclusion was simple, they were indecisive.

Sliding his arms back within his sleeves Oyochi turned his back on all three and tilted his neck to the side slightly. The core problem was fear, that old woman was fearless when she was striking a child yet when her bodies ability to send signals from her brain to her limbs to move was impeded she crumbled. Fearful of those who wielded more leverage than oneself was her downfall and truthfully he did not mentally care about her well-being any longer. It was more along the lines of a part of his subconscious found itself isolated from the rest of his brain's mental processes, tossed within a inescapable gully of suffocating void never to return. "Don't tell me what to do after you just sat aside and watched someone beat on your friend. Regardless of who they are or their age, you strike and you get struck. The law of the world revolves around that and if you're not strong enough to take a backlash from people then your hand should never raise in the first place." His mouth opened as a azure pill was placed between his teeth and bitten down upon, releasing his usual dosage of medicine into his body. He would start walking towards the exit of the building.

"Either way, now you have something to do with your time besides look and stare and wonder. If he lives, she loses her house anyways and if she dies well...it becomes a clinic either way after all. I'll tell the mission board myself I killed her so don't worry about either of your fledgling reputations." He didn't look back, his decision was made up on how he would go about life and what he would spend his time searching for.

Power....
Authority....
Fear....

Inalienable properties of the world which governed everything and everyone.

Accepting failure of mission on my part. Do whatever you two want to at this point since i'm more than 100% sure she's going to be saved in the next mod anyways.

Kyo could feel the energy flying through the air, chakra being molded into power and soon the old lady's attack would be stopped, the boy's eyes going wide as he saw her fall to the floor. He barely heard Oyochi speak, anger flowing through him and deafening his ears as he looked at the other boy. "Are you stupid!? She wasn't hurting me you dumbass! Do you really lack that much common sense!? He knew his words would fall on deaf ears however, doing nothing to stop Oyochi as he left the house. For now he had more immediate concerns as he looked back down at the old woman and Chi. "Stay with her, keep doing CPR. I'll head to the clinic and bring somebody to help!" He would tell her, knowing that he was probably faster than her and that she apparently had first aid training, not to mention that he had no idea what could happen if they tried to move her in such a state. After getting confirmation from Chi he would bolt to the door and exit to the house, building up chi in his legs so he could leap to the roof. He ran, jump, leaping from roof to roof, willing himself to move faster than he ever had before, tears forming in his eyes as they were battered by the wind. All this time he had been around Oyochi he thought he was weird, anti-social, but not a bad person. Now he thought differently, now he could never trust him, he was a visible threat now, and it would be important for the people of the academy to know that. All that would come later however, there was a life in need of saving, and he would do his best to not let someone die on his watch.
