Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A letter was sent out to all Academy Students, inside each one were details of a class being taught at the academy. The most information a student would be able to gather from it, would be the location: the Aurora Eruditio (no room given) and what kind of class it would be. Each student was expected to be at the academy by noon, and any tardies would have points deducted from their overall score. With the letters sent, Kyodo Tesaki -- who would be their teacher for the day -- was already on her way, thinking about what she would do to torture teach these kids about the glory of combat.

As usual, her outfit consisted o short shorts and a bikini top, with all of the summoning seals on her body showing. Upon reaching the Eruditio, she quickly pulled out a piece of paper and scribbled the words "Combat 101" onto it's surface, before taping it to her stomach. With that done, she would stand in front of the building's main entrance and wait for any kiddies who decided to come. After all, why would she reserve a classroom with what she planned to do today? Sadly, even though there was only about half an hour till noon, Kumo's usual cold weather plagued its citizens. The wind blew through Tesa's long hair, causing it to thrash about wildly. The paper taped to her stomach was having troubles staying as well, but if the children followed the instructions given, maybe she wouldn't have to deal with the wind for much longer?
OOC: Short intro post, but should work for now. I'll wait three days before I make the next post, any students will be allowed to join within that time. Should anyone decide to join late, that'll be one strike, posting late is one strike as well. If you receive three strikes, you'll fail the class, but will be allowed to complete it. That's about it I believe, so let's get this started :D

Today was a special day in his life, or so he believed it to be. His recent encounters of his new life within Kumogakure had somehow been fascinating. It had chased away all inhibitions he would have had about continuing this path, though there was still some hesitation lingering within him since he was, after all, the stubborn kid that he was. In any case, he had received notification that a class would soon begin and he had made certain to come. He needed to belong. He needed to take control of the direction where his life would bring him. This was the only way, he had come to believe.

Without further ado, he slipped into his gear with his trademark green jacket and left his apartment– of which he’ll still have to spend some time thinking if he should move out to a more affordable place. But that could wait for later.

As he hurried to the academy grounds, not wanting to be late for his first official class, he couldn’t help but feel a bit worried. After all, the location was rather odd. There was no specific location aside from the school, and perhaps it was because of that that he figured coming early was good so he could search the entire building for the room they would be in. Though he was wary of perhaps intruding into the wrong class.

He sighed, “Wish the instructor specified the place.”

Just as he was rounding up the corner and the academy came into view, his eyes caught sight of a rather familiar face. Well, it was hard not to notice the horns, and the obvious lack of clothing for the weather of Kumogakure. ‘Oh boy’– he thought with a smirk as he came to a stop just at the entrance of the academy, and pretty much in front of her.

And before he could speak, his eyes found the written note on a piece of paper that was placed on her stomach. He knew it. His hunch was correct and he felt a little awkward waving at the person he had met not long ago at the Vespasian Colosseum.

“Hi… again….” he said awkwardly before he took off his jacket, leaving just his white shirt to clothe him, and reached it out towards the latter, of course forgetting etiquette and not really out of ill-intent but genuine concern (or perhaps, whatever chivalric attitude he’d learned from those people back in the port town had resurface), “I know you’re strong, but I can’t help be worried you’d catch a cold dressing up like this all the time.”

After all, while he may be a kid raised in a port town, he was used to jumping into frigid waters if needed be, and battling gales and storms where it could get cold to force you to clench your fists till the whites of your knuckles begin to turn red from the biting cold. But then, just as he was giving the jacket, he felt the heat that emanated from her and he remembered. So he quickly went to wear his jacket again. "Oh right, forgot. So sorry. It still looks like you're gonna get a cold though."

Nervous. Yes, that was the word. Takeo wasn’t used to feeling nervous. Wary, yes. He was always wary when he was out and about after dark, or when he was home with his uncle; both presented exceptional physical danger. These nerves, though… these were different. He hadn’t been to the Academy in three months. His training at the Colosseum had consumed his days, and his nights were spent tending to his newest injuries and praying to survive to return to Shinbatsu’s Path the next morning. Would he be able to keep up with his classmates? Would he be singled out for his truancy? Would anyone even remember who he was? Ah well…

Takeo couldn’t remember who had once said that bravery was not the absence of fear, but being full of it and doing the right thing anyway. Whoever it was, their words steeled him and drove him onward to the building where he would shed blood, sweat, and tears -- eh, no… He would not shed tears. He would not show weakness. There was too much at stake for him to give in to the primal urge to cry out at pain, to relinquish his senses to the misery that was sure to come. He owed himself that much.

So it was that Raikou Takeo climbed the steps in front of the Academy clad in a pair of worn, dirty sneakers, faded blue jeans, and a plain, grey hoodie at least one size too big for him. The instructions he had received hadn’t specified a room, but he figured he would find his way somehow. Besides, how hard could it be to find a Combat 101 class? It was probably in a training room, or over in the practice yards, or ----

”Son of a bitch…” He muttered under his breath at the sight before him. Some sort of demon-woman covered in seals and sporting a pair of horns was standing boldly in front of the Academy wearing a hand-made sign reading “Combat 101”, and little else. The rest of the village was wrapped up against the biting cold of what Kumogakure claimed was “Spring”, and this chick was chilling out in a micro-mini skirt and a bikini top. Granted, Takeo was more than a little intrigued by the comely, scantily-clad young woman; but seriously?

Takeo approached with caution, his hands in his hoodie pocket for more than just keeping them warm. He was also strapping on a pair of fingerless, leather gloves in case this was going to become a “practical” class in a hurry. In the meantime, he also gave his classmate a once-over. He seemed normal enough; average height and weight for someone around Takeo’s age, though Takeo might’ve been just a hair shorter. Whoever he was, he seemed to be just as uncomfortable around the instructor-apparent; although, he was making the effort of having some sort of conversation with her.

As Takeo approached, he gave a short bow (really more of a jerk of the neck than anything) in greeting. ”Hey, I’m Raikou Takeo. Here for the combat class?” He said to no one in particular. The question was stupid, and he knew it. The improvised sign taped to the woman’s stomach was a clear indicator that this was the proper class. He had asked the question to gauge his audience. The way the instructor replied would indicate how the class would progress; and the way his classmate replied would determine whether or not he had a friendly and cooperative disposition, or was going to be more of a loner or a downright saboteur. Either way, he was there, and with plenty of time to spare.

The teenage girl blinked up at the white ceiling of her current prison, that's how she thought of it at least. To young to do what she wanted and subject to the whims of those older than her. With a soft sigh she rolled to her side and picked up the letter once again and just looked at it as she shook her head at how unhelpful it was, she was aware however that if she didn't at least attempt to pass through the academy and attend some classes she'd be stuck there for a long time.

She gets herself up and dressed as she watches the clock, eleven forty-five but she was in no way rushing to get there despite the instructions. She brushed and tied up her hair into the loose twin-tails she was known for and after a quick glance out of the window decided to wear just a simple red shirt with a black skirt and a grey jacket over the top, she'd lived here long enough and the cold didn't bother her anyway.

Grabbing a small milk carton out of her mini fridge before exiting the tiny student accommodation, stabbing a straw into the beverage and walking casually toward the front of the Aurora Eruditio, it was fortunate that she lived so close otherwise she probably would have ended up being rather late to the meeting, still having no clear indication of where she needed to be irked her a little.

As she came to the front doors she glanced up and spotted what looked to be two other students, males, in the company of what could only be described as... anyway she continued up attempting to ignore the possible underage prostitution happening right in front of the academy of all places. She was quickly brought to a halt as she got closer, noticing the sign taped to the woman and she just glared at it. She then looked down slightly at the woman's thighs before bringing her gaze up to meet to woman's own eyes with her cold gray hues and with a face solid as stone spoke. "I don't think we're all going to fit in there, miss." Her gaze continued toward the woman, unblinking.

Takeshi Eiji

Takeshi pulled on the final pieces of his combat suit: the gloves. Familiar with the process at this point, having done it many times, the mouths on his hands closed fully, only opening once the opening in the palm of the glove was right above them. The mouths on his hands resumed their sharp-toothed grin for but a moment, his left hand making a snarling sound which the other responded to in turn. Takeshi ignored the two in their brief and weird conversation, if it could be called that, as he grabbed his helmet. He walked to his bed, having noticed something sticking out from underneath: one of his many ero-mangas. He swiftly kicked it under, tugging on the cover a bit before exiting his room then eventually his residence, having grabbed an apple on his way out.

He kept his helmet under his arm as he walked, bringing the apple to his lips every few seconds to take a bite. His palms, as always, kept their mouths closed when there was stuff in his hands: they usually went into a sick-like state for a few days upon having anything but clay, they'd found far in the past. So, luckily, Takeshi didn't have to worry about any randomly missing apple bits. As the boy walked, he couldn't help but feel it was too early, even at noon, for his first class. He'd only just turned 8, and Tesa had informed him of a class she'd be teaching that day. It only seemed a little too much a coincidence. Here we are with thinking she's out to get us. Again. Takeshi rolled his eyes at this. It's not that! I just think that of course, my first teacher would be a clansman. EVEN IF I'd been trained since I could walk by Kyodo. Yea, sure. A small chuckle came from the boy. Reading his thoughts in a way, the mouth-hand that held the apple started making a bit of clay, hardening the tip and shoving it into the half-finished apple. Takeshi threw the apple high up into the air and kept walking, not looking back even as an explosion was heard and the ground behind him was littered with blackened apple.

After another eye roll, and a few good more minutes, Takeshi was coming upon the entrance to the Academy. Standing outside were four distinct figures - Tesa and her horns, that one kid he'd met before, and two others, male and female, that he did not yet know. None of them - except maybe the unknown male (Takeo) - seemed especially ready for any physical activity. Especially the girl. What's with women and skirts and little clothing in this weather. Let's not even try to understand, Eiji. Agreed, brother.

"I don't think we're all going to fit in there, miss." Takeshi hear the girl say after she glanced between Tesa's thighs.

Takeshi's cheeks balloon'd and his hand went to cover his mouth as he immediately struggled to contain his laughter at the girl's words - and the best part, to him, was that she looked so SERIOUS while saying it. Eiji mentally roared with laughter, while Takeshi struggled to regain some semblance of composure. I'd be up to try fitting in there, though I'd be too large, I think. Of course, Takeshi had to hit the horned woman with a dirty joke as well - the difference between him and other eight year old children was incredibly noticeable, aye?

Wassup, Tesa, he greeted her with a friendly wave while his lips were quirked in dirty-minded amusement. And..... Nanette, right? He looked to the familiar boy, slight confusion already replacing his amusement as he thought about names and faces for a moment.

Tesaki Masuta

The first arrival was not only a surprise, but a slight disappointment. Nanette was unable to give proper greetings, but he was able to be the first one to show at what was sure to be the best class of the damn day. Not even after all of the discipline he was given just the other day was he able to give his sensei a bow! Just before she could start chewing the kid out, another boy came up. Maybe this one would show Nanette what's u-- Nope, bastard just jerked his neck and went straight for his classmate... Maybe this class would have to turn into "Etiquette 101" instead? Were all kids this way nowadays? For now, she would simply ignore the both of them as they became friends. Maybe their friendship would beneficial? Not so long after those two arrived and had a bit of small talk, a more promising student began approaching. Just like the other two, the lack of a location on the letter seemed to irritate, or at least confuse her. But she was dressed up all nice, and seemed respectful enough. But the key word there, was seemed. She may have given her a greeting of sorts, but it was far from proper, and did nothing but insult her. The saddest part was, she couldn't tell whether she was being called a whore or inexperienced... Worse yet, she wasn't about to lash out at a child. Was this what all that training they went through really for? Discipline was apparently the most important virtue a shinobi could have now...

"Say something witty, quick! Don't be out done by a child, you'll embarrass us both.

"Just wait, and I'll prove you wrong kid." Fuck! How in the hell was that supposed to help her case at all? Even if she wasn't being called a slut, she would be now. Worse yet, that little shit Take decided to come too. Sure, she invited him, but usually he did the opposite of what he was told. Maybe she shouldn't have invited him to as easy a class as "Combat 101." No matter, four was plenty to start the class, and she didn't want anymore disrespectful children coming along and insulting her even more.

"Alright, we seem to have enough people now. So let's get this started! I hope you've all made yourselves comfortable, cause we're going on a field trip to one of the deadliest places in kumo... The forest! It may not seem like it at first glance, but I dare you to go too far in. You probably wont be coming back out with your current skills. But hey, that's why we're all here today." The chuunin ripped the makeshift sign from her stomach, letting it fly away in the wind as she gave each student a quick stare. "I'll give you all a couple of minutes to acquaint yourselves, then you'll be introducing yourselves to me before we head out. I expect you all to bow as you should, and refer to me as Kyodo-sensei before you state your name and age." Hopefully, all of the little kiddies would already know that following orders is the number one rule of combat. So if they couldn't follow an order as simple as that, she would have to make sure they never forgot the rule again.

After giving the students a couple of minutes to mingle, she would stomp whistle in an attempt to get their attention. "Alright, times up. Now, one at a time, tell me each your name and age. Then maybe throw in some crap about your goals in life or something, I don't know.
OOC: I decided to post early since the only other person I notified decided not to join. I kinda doubt anyone else will join either, so let's get it started! Same as before, you've all got three days to post before your time is up. Feel free to add a paragraph or two of your character talking with other students, or insulting Tesa some more... And if you all post before the three days are up, I will most likely post early again.

It didn’t take long before more students arrived. One boy, who seemed to be around his age, seemed a little too daunting. Perhaps he was used to this sort of things. Perhaps he had been in the academy far longer than Nanashi. If so, Nanashi will just have to use his wits about and try not to show too much of his novice-ness. The other student was a girl, whom easily from the get-go, struck as an unexpected individual. Even if he wasn’t sure of what the girl meant about that comment to the teacher, he was certain it didn’t sound all too well. Well, he didn’t really know much so he just kept quiet.

“I don’t think a person can actually fit there,” he did ended up saying as he quickly turned back to the youth who had greeted him first, or so he thought he was being greeted seeing he was the only other one in the area when the boy arrived. “Yeah, though I don’t know what kind of class I’m supposed to expect though. I’m Nanashi,” he added as he raised a hand to the other, though awkwardly before he realised that maybe shaking hands wasn’t the other’s thing.

In any case, he stopped shortly before he heard a rather annoying, if not familiar voice that boomed. He didn’t have to turn and see who it was for their most recent encounter with each other somehow cemented the memory quite well. Rambunctious as ever.

Of course, he didn’t lose the chance to glare at him as he spoke with much acidity in his tone, “It’s NANASHI. Blockhead! Get it? Block… head… block cause you make blocks with clay and stuff?” If there’s anything embarrassing about Nanashi, it was there would always be moments when he would want to act badass but his awkward upbringing left him with little experience and gift of tongue to actually make a proper insult, or praise, that they often left him looking like an improbable guy. And so, he stammered again, “I-I mean… you know. Remember my name, already. Sheesh.”

And just like that, their class would seem to begin as their teacher, Kyodo-sensei gave a brief introduction and told them to do the same. Whether or not she was serious about what they needed to speak, he didn’t really know. He simply went ahead and said, “Yoru Nanashi. Thirteen. I don’t have anything crappy to talk about and I think my goal is just to live.” And he did so with a rather serious tone and pretty determined expression.

Takeshi Eiji

"Just wait, and I'll prove you wrong, kid."

Good god, how large is her.... I no longer want to know. Takeshi mentally shivered. That seemed so incredibly.... Off-putting. The boy switched which arm his smooth black helmet was under, to his left arm, freeing up his right. His maroon eyes flicked to Nanette as he spoke, sounding oh-so-innocent. He's a normal one, alright. Takeshi, everyone is normal compared to us. Mmm, quite true, brother. The duo mentally chuckled, before they both quieted as Nanashi - as they had been corrected - turned to them.

Slight amusement flickered across the boy's dark eyes, though his lips were set in a frown. Such an insulting word, even if it was an incredibly lame insult. Takeshi brought his free hand up, making sure everyone (especially the new kids) got a good look at his palm, where a rather demonic mouth was set, it's freakishly long tongue slithering out and dripping saliva (though noticeably getting not a drop on Takeshi's combat suit).

He waited until Nanashi was finished introducing himself before engaging: Blocks. The mouth closed, and seemed to be chewing something for a mere second, before suddenly shooting a small, black clay sphere at Nanashi's chest. If it were to make contact, it would of course explode, but not large enough to harm. A very large bruise and some bleeding, at the least. If it missed, it would sail harmlessly for a few seconds before detonating.

After dealing with that, Takeshi turned back to Tesa, his demeanor shifting as the class formally started. He was incredibly used to combat training and the proper etiquette a student showed his teacher upon the beginning of a lesson. Being a Kyodo, he was trained since he could walk. No wonder he was stronger than others when they started in the Academy. His right hand made a fist, moving it over his heart and bowing at the waist. Kyodo Takeshi. Eight years of age. As he started to straighten, he finished, eyes locking with Tesa's: I am to become Zentai.

Takeshi and Eiji switched places, Takeshi taking the background while Eiji controlled the body. The sclera of his eyes turned black, as did his fingernails, while his voice doubled, one sounding much deeper than the other.

Eiji bent down and dropped the helmet on the ground swiftly, hands moving to form the Ram Hand-Seal. He bent at the waist, a tad lower than Takeshi had. Kyodo Eiji. Eight years of age. Same as Takeshi, he straightened and locked eyes with Tesa. I am to become Zentai.

Rin and Yu received the class notice from their mother and was sent on their way with their backpacks packed. It wasn't noon just yet, and the boys were too use to training at home. They needed a change of scenery and opportunity to meet new people. Their greatest lessons would come from lessons learned through experience and today was the perfect day to gain experience even if they didn't need the teaching.

The Tsuyoshi twins were one of a kind. Trained by and sons of a leading medical chief and powerful hyuuga. In addition, they were surrounded with greatness as their older brother was a genius in the ANBU branch, and their uncle was trained by the previous Raikage. For now, their mother Karin and their fathers feline companions monitored the children's training carefully until Junkos return. Little did the twins know, demon energy flowed dormant within them due to their Junko having the "good" entity of the blood demon king within him and the "bad" entity of the demon sealed away in his blade. They would seem like the average kids, but in reality they were much more.

Adjusting his glasses as he walked behind Rin up the stairs, Yu could feel a knot in his stomach, but he tried to focus on the book he was reading instead. He was rather gentle and enjoyed training, but he never attended a real class. He didn't know what to expect really. Meanwhile, Rin had a somewhat displeased look upon his face, as if the grinch stole his Christmas. Rin just didn't like training and would be willing to make a run for it, but he knew his dad's feline companions were keeping an eye on them during this class and getting away would be futile. So, it was best to cooperate or he'd surely be embarrassed. He would rather be sleeping.

Walking towards the group, Chatter flowed.
"Well, introductions have already started." Rin said with a sigh. The group consisted of several guys and one female. Well, two females if you count the half naked teacher with freakishly large horns coming from her head. It was actually average seeing weird things for the twins, so it was no big deal. Once you've gotten use to talking felines that know martial arts, crazy things stop surprising you.

"Kyodo Eiji. Eight years of age. I am to become Zentai."

Letting the weird guy finish his over the top introduction. Rin cut in. "Hi, Tsuyoshi Rintaro and I'm here for the combat class. I like sleeping and... More sleeping. Nice to meet you." Rin said with a rather disinterested demeanor with his hands in his pockets.

Immediately closing his book, Yu shook his head.
"Sorry for my brother. Hello, my name is Tsuyoshi Yutaro. I enjoy training and reading. Nice to meet you sensei." Yu said nervously as he stood by the young girl in the class. She seemed nice and the most normal along with the guy in the green jacket. He felt quite weird calling someone sensei. Especially since he was usually taught by his mother and father. Looking at the class, it would surely be interesting. It was a possibility that the twins could be seen as the weakest of the bunch. Only time would tell. Until then, Yu went back to his book.

In the recent days, Shigeru had heard mutterings of a new teacher who had a bit of a demon in her. This thought intrigued and worried Shigeru, for he wanted all teachers of the Academy to be ones who would nourish the future of the village. Had anyone even vetted this demon-lady before she had begun to shape the future? Who even were the Kyodo, and why was a clan so shrouded in mystery even allowed to participate in the village as a whole? With these thoughts in his mind, Shigeru looked out for the first chance he could get to meet this new lady-teacher, and the opportunity jumped at him when he heard of a planned combat class; Shigeru planned on being there.

Readying himself consisted of donning some combat pants and strapping his lute to his back. Shigeru’s bare chest proudly displayed his two new tattoos that appeared to be alive as they wriggled under his skin. Proudly, Shigeru walked out into the open streets of Kumogakure, the steam beginning to rise off his flaming skin. As if to protect him, a cloak of pure fire poured from Shigeru’s shoulders and fell down to the ground. Though it looked menacing, neither pants, lute, flesh, or ground was burnt due to the flames; Shigeru was in complete control of his Flame once more. Though his outfit drew many glances, Shigeru was well known on the streets of Kumo as a shinobi, and the people that he passed greeted him warmly. It was a great feeling to be a functioning member of the village again. Though these new tattoos had some side effects, overall they had made Shigeru’s life much better. Just the ability to use jutsu again without your very own chakra fighting you was a godsend, cool cloaks of flame that were easily controlled were just a bonus.

Walking up to the entrance to the Academy, Shigeru noticed a group of children led by one barely-clothed woman gathered right outside. This strange ‘classroom’ would be something that a new teacher would definitely use, especially for a combat class, so Shigeru assumed that this must be the class. Unstrapping his lute from his back, Shigeru approached the group at a leisurely pace and began to sing, his eyes mainly focused on the woman, a most appealing sight.

“I have heard a tale,
Of a woman who may have a small tail,
She has the horns on her head,
And beauty that could not have been bred,
And her name has a mysterious lure.”

Shigeru was a sight to behold as he walked up to a group. His bare chest was radiating heat and the very air turned to steam as it touched him, and his two tattoos appeared to dance under his skin to the beat. In his hands was a beautiful mahogany lute that was being played with great expertise, and a voice that was not too shabby either. This package was all wrapped up in a cloak that was made out of pure flame that twirled and flittered as Shigeru continued to sing. With a glance at the kids around him, Shigeru had hoped to make a lasting impression on all of them, as he had not had the pleasure of meeting any of them before. However, the brief pause was over, and the song had to continue.

“My name is Shimatsu Shigeru,
I hope that my flames do not scare you,
I’m a shinobi of Cloud,
And I’m here to help out,
I hope that your beauty is not angered.”

With a small flourish, Shigeru gave a bow and holstered the lute once more. Though his presence probably would have angered the woman, Shigeru hoped that it would not have that exact effect. Looking her up and down, Shigeru could not help but be drawn in by her evident beauty, but he was wary of such a front; most respectable people covered up their bodies when teaching children. However, it was nice to meet another who could weather the cold of Kumogakure with little more than a loincloth. That was something that Shigeru could respect. After a brief moment of awkward silence, Shigeru broke into a grin and gave a hoop of laughter. “I know this is unconventional miss, but I am a long-time teacher at this very Academy, and I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind a little help with your class.” Hopefully this would come across as genuine, because that is how Shigeru meant it. Though, he knew that his intrusion could go quite bad if the woman did take offense.

’Just how does she plan on proving her wrong, exactly?” Takeo thought incredulously, his eye twitching as he struggled to hold back uncontrollable laughter at their sensei’s poor attempt at a comeback to the female student’s joke. Speaking of the females present; did neither of them even feel the cold? Dear Raiden! What wouldn’t women do to be fashionable?

Another student approached wearing a high-tech looking full-body suit, spitting out a dirty quip as he approached. Don’t get me wrong, Takeo is no prude, but he didn’t have the gall to so flippantly make sexual innuendos to their sensei. Granted, it did appear that the newcomer knew both the sensei and the other male student as well.

They were instructed to acquaint themselves with one another, and the first student to arrive was quick to offer his name, Nanashi, and a handshake. Takeo wasn’t used to shaking people’s hands, but reciprocated the gesture anyway. ”Nice to meet you, Nanashi.” Shortly thereafter, the kid in the combat suit called out to Takeo’s newfound friend, giving a feminine spin to his name much to Nanashi’s chagrin. The boy snapped out at the teaser, trying to come up with some sort of comeback and failing miserably.

What happened next was one of the strangest things Takeo had ever seen. The boy in the combat suit raised his hand, exposing a disgusting looking mouth situated in the center of his palm. The vile thing appeared to chew on something for a moment before spitting a small black ball at Nanashi. Without any hesitation, Takeo stepped in front of the boy and took the shot straight to the chest. He didn’t know the thing was going to explode! It blew the front of his hoodie completely apart, exposing his torso to the elements and revealing a large bruise and a bleeding pressure cut caused by the detonation of the little ball of clay. But that wasn’t all it exposed.

Scars. Takeo’s entire chest was covered in them; ugly round patches that were once burns, uncountable cuts and scraped both small and large, some freshly healed, others old and trying to fade. The boy was thin, almost what you would consider gaunt. His ribs were visible through his skin, but so were his taught, wiry muscles. He was lean like a wolf who had barely survived a long, hard winter, but became immeasurably strong for it. The explosion hadn’t even phased him. He didn’t stumble back in surprise, didn’t cry out in shock, he didn’t even flinch. Takeo stood there with his gloved-fists clenched and his cold eyes glaring at the boy in the combat suit.

That was it. He was done. Done with putting up with the bullshit of people who thought they could just push around whoever they wanted just because they were bigger and stronger than them, or thought they were somehow better. He had been taking that sort of cruelty from his uncle for years; he wasn’t about to let some little punk start a new cycle of abuse on someone else. He could feel years of pent-up rage burning in his chest, but that wasn’t all that was happening there.

The bleeding in the center of the bruise had clotted quickly, and the resulting scab had just fallen off, revealing a fresh little scar [Thick Blood]. The corona of bruise around where the cut had been was changing color from bright red, to black and blue, to green and yellow, shrinking all the while before disappearing completely [Healing Factor]. It should have taken days for a bruise like that to heal; but for Takeo, someone so well acquainted with pain and injury, it took only seconds.

Takeo’s glare continued to burn into Takeshi as he bowed and introduced himself to the sensei no once, but twice; normal at first, but then sinisterly dark. Takeo didn’t care what kind of monster this Takeshi was, he wouldn’t let him walk all over any of his other classmates. Speaking of which, more and more seemed to be showing up. First a fairly young pair of brothers, Rintaro and Yutaro, followed by someone Takeo knew quite well.

The man wreathed in flames who approached singing a madrigal and playing a lute was another sensei at the Academy, and had shared a small hare with him once over a fire this past winter. He and Takeo had bonded over their desire to protect the village and the people in it. It appeared he was here to observe the class, and Takeo was thankful for that. Raiden knows what sort of things this demon-woman was going to “teach” them in the forest. Feeling like now was as good a time as any, Takeo bowed to their sensei and introduced himself.

”I am Raikou Takeo. I am 12 years old and,’ he turned his steely gaze back to Takeshi, ”I don’t like bullies.”

Seems despite her lack of haste, she wouldn't be the final student to turn up to the class, at least this meant there were more people for the strange demonic woman to focus on instead of bothering her to much. Speaking of the teacher, it seems she was either caught off guard by the comment or simply had little in the way of wit and her response made Shinku chuckle in her mind though her exterior remained emotionless as she continued to listen to the instructions given. "I'll just take your word on how cavernous you happen to be, miss. Anymore would be quite inappropriate for a class I think."

One thing that had been a relief thus far was how normal each of the students seemed to be, some even knowing one another from past meetings, she even found the twins to be rather cute, they'd always intrigued her and in reality wishes she had another... her to talk to. For the moment however she would refrain from joining in the conversations, she wasn't the kind of girl to just start up a conversation with a bunch of perfect strangers, especially those with mouths on their hands... "wait, what?" She said to herself in her head as she examined the strange physical deformity, worse still the mouth which was apparently chewing on something proceeded to spit whatever the substance was toward the boy named Nanashi.

As quickly as it happened another boy, Takeo, stepped in to intercept the "projectile" and upon colliding with his chest it proceeded to explode. Her eyes went wide at the sight, just what kind of idiot uses explosive material to simply play with especially against someone who in her eyes was a normal boy who hadn't provoked him in any way. Then as she saw the damage it had dealt she started to get angry, this was just the kind of bullshit that went on in the orphanage, bigger kids bullying others who seemed weak or unwilling to fight back, then she'd get punished for fighting back for them.

Much as the boy who had moved sharply to take the attack head on, Shinku moved in much the same way, but she came to stop face to face with the culprit of the attack, so close in fact that their noses touched. Her cold gray eyes pierced his and even as her face remained stone her eyes glistened with inner rage. "Shinku, just Shinku. Thirteen and I really dislike freaky little assholes who think their name, status or whatever means they can get away with whatever they please." She spat venomously through her monotone tones and stood her ground unshakably before this freak, focused so much on him and her own anger that she didn't even notice the singing teacher coming up and conversing with miss roomy womb.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck! It was bad enough that her immediate reaction was to throw out a crappy insult, but the kids kept insulting her by playing off of the response. Even Nanette managed to say something that sounded like an insult! It was damn disgraceful, but she would most likely have a way to make up for such an embarrassing act later in the class. The first introduction she received, which came as no surprise due to the discipline she had give him the other day, was from Nanette. From what she could tell, he was the most passive, or at leas the most docile of the students who had arrived. One of the things he did leave out however, was the bow. "Close enough, and I suppose that's a pretty good goal to have." Living... It may not mean he'll become something great, but maybe she can expect the kid to survive for a while with that kind of determination?

Soon after his introduction, the little punk from her clan decided he needed to enact his revenge upon the boy who failed to insult him before. To do so, he showed off his Toujigikou bloodline and trying to blow up poor Nanette again. You'd think he'd gotten his fill when they met him recently, but apparently that bastard was ruthless. Surprisingly enough, kid #2 jumped in the way of the bomb just in time and saved wittle Nanette's chest, at the price of revealing his own battle scars, as well as his strange healing ability. Immediately after he was done doing his thing, Take turned to her and bowed -- as he was supposed to -- before stating something that only irritated his superior. Silly boy thought he could be regarded as a Zentai with that attitude? If he wasn't dead before leaving the academy, he probably wouldn't be sane enough to survive in the shinobi world. No matter how much training he was given by the Kyodo. Before she could humor the poor bastard, two cute little twins came up and did their introductions immediately. Each one forgot to bow, but they at least knew to introduce themselves when they approach their sensei. "Nice to meet the both of you. Rin, sleeping is always fun. And Yu, keep up with that. It'll get you far in life." The girl did not hesitate to give each of them a nick name so that she could remember names easier, and she gave each of them a small smile. Maybe they would be sane enough to keep her sane throughout this class.

The sound of music soon filled the air after those introductions were done, and yet another strange and unexpected sight came into sight. Some bare chested man was approaching the group, singing something about how she might have a tail, and how she's beautiful. Perhaps if this were a fairy tale, such things being said would flatter her. But there were just far too many things going on for her to be anything but confused by the bard. As he came a bit closer, she noticed that the cloak on his back was made of flames. This too, may have been enough to impress her if she was not from the shinobi world. What was happening in the class didn't even seem to faze the man, but before she could listen to anymore of his.. Intriguing song, she would have to handle things herself. By the time she decided to take action, dumb ass #1 had already gotten himself into quite the predicament. He'd injured one student, and at least two we're silently threatening to harm or kill him. She would have no problem with it, but what would be the point in letting some young kids get themselves' a free trip to jail just to get back at someone as petty as him?

Tesa approached Shinku and Take, both of which were still nose to nose, and quickly struck Take in the head before either of them could take action. Right after hitting the boy, she grabbed him by the shoulder and threw him to the stairs behind them. "Alright, I'm sure we all know by now that kid's an asshole, but why don't we all wait until the class is started yeah? This is a combat class after all, what would a combat class be without hands on training?" The kunoichi gave a wink to the two offended shinobi before turning back to this "Shimatsu Shigeru," who was likely waiting on a reply from her.

"Thanks for the offer Shigs, but I think I've got this under control. If you want to watch though, be my guest.. We're heading to the forest next." With that taken care of, she would turn to the rest of the class, hoping that no one has killed each other yet. She glanced at the watch on her wrist, and then back up to her students, "Okay, it's noon. First part of this class will be running to the forest. I'll be sure to move slow so you can all keep up, just don't go running away... That'll get you killed when you do become a shinobi." Maybe the ever present threat of death would keep these wild children in check, but there was no telling what the hell they would do on the way to the spot she had in mind. "I know it's quite the distance, but you'll be running much farther soon enough. Take, get your ass up and stay in the front with me. You're not going to cause any more problems for your classmates, or I'm failing you and sending you back to your dorm."

OOC: Go ahead and post all of your exits while I make the second thread in the forest. At this point, you're free to mingle (if you want to call it that anymore) on your way out. I'm going to put the link to the second thread on skype for most of you, and let anyone who isn't on skype know via PM. Just like before, you all have three days to reply, and that applies to both posts.

Just getting back to his book after kindly greeting their sensei, Yutaro could smell that Something detonated in the air like a paper bomb. Shocked, Yu immediately looked at his brother to make sure everything was okay. Surprisingly, the lazy ass was laying on the ground already staring at the human torch practically screaming "Flame On!"

Picking his ear, Rin already seemed annoyed. He already didn't want to be here and now a weird bully of some sort was already causing trouble, but it wasn't with his brother, so why care ya know? Anyways, listening to the recent chain of events go down, it would've been the perfect opening to make his escape from the class.
"Damn it." Rin mumbled plucking a pebble towards the walking torch. It would skip several times before it would come in contact with his cloak. It would be interesting to see if something burned. Maybe, he could burn the teacher for having class today, but the goodie too-shoe was a teacher himself and wanted to give a helping hand.

Anyways, as the smoke cleared, the boy hit with the bomb had a pretty bad injury. Closing his book, Yu held one hand behind his back and began accumulating chakra that radiated a green glow. It was the mystical hand technique. A jutsu meant for healing and one of the first jutsus he learned with his dad as he followed him around the hospital delivering first-aid to the many people of kumogakure. Astonishingly, the boy didn't need Yutaros help because he was already healing on his own. Yu's chakra flow in his hand slowly slowed and the green glow faded.

"I am Raikou Takeo. I am 12 years old and, I don’t like bullies.”

Yutaro smiled as he looked at Takeo. He reminded him of his brother a bit. His brother protected him the same way and despised bullies. In fact, if places were switched, this would be the part where Rin begins kicking ass like he did to the bullies at the playground. Instead, the seemingly normal girl was about to begin the ass kicking as she was face-to-face, nose-to-nose, and breath-to-breath with the bully spitting firry words meant to burn hotter than the new teachers cloak.

Luckily, sensei immediately stopped the situation with a swift punch to the trouble makers head. Throwing him to the stairs, the twins couldn't help but smile. Their mother would've did the same or hit a pressure point causing them to fall to the ground, leaving them there for an hour to think about the trouble they've caused.

"Alright, I'm sure we all know by now that kid's an asshole, but why don't we all wait until the class is started yeah? This is a combat class after all, what would a combat class be without hands on training?"

"Yes Mam, I agree." Yu said said giving her a gentle smile.

"Teh." Rin responded with laziness. If matter wasn't worst, she gave orders to jog all the way to the damn forest. She must've thought he was Forest Gump or a damn track star. "I'm out of here." Rintaro mumbled making a break for it. Hopping to his feet, he sprinted with all his might. Feeling the wind through his hair, his heart pounding, and blood flowing Rin immediately came to a stop as he reached the stairs. "Shit... I'm tired. I better just jog with them." Rintaro said shaking his head.

Face palming at his brother, Yu laughed. As he walked over to his brother.
"It's okay brother. Let's go. Besides, you would've been caught anyways." Yutaro said laughing, but spoke the truth. Analyzing their senseis speed, she was pretty quick. Likely a chuunin, close to a jounin. Plus, fathers feline companions observing them would've nabbed him in no time. "Shin...ku was it? That was ... Pretty cool what you did." Yutaro said taking off his backpack. Unzipping it and going through it for a few seconds, he grabbed a white T-shirt and threw it at the rather frail Takeo. "I look forward to this class with you guys. And.. Girl." Yu said nervously.

It was obvious that the boy went through a lot. Like his father did in his childhood stories that he told them. No sympathy would be shown though, the twins knew that his struggle have and only would continue to make him stronger.
"Let's get a move on. Shall we?" Rin said beginning to jog.

"I hope you're ready." Yu said following his brother.

Before Nanashi could react, the stupid clay-explosive-totting-boy had once again thrown another bomb his way (he can’t really remember how many that would make since their initial encounter), and right there and then, the other youth had suddenly got in between him and the projectile right as it exploded. Nanashi was worried at the other, even if he seemed to have some amazing ability to heal fast. After all, he didn’t like the concept of beating people up just because one could. And a lingering voice in the back of his mind cursed at him to acquiescing to his Old Man’s decision to come to the academy. ’If only the Old Man knew how dangerous this place is…’ he thought as he sighed.

And though the other girl in class had quickly come to the defensive, albeit easily sparking some sort of dangerous rivalry with Takeshi, Nanashi could only hope that this wouldn’t get in the way in their future prospects. He didn’t want to start his journey in this academy with enemies already. Heck, he was one step close to running away back to the port town and just be stubborn enough to insist on his Old Man that he should just be a fisherman all his life.

Things changed, however, as the appearance of two younger kids made the situation pretty much unpleasant. There was no way Nanashi was going to let Takeshi even think of bullying them as well. He had to step up, even if it meant putting himself in line of fire now, because big brothers are meant to protect the younger ones, after all.

“That’s it, if you have something against me, just settle it after class. Sheesh, such a brat,” he called at Takeshi as he took his jacket and gave it to Takeo even if the other boy, Yu had offered a shirt as well, “Thanks for that and I’m sorry you got hurt in my stead. Here, even if you’re strong, you still need to take more better care of yourself. Besides, I’m used to the cold somehow.”

He then looked at the twins, completely ignoring whatever Takeshi was spouting about or getting thrown by the teacher. He gave a warm smile as he spoke to Yu, “Looks like you brothers are quite used to seeing these things, huh? Well, I may not be much but I’ll make sure that fool doesn’t get you two hurt in the process as well, so don’t get swayed by his weird animosity-feeding ego. Though now that I see it, you both might as well be stronger than me. Haha…” He chuckled as he ended thinking that ’cripes, everyone in this class may as well be prepared for the worst while I’m just a simple fisherman’s kid who was sent here. What the hell?! This is so unfair!’

Still, the class would move on and he was glad that there was another person who appeared, albeit in a flashy and almost embarrassing way, but he seemed to have the authority to intervene in case something unwanted happened. Guess he could rest easy. Or not. Tesaki’s tone with addressing the class somehow foreshown a dangerous experience, even if it’s for her entertainment. Still, this was quite the interesting day as it unfolded.

’To live, huh? Yeah, hopefully,’ he sighed at thinking back his random answer earlier before. “Takeo, Shinku, let’s get going as well, ne?” Without further ado, he would begin to run towards the forest. After all, so far as his experience in Kumo was showing, he’d been running about and seems to be good at it. Though running towards the cliff and jumping into the sea was a much brighter prospect than this

Topic Left with the class.

The selfless actions of others never ceased to amaze him. No sooner had he stepped in the way of that small explosive sphere than the rest of the class came to Nanashi’s defense. Shinku leapt into action, going face-to-face with the culprit and giving him a good tongue lashing, with the threat of it becoming a physical altercation in short order. Were it not for their sensei knocking Takeshi on his ass and offering the class the chance at sanctioned vigilante justice, things might’ve turned ugly very quickly.

Yutaro also seemed to have been poised to do something. The boy had hidden his hand behind his back and a green glow was emanating from it. Takeo had no way of knowing it was a healing jutsu, just that the boy had some sort of jutsu in the works before the situation, sort of, diffused. He even tossed Takeo a spare t-shirt from his backpack. ”Thank you.” Takeo said, pulling off the tattered remnants of his hoodie, exposing his equally scared back before pulling on the white undershirt. It was a little tight, but Takeo was grateful to have something between his skin and the biting wind.

Nanashi even offered the jacket off his own back. Takeo respectfully declined as he pulled his jacket back on. What was once a pull-over hoodie now resembled something like a jacket that would normally zip up the front sans a zipper. ”No, I couldn’t let you go cold on my account. I think my jacket will suffice until I can sew it back together. Besides,” he turned his eyes back to Takeshi, ”I believe there will be more incidents like this before the day is done.”

As the class began making its way towards the forest, Nanashi called for Takeo and Shinku to follow. Takeo looked over at Shinku and gave her a nod of acknowledgement; a silent communication of mutual respect. He then turned and loped after Nanashi and the rest of the class.

Takeshi Eiji

Takeshi took control of the body immediately after Eiji's introduction, the few changes reverting again. After that kid, Takia or some sort, took the explosion, Takeshi noticeably lost interest in them all, even ignoring the man wielding a lute and singing to Tesa. The cloak of flames was impressive, he granted, but it didn't really impress him as a nice explosion would. They were all simply...... Boring. "I don't like bullies." The boy rolled his eyes at that comment, returning the boy's glare with a chill stare and smirk. He wondered if the kid - who was a few years old - thought Takeshi actually cared how he was thought of. Eiji, as well, couldn't cop the barest amount of care, either, going as far as commenting to Takeshi. Was that meant to offend us?

Takeshi shrugged, physically, not noticing the girl walk up to him until her nose was poking his own. Takeshi kept an expressionless face as she stared into his eyes. Her breath kinda stank, though he didn't say so nor did he grimace in the disgust he felt. He briefly wondered if she felt "big and bad" until Tesa hit him across the head, causing one of his explosive discs to immediately form in his hand, the Chakra edges glowing dangerously. He kept hold of it tightly; his veins would be easily noticed had he not been wearing his suit.

The disc was still in his hand as he was thrown back into the stairs, though it seemed to be close to detonating in Takeshi's anger. His face twisted into anger, but it was soon back to its somewhat expressionless state as Eiji spoke some calming words to the boy. I'm the biggest asshole around, he commented, angry again. He got up, moving forward and taking his helmet up, the disc still clasped in his hand. His eyes flashed dangerously to Tesa. Problems will ensue if my "classmates" (he spit out the word, voice full of venom) don't annoy me. Fail me if you'd like, Tesaki. As he spoke, his voice continuously got angrier, until it was all he could do not to explode.

He shoved his helmet on, the disc never leaving his hand. At least, until he threw it far ahead of him. The disc made a considerably large explosion on impact with the ground, but before it had even kissed the floor, he was off sprinting, despite what Tesa had said about running off.

[Topic Left w/ class]

Her fists were clenched tight as her face was pressed against the ire of her anger, she hid her body taught and tall in front of the boy as she glared. He would be able to feel the slight coldness her skin seemed to hold against his, Shinku was used to this kind of situation at the odd feeling usually caused people to flinch even a little, but he wasn't going to attack just yet as there was no fun in that. She stood upon the balls of her feet as she readied to dodge whatever it was he would throw her way, not wanting to attack without being attacked herself first.

Her muscles were tensed up as she waited for the move, ready to react at a moments notice but when the time came it was not at all what she expected. The scantily dressed teacher had come up on them and simultaneously punched and threw the asshole away from her though her muscles were wound up to the point that upon the impact of the punch hitting his head she sprung back five feet before readying her stance up to re-enter the space with fist poised for an attack as she finally realised what had transpired. "Next time..." She muttered before turning to face away from where he had landed, trying to calm her nerves.

The compliment from the twins caught her off guard a little as she tried to de-cloud her mind. She'd never been called cool before, in fact she'd never been complimented or commended at all. She opened her mouth to say something but words just seemed to fail her and if her body even knew how to blush it would have, her thick cold skin however prevented such embarrassment. Instead she gave a bow of thanks toward them then turned to Takeo, she let her eyes linger on his for a moment before reciprocating with a nod of respect of her own.

With that she took off running to catch up with the teacher before she inevitably went after Takeshi. "If you don't stop me when the time comes, I will kill him. I don't wish to have that on my conscience if I can help it." speaking in the same monotone as previously and without giving her a chance to respond she dropped a dozen steps behind her so she could follow as fast as her untrained body could carry her.

Holy Shinbatsu! Shigeru had spent just a little too long oogling Tesa’s rare treasure chest and not enough time paying attention to the actual students of the class. Considering he wasn’t the one teaching, he didn’t have any particular reason to pay too much attention, but in his lapse tension rose and a boy he considered to be part of the future of Kumogakure, Raikou Takeo, was attacked by another one of the students. This was done by that young boy with mouths for hands who seemed to possess some kind of power over Explosion. What this boy could not possibly guess is that his new teacher was a savant of the Explosion element. Shigeru filed this away to be used later.

The events between the students unfolded quite quickly, but Shigeru saw all that transpired. Mouth boy released his load without much thought, Takeo intercepted it with surprisingly little damage, and then the whole class turned on Mouth Boy. Such things were bound to happen when you attack another student, especially out of turn like that. Even if the blow wasn’t meant to maim, the whole of the class would take it that way. This boy, Takeshi, would have some explaining to do if it ever came to that, but as it stood nothing would happen.
Tesa quickly broke up the fight, and the tension between all the children seemed to ease as they all made their way to the forest. She was quite a commanding presence, so Shigeru had assumed when he heard the tales of her. The children fell in line, but even after that, Takeshi still acted out by causing an explosion near where they were walking. Even though Shigeru did not like this boy one bit, he knew that there would be trouble afoot in the coming hours.
