Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

In his haste, Sairasu had found himself in the perfect position to train. Regardless of the weather, he had found an open field and manipulated it to his will. The terrain had no become the most ideal place for a shinobi to engage in combat in. Pillars of stone, earth, and metal had been risen from the ground due to his jutsu; giving his enemies, or more so, his clones plenty of hiding spots. The very snow that graced the country with its beauty had been melted within this area, leaving nothing but dead plants in its wake. Nature was cruel, not only to humans, but to itself. His fire jutsu had simply melted the snow, but the snow itself had killed all the plants beneath it. To him, it was still a tragedy that a natural disaster like this could go undetected. For fucks sake, they were Shinobi in this world who could manipulate the weather to their will, and yet even they were unable to predict or stop this.

Shaking his head, he performed hand seals and brought fourth four metal clones. ”Today, we’ll be sparing. Give me everything you have. Try to kill me.” He commanded his clones. Within seconds, they had grabbed his equipment and dispersed upon the battle field. Now he stood in the center, waiting and watching. Blinding himself, he relied on his senses. Suddenly, a burst of smoke appeared around him. ”A Smoke bomb?” He thought, before he realized the clones used his very tactics. ”And Poison.” He thought, before jumping back and performing hand seals. With a single Jutsu, he blew the poisonous smoke away, back in the direction from wince it came.

Suddenly, he heard his clone cough and instantly, he pulled his shirt over his nose and charged in towards it. At this point, Sairasu had already begun channeling lighting throughout his body. His speed had increased to an unbelievable level, and before the clone could even react, his first had made direct contact with the first of them. As it went flying, several shuriken would burst through the smoke from his flank, digging deep into the tender flesh of his shoulder. The pain was something he had experienced before, but still it hurt. His arm flinched as he charged again, blindly. Before he realized it however, he had fallen into a trap. One of the clones took hold of him and slammed him into a metal pillar, using a technique known as steel slam. Both of them began to let loose with an unarmed assault before he could react.

In the midst of all this, his shirt had fallen from his nose and his lungs filled with smoke and poison. Reacting, he body switched and hid as he tried to cover his coughs. Within a second, his body switch target exploded, leaving a huge burst of flames in its wake. Two of his clones were directly affected by it, but what of the third? As he focused his senses, he realized that it was too late. The third clone had already pierced right bicep with a short sword. Instinctively, he grabbed the clone by the head with his left hand, the lighting still channeling through his body, and slammed its head into the ground. As the sword found its way out of his arm, he performed hand seals and increased the weight of all the equipment the clone was carrying with his “burdening touch technique”. Immediately afterwards, he followed up with another jutsu known as “silver flash” and it instantly tore through the clone, cutting it in half, and dispersing it.

Half an hour would pass before Sairasus training for the day was completed. By the end of it, he had beaten himself bloody and set up camp under one of the earthly pillars he pulled from the ground. Using his jutsu, he had also constructed walls to block out the harsh winds so his campfire could survive. His equipment was in close quarters, where he could see everything plain as day. Over the fire was a single pot, with homemade vegetables soup cooking within it. Most of the ingredients were frozen, so they’d require a little more time to cook before it was ready.

Sairasu, himself, was simple tending to his own wounds through use of his Medical Ninjutsu and supplies he had left. ”Training was good today, but I need to pick it up.” He thought to himself. ”One day, it’ll pay off though.”<i></i> He said to himself, again. Hopefully he wouldn’t make a habit of speaking to himself.

I really don't want Kami. It serves no roleplay or battle significance to me. >=/ But, for the sake of roleplay and keeping me active and interested, let's do this.

Accepted.

As the man known as Sairasu trained with several clones he had made, a fairly small blue orb of light with wings flew towards him as he had spoken to himself. The small spirit seemed as if she was in a hurry. "Hey! Hey! Listen! The Great Kyoubaku Tree is in need of help! Please, oh please, can you help him? I don't think he has too long left, even considering how quickly this frost has come. Please, he needs your help!"<i></i> The frantic spirit spoke, anxiously waiting for the mans response.

The blue orb of light flew around slightly as she waited for Sairasu to respond, and soon looking towards the sky and seeing the moon with a giant face on it. "Oh my..."<i></i> The small spirit said, a bit exhaustively not knowing what to worry about first, the Great Kyoubaku Tree or the moon that seemingly was moving closer to the planet they stood on.

As he continued to bandage his wounds, something happened that just rocked his brain. A glowing orb approached him, speaking and asking him for help. ”I’ve not even started drinking yet and I’m already hearing and seeing things…” He thought to himself for a moment. Knowing damn well he wasn't intoxicated, or under the influence of any poison or Genjutsu, he bit his tongue. Logically thinking, he couldn't come to any conclusions and just decided to go with it. ”Alright, although I’m a Medical Shinobi… I’m not a botanist, but I’ll do my best.” He told the orb, moments before he stood up and grabbed some of his medical supplies.

"Lead the way." He told the creature. "If this is a trap, I'll take great pleasure in killing whoever's trying to trick me." He thought to himself as he waited for the creature to escort him or something.

The orb flew anxiously as she waited for the answer from the man and seemed excited as he had accepted her hasty request of helping The Great Kyoubaku Tree. "Oh, thank you thank you thank you. Just follow me and I'll bring you to The Great Kyoubaku Tree!" The flying orb had said, before turning and flying back in the direction she had flown from.

After a while, the two had arrived at what seemed to be a very hidden village, all consisting of several houses and a shop, but no humans whatsoever. "We're almost there now! Just a little farther! The Great Kyoubaku Tree is just up ahead!" The small flying spirit spoke.

Another spirit had flown towards the two as the approached The Great Kyoubaku Tree. "Are you here to help? There are so many monsters around and within The Great Kyoubaku Tree! I hope you're a good fighter! So please, help him. I don't think he has long if they aren't taken care of!" The new arrival had spoken, as one of the monsters had turned the corner and had shown itself to the three. It seemed as if it was a mix between human and reptile, and wielded a sword.

"I'm Feliz, and that's one of the monsters!" The new arrival had spoke, before both of the spirits had quickly moved behind Sairasu.

Sairasu hesitantly followed the orb like creature before him, knowing damn well he was bound to be ambushed at any given time. But, even though he was hesitant, he pretty much longed for an opportunity to test his strength against a new enemy. After a while of traveling, he noticed something he had never noticed before; another hidden village within the water country. ”I’ve been pretty much everywhere in this country except here….” He thought to himself, further more convincing himself that he was trapped within a Genjutsu. ”It’s quite and empty; there’s not even a single child wondering the streets, or let alone a merchant. I don’t even sense anyone. They’re making this almost too easy to recognize.” He continued to think to himself.

Suddenly, he noticed a tree and another orb like creature speaking to him. ”I guess I am, but where is your enemy?” He asked, before noticing one turn the corner. ”Oh.”<i></i> He said, before instinctively his hand formed seals. Suddenly, electricity would surge through his hand as it raised it into the sky. All hell was about to break lose, and thanks to his Elementalist ability, it would surely be a devastating first attack. Thunder clouds immediately formed, and nearly instantly “Raijin’s Vengence” would reign down upon the creature; it was insane. Not only was it over charged, but immediately after a second one would follow to finish the combo. What made it worse was, unlike jutsu of this level, this things cast time was so fast that it was going to be hard to defend against. Regardless, if the creature survived this and wasn't scared off, he'd continue to defend his location. He'd follow up with a technique so sacred to him, one that he took pride in; Zephyr's Grace. If needed, a powerful dragon of shredding winds would bombard this lizard like thing. At the very least, he wouldn't truly be wasting his chakra if this was a Genjutsu.

A single monster died against the first attack, but four more lived and rounded from the other side of the monstrous sized tree. They didn't seem capable of speech but stood around the tree and made gestures at the new arrivals. Waving their clawed hand before them and with their almost crocodile like features they were truly not from this world, or at least didn't seem like it.

Two of the four created barriers to protect them and their comrades, though whether this would be enough to help them or not was questionable at best.

The sprites squeeled with glee at Sairasu's success "Yes, yes, more! You got one so quickly! Please get rid of them all!"

Watching and waiting, he turned to see four new enemies; two of which had made barriers. He was surprised that they were capable of doing such things, but after meeting ‘fairies’, he didn't understand why this was shocking in the least bit. ”Someone’s got a weird sense of humor, but this is one interesting Genjutsu…” He thought to himself, before instinctively performing another set of hand seals. With was at that moment that he heard the fairies cheer him on. One eye glanced to them, briefly, before a massive title wave rose from the ground, and went forward toward his enemies. The very wave itself, at this point was nearly forty meters tall so wide, that it the sheer weight of it alone could crush anything in its wake. However, once again he changed the structure of his jutsu due to his elemental mastery over the water element; causing its widespread attack to be even more widespread.

If that attack didn't hit, he’d use the jutsu once more in the very same manor combed with his personal favorite technique, Superalloy Tempest. He was trying to blow his enemies away, do as much damage as he possibly could, and somehow avoid hitting the tree. For the time being, he would continue to play this little game. However, he did feel a bit of exhaustion at this point which worried him. ”Why am I getting exhausted in a gen…. this isn't a genjutsu, shit…. This is real?” He thought to himself, before getting serious and taking a defensive position. "I'll do what I can."<i></i> He told the fairies.

The barrier collapsed under the assault. The crocodiles were hit by the force of the attack.

Three more fell to the attacks, the last of the crocodile like creatures created another barrier... looking at the assaulter it had taken damage as well.

The fairies next to him once more squeeled with excitement. "Only one more stands in the way!! Only one more remains!!! Kill it, kill it!!!"
