It was an absolutely gorgeous day; and even better it was Shieo's day off. Of course, he knew there was always a fairly high likelihood he would be called in to cover for a sick teacher or manage some event that could be coming up~ It was for this very reason that he sent in a notice that he was taking some of his holiday time and to go on a fishing trip. Something he was extremely fond of doing, so much so in-fact that when he even thought about it, it'd make him excited and happy all the same.
"Some people will simply never understand, nope. Never..." He was certainly cheery, whenever he wasn't chatting with himself; or the persona that lurked just beyond the corner of his eyes. He was whistling a pleasant tune that only encouraged his mood to be elevated even more. During this time, which was a rather long-sort, he had been travelling exclusively on foot through the vast expanse of Kumogakure's forests; it was of course intentional. He was a bit of an explorer when he had the opportunity, it was freeing to be able to choose a direction and walk. And with how many bodies of water this region had, he could fairly confidently choose a location when he arrived, have a suitable camp ground in the crisp beauty of the lands, and have water just a walks distance away.
Thus, he continued his trek. Pushing through leaves, bushes; the paths weren't carved and so it definitely did slow his travels some. Nevertheless, he felt comfortable with it, considering he had no where to be for awhile. With his left arm holding the fishing-rod, rested on the same shoulder in turn. His appearances were otherwise, about as normal as it could get. Wearing no identifying marks of being a shinobi, just his normie clothes and the gear for camping and fishing.
A few hours later, and six days into his trip. He finally found it; a massive expanse of a lake, and a mountain overlooking the landscape in the background. Realistically, it didn't serve any purpose other than comforting his conflicted emotions, after his inning with his persona; he had been yearning for something this relieving for awhile. The beauty settled and he had established a camp-ground fairly quickly, something he's had more than an experts practice in.
Without further a due, the young man had journeyed the five minute walk to the lake. Taking in the sight once more, he saw the glistening and ebbing water flowing around from the gentle brushes of the wind that cast over the waters. The area itself was quite impressive, simply in the vastness; but with the trees, the mountain in the distance it almost could have come out of a story book.
From the corners of his eyes, he saw the grand and looming shadow of his Persona; it spoke in his mind. And he knew it could only be seen by him; at least, he hasn't encountered anyone or anything that could see it otherwise... Their reactions would be enough to prove their vision too. It is ironic, someone with so much buried rage and wrath-- Finds solace in the lands of untouched human lands. Why not.. Mark our arrival? Given the space, he looked to his right and easily came to see the gigantic draconic eye that settled to his right. "Hard pass, just because I've come to accept I have emotions of rage, doesn't mean I'm going to just let go whenever I can... No amount of convincing is going to change that." Heaving out a significant sigh, he continued. "Besides, it would be cruel to destroy so much land that serves as home, food and life for the animals and those who enjoy the lands."
Tch-- You will give into it one day, and it will be marvelous, certainly.
Closing his eyes, he let himself not get taken in simply by the sight of the beast. Allowing it to fade back into his shadows, it was a timely process for now; still learning to control that of which cannot be seen, but can still be affected by. Nevertheless, he continued to walk until he reached the waters edge; preparing his equipment, he had some bait he purchased from Fire sometime ago, and he was simply dying to use it.
And so he cast the line, crouching down and watching the distracting and hypnotizing water gently crash into the beach-like connection to where he resided.
