Thunder, lightning, wind, and freezing rain, that was the elements of todays weather pattern in the rolling hills outside of Kumogakure no sato. Before returning to his home and requesting entrance, Kaiji decided to explore the outlands in which he had always wanted to when he was a genin, training to become an ANBU. The days where Joukuu, harukei and himself dreamed on coming to these lands and slaying any defected shinobi that came accross their path. The three of them, working together, slaying or capturing in the name of the village. The most powerful three man cell ever made. That was their dream anyway, their ultimate goal. Now he didn't even know if either of them were even still alive. It was saddening to even think about for the Uchiha. Five years go by and not seeing anyone for that time, you aren't sure who is alive and who had passed. Was Hayata Shin even still Raikage? another question he would have to eventually find out.
The weather however was still extremely uncooperative. Hidden in a cave, formed into the mountain side, he sat there out of the elements with the small fire he had built in front of him. The fire flickered, crackled and popped at times due to the wood being wet and cold versus the heat coming out from the fire. Lightning flashed accross the sky, enlightening the cave every once in a while, but it was deep and he couldn't see far back into it nor did he want to. He wouldn't bother anything else if there something in there with him. Bats, snakes, rats, bears, wolves, anything that would choose, like him, to get out of this nasty weather.
He remembered a time back in the academy, a day he decided to stay late with his sensei at the academy to do extra training. Even though he was called the prodigy child, Kaiji was determined to be the best of the best, as his dream back then was to become the Kage of the village. He occasionally gave into his child side of him as he would pull pranks here and there. The best he probably pulled was on the raikage tower window. He wrote in paint "ENDO KAIJI FOR KAGE" in big red letters for everyone in the village to see. It took him two days just to clean that off after getting caught by one of the Raikage guards. He was scolded for that as well. But it was worth it to him at the time. A Smile came across the Uchiha's face as he remembered that. However remembering that also made him slightly depressed, he missed his village. He missed his home. Once this storm was over he would go back to it too. He would beg to be let back in if at all necessary.
I'm coming back... I promise. I'll be back as soon as possible. Joukuu, Harukei. I hope you're still there. Wait for me guys.
A small noise echoed in the back of the cave. He looked back with his sharingan, sense it was always active, held onto his sword on the ground next to himself and crouched incase he had to move out of the way. Was it just shinobi paranoia or was there something really back there? He stayed where he was not moving a muscle, waiting to see what it was, if anything at all.
