Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Despite a steady rain that threatened to derail their travel efforts, Umashi understood that it was definitely time to leave. Having wrapped up all of the affairs that he'd come to Kumogakure to handle he got dressed with a better respect of Kumo than he had before. The Raikage was a chill guy, the people weren't all lightning bolt chucking demigods and the food and drink were simply some of the best that he'd ever partook of. With weather appropriate attire, a darkened rain coat set, Umashi was thankful that it wasn't snowing considering the altitude. Sighing at the thought of leaving a few of his best behind, he perked up at the thought of those that he'd take with him. For a fact it was definitely hard to say goodbye to the people that he'd traveled with thus far.

He'd take with himself the memories of their friendship in hopes of seeing them again in the future. Unfortunately as a shinobi there simply was no promised tomorrow. When he was finished packing, Umashi alerted everyone to the intended departure time and he expected the usual Kumogakure presence there as well. One to openly enjoy the calming effects of a good rainy day, Umashi hummed a tune to himself as he stood under his umbrella up at the gates. The soft pitter-patter of the grey skies above would well hide emotions that one might feel in a situation such as this. On the horizon there were all sorts of things that were to occur before most of them would meet again. Then too there was the Fire-Star Island event that was being planned as well, and by event Umashi definitely understood that somebody was probably going to turn the peaceful conference into a session of fist-to-cuffs as such meet-ups usually ended up that way. Umashi choose to focus on the good though, and so he stood as soon he was joined by others.

OOC: Going to wait for the whole party to appear as possible.
EDIT: Apparently I didn't copy over the corrected version and the last sentence was cut off.

The sonic king approached the gates of Kumogakure riding on a double decked platform that rode across the ground on wheels at a decent speed. Anyone that could see chakra or was perceptive enough would realize that this vehicle was being fueled with chakra.

The platform was made of steel and polished in Woodgrain Black Oakwood. This platform had three wooden masks each sporting a set of matching crowns although they differed in size. Their was luggage on the platform, a set of crates that held various tools and wooden limbs varying from a wide range of sizes and colors.

Yuuto sat on top of a large steel trunk, with a large brief case next to him. Yuuto's fingers lay flat against his sides, spread apart lightly pitter patting as an extremely thin line of chakra trailed from each finger. These chakra strings were not visible to the naked eye, a tell tale sign of a puppet master. They were connected to various parts of the platform and helped steer it along.

The puppeteer was dressed in black leather that only covered his skin. His jacket was a bit open revealing some of his scarring. He had managed to control the demonic genetics that coursed through his veins. His skin was a little darker and his eyes were much brighter, but besides that he looked normal, well beyond his third eye of course.

He was sure that he got here before his student who he had split from after their mountain excursion. The only person he could see was the Hokage who was dressed much cleaner and sharper than before. Yuuto jumped off his contraption and approached Umashi.

"What's up"<i></i> he'd give pause, "Hokage is it? I enjoyed fighting beside you but I didn't think it was going to turn into an audition. Glad I made the cut. From here on out we live." He'd say his piece before breaking attention to look around and peep sight of Hoshi namely. He'd be on guard amd wary of anyone else lurking or approaching them.

The day had finally come. Hoshi was to leave Kumo for Konoha for anbu training. He received the message from the Hokage and was there rather early. Even seeing the Hokage arrive dappered down followed by the Sonic King, Hoshi's new mentor. He was standing above a high cliff, back to the wall with a lean.

Once the two arrived, Shouyu jumped down sliding against the mountain wall until within range. He would leap and land softly by focusing chakra into his legs. Hoshi, dressed in his normal attire with a Kumo headband then stood before the two. Before he spoke, he greeted the two with a bow.

"Well, let's have a safe trip. I can't wait to see Konoha."

A smirk finally came into his face as he spoke. His whole demeanor lit up. He'd look to the Hokage and then to Yuuto.

Otome was practicing her patrols just as the Hokage and his entourage came into sight; upon seeing her fellow Cloud shinobi among them, a smirk crossed her features as she strolled casually to greet the three before their departure. First, she bowed at the waist towards the esteemed leader of Konohagakure himself, then again to the other Leaf shinobi accompanying him before turning to Hoshi and resting her hand on his shoulder.

"Hoshi," she addressed him with a nod, "show the rest of Konohagakure a sample of Kumogakure's finest. And for Raiden's sake, come back alive to share tales of your ventures with your own village." She then attempted to reel him in for a brief hug and a pat on the back before releasing her grasp and returning to Cloud.

It was just their luck to have poor weather on such a fateful day. It was rare to have rainfall in Kumogakure, and it fell more like a rainy mist as Kaji made his way to Dragons Tooth Pass in time to see off his comrades. He had never imagined that things would happen this way: that after the time he spent in this land, he would be making an extended stay once his comrades set off on a return home. It seemed so strange when Kaji arrived, only to see the Hokage Umashi, with young Hoshi, and Yuuto the Toad Riding medical ninja. Umashi did prefer medics after all, Kaji thought was a smirk.

Beneath the cover of a haze gray rain cloak, Kaji emerged before his departing comrades, still wearing his Hidden Leaf flak Jacket among his apparel, visible underneath. He pondered how long these two years would seem by the end of them; two long years away from his new home in the Hidden Leaf, to serve here at the Hidden Cloud instead. There was a speculation that his visa wouldn't be the limit to his time with The Cloud, but it was too early for Kaji to speculate such a thing-- a lot would have to happen for a permanent change to be in order. "Well gentlemen, travel safely. 'I recommend you try Ichiraku Ramen once you reach the village... It'll live up to the hype, I promise," Kaji said as he paced between the three of them. They were loading their things in some kind of unique wagon... but Kaji didn't devote more than a few glances at Yuuto's vehicle before stepping forth to Umashi, whom Kaji saw as a friend and honorable ally comparable to none. "I will be sending regular updates on the progress with the railroad operation, overseeing a smooth transition." He then offered the Hokage a respectful bow, and continued, "my oath to the will of fire remains unshaken... if The Leaf needs anything done in the Kaminari no Kuni, send word to me and I will see to it, personally."

Nodding to Yuuto, Umashi would definitely have to set a ground rule concerning this new party. "Please, call me Umashi." The rank was the rank but he really wasn't feeling the limelight today. Coincidentally it was Kaji who was to see them off which further hit Umashi in the gut. Going completely against custom, Umashi bowed towards Kaji. It had been an honor to serve with him and despite the repeated hope that they'd see each other in the future, Umashi would give the man his due today. Some would come and go as they further prepared to leave but looking to Hoshi and then to Yuuto, Umashi clapped his hands together.

"And that's a wrap boys, it's time to ease on down the road! Race you to the bottom of the mountain!" Umashi didn't want to drag out the long goodbye by insisting upon seeing everyone that was being left behind, nor did he exactly feel the need to wait for the ever busy Raikage to get his turn to see them off as well. Anyone truly knowing Umashi and keeping note of his brief demeanor would know that he was laughing instead of crying because it was much easier to focus on the bright future than the current dreary mood. True, it was very hard to say goodbye to the day before but there was going to be a bright and beaming sunshine after the rain. Momentarily losing his concentration he shook his head and pulled his clothing tighter against his body as he forced a smile and then began his descent of the mountain.

OOC: It's been swell Cloud!

The esteemed Hokage responded, with a directive to refer to him as Umashi. Yuuto accepted this with a simple retort, "Oh that's perfect, I barely use
honorfics as is."
he'd shake his fingers charging chakra into the craft while his student dove down from above with a boisterous entrance. "You're extra... get on the fricking craft".

Wood and metal rose from steel crates closing up sections of the open wagon and giving it a sleek but sturdy bottom with pointed edges like a boat. He was commanding this construction with the aid of lighting jutsu and puppeteering to weld the metal and the King, Queen, and Prince. These three puppets were on maintenance working numerous wires and interlocking puppet limbs.

Yuuto was far too preoccupied with the reconstruction to worry about everyone's goodbye. When he was finally done transforming the mobile into a boat like tank he'd grab the helm and begin to channel his corrupted sound chakra into the ships engines. This vessel ran on chakra based engines, the puppet technology he had been perfecting since he was a teenager.

The Sonic King would raise his chakra to control two more puppets the Prodigal son Eko. Yuuto always got sentimental with this considering his late child was to be named this. He modeled him after the imagination of his maturation to 9. A boy with fierce eyes like his father but soft features like his mother. Physically strong and mentally willful, his son would have been fluid. The other puppet was Fuijin, a replica of the deity of the storming winds. For Yuuto he was a defensive puppet that protected its master.

Eko would begin loading the stored chakra drums, a gift from titan, into the receivers for the engines. With this large source of chakra Yuuto could boost to Konoha while carrying a large load of luggage. He could let his maintenance puppets rest while he focused on his two above. Once Hoshi and Umashi ... Nope the hasty Hokage booked it rushing to Fire Country. Yuuto ignited the engines erupting fire and chakra while he steered the contraption of puppet limbs and metal, chasing after his nee impatient leader.

Good bye Kumogakure for now :(
