Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

A man had gone missing. One week children were being snatched by a supernatural being beyond this plane and no couples were dying. The wife, having passed not that long ago, had her husband missing for a whole week prior to. There were a lot of odd things going on, and while it wasn't above a husband to ditch their wife for someone they had on the side, it didn't sit well with Uri. His instincts were telling him something more was happening in that house. Reports have it that figures of the man can be seen moving throughout the house. Reason would have it that someone of similar skill such as Uri could perform these vanishing acts without much effort. Ninja were quite capable of vanishing and not being found if they so wished it. In this particular case however, this man wasn't a shinobi, nor was his wife.

The house hadn't been used for some time now and it was completely deserted. Standing at the door, Uri hesitated as he reached for the handle to enter. A heavy feeling weighed down on him, an unusual flow of energy that had seeped into his being. For normal people this would be the point when turning around and leaving would be the best option, when many a brave soul would ignore that instinctual warning and perish soon after, but Uri knew all too well that this could not be excused and it had to be taken care of. When the cycle of life and death is so thoroughly shaken righting it is of utmost importance.

A heavy breath sank in and out of his lungs. Determined to figure out what was happening, he pushed onward and passed through the portal. Instantly he noticed how cold it was, feeling the chill on the air in an otherwise warm climate. It was obvious no one had been there in a while. A fine layer of dust had began to settle; a common issue with any domicile in Sand due to their environment. The living area and kitchen checked out for nothing out of the ordinary. However the gathering of dust had proven useful. Faint tracks could be seen leading to the bedroom from the window on the far side of the flat. Following it, the path led him straight to the bed where he assumed the wife's last moments were spent. She had requested that she stay in her home when she passed to feel more comfortable, but something told him it was for another reason. The bedroom was completely undisturbed, save for the sparse few foot prints he had followed in. Something didn't seem right.

His gut was screaming at him that there was something more to the situation he wasn't seeing, that he could just see with plain eye. Kneeling down and placing both hands onto the floor, he sent out small veins of earthly mineral around the room. They vanished into every crevice they could find, pushed their way into cracks of furniture, and anything that had space available for something not so obvious. A sudden spark of awareness lit up his mind as one of the veins tugged at his consciousness. Withdrawing them all, he went over to the bed and hauled it away from the way. He stared intently at the space but saw nothing. Uri knew better. Getting closer, he knocked against the surface a few times until he hit something hollow. A little bit of pressure and the compartment popped open to reveal a small cabinet hidden in the wall. Inside were all manner of gruesome looking items, things he had seen before in places before leveling them into dust. Inside was a leather bound book, whose texture made his skin crawl. After reading it for a few moments, he discovered all the terrible things this woman had done, and the last entry described, in grisly detail, what she had done to her husband in an attempt to save her own life. These types of dark techniques were meant to remain sealed away as to never bother light again. As Uri was sealing up the cabinet once more, he noticed next to him, in the dust layer on the floor and message:

At last, all shall know. Thank you.
