Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The academy is considered one of the best schools in all of the Fire Country. It teaches an array of classes from the basics such as math and Japanese to the mysterious shinobi arts. The Academy is large enough to hold every grade and even has its own day care for the much younger generation. The day care teaches the very bare fundamentals, which is often the stepping stones to learning more advance stuff as the go through the academy. The toys normally consist of swords and throwing stars made of soft Styrofoam.

Kitsune was on day care duty for today, which has its ups and downs. There were always kids that did not want to listen. It was nap time and two of them utterly refused to lay down. They were too busy sword fighting, which only served to keep the other kids awake as they watched. The kids seeing this sort of behavior from these two expected quite a show; normally the teacher would attempt to use force. However Kitsune surprise them for she let them fight and begins to sing. The kids laying under there blankets watched the battle while listening to her lullaby. Kitsune’s voice was enchanted as she weaves a Lethargy jutsu into her song. It was not a powerful jutsu; only one that will instill a hint of drowsiness.

Those who were already prepare for sleep did so. The two that were fighting continue for a little while. But as they yawn and moves got sluggish, they too put down their weapon and curled up under there blankets. Kitsune it is better to handle such kids to make them believe going to take a nap was there idea and that they did so on there terms.

It had been quite some time since such an oddity drummed along the streets of the hidden leaf as a bronze creature came, striding at an even, mechanical cadence. Metallic feet made clapping sounds, leading the softened squeal of a wagon with properly greased wheels. Alas, if you thought the children were restless before, they were about to riot with this spectacle coming down the lane. The disturbance emerging outside of the daycare was a constructed creature hewed from tempered bronzed and hickory wood— a spider, apparently, inscribed with glowing sigils and a presence of chakra which gave it life. This spider was a big as an ox, but just as docile as it too functioned as a beast of burden, pulling a finely finished cart with a tarp draped over its contents. It seemed if all sorts of things could have been under that tarp based on the funky shape of it. A leather seat made for two would have revealed the rider, but that person had already jumped down and put some hidden breaks on the wheels opposite from the window— oh how quickly that one could move.

If any of those ever-curious toddlers had a look through the window, they would have been the first to be awe-stricken by the creation; it was basking in the vivid sunlight only the Land of Fire could provide until its sun-soaked carapace emitted a glow. It was just like Jomei to park such a creation outside as if it were some regular plaything— though, for him, it very well may have been just that. He came with a melodic whistling tune leading his arrival, and a clipboard in hand, hinting that he was coming with some order of business in mind. By all accounts he was a young man with a wiry frame, bronzed complexion, draped in standard shinobi apparel, and a chunin flak jacket two sizes too big, open and drooping over his sides. Dark-lensed riding goggles were pushed up over his forehead, meeting the thick, curly auburn mane. Jomei pushed them up higher as he approached the door, revealing humble round eyes, and cadmium hued, vividly orange pupils which, though beautiful, were natural on no one. Even when acting in earnest, Jomei Koyanagi appeared as mischievous as they came. His clever smile and pearly white teeth were disarming whenever he didn't confuse you with scientific jargon.

He welcomed himself through the entrance of the daycare, instantly riling up every tyke under Kitsune’s command, and at least half of them already knew him by name. Better hide your girlfriend, 'cuz “Jomei is back” became the chant in a parrot effect that spread infectiously. The reason for the children's excitement was obvious once Jomei revealed a doodad from his pocket and tossed it into the crowd of younglings carelessly. It was a glowy orb-thingy, changing in color and responsive to touch, squishy and soft. The doodad was simple but amazing to mere children, and Jomei began tossing duplicates of the toy until a majority of the younglings were distracted and mesmerized. “I’m quite sorry for the sudden disturbance— I can tell from the mats that it must have been nap time” Jomei said as he approached the one responsible for the kids that day. He offered her a reluctant smile and a hint of gratitude in the event her ire wasn’t too great. “Jomei Koyanagi, at your service” he added with a hint of debonaire flare and a sweeping bow.
