Ikari had finally made it to the village gates, if that is what they could be considered. The Uchiha allowed himself to look at the banners that where flying still proud as always it seemed that they would never go. This was his first time here but he had already get reports of what to expect from the Hokage during his visit, that had taken all the control for Takeshi himself not to make his way here, but he was needed inside of the village and thus it would be the two of them that finally went together. Ikari would always be in front of Kotori, is hand lazily resting on the hilt of the blade, that was more the fact of who the girl was than to his threatening nature.
As the two of them would make it to the entrance he would want to wait to see who would come though as always he would have to announce himself, it was proper and expected if they wanted someone to turn up to let them in, he allowed himself to do the talking for the first part, after they where in and at the Kage office then that is when Kotori would be taking over the conversation, at least that was what the plan had been for this line of conversation.
"Hello, my name is Uchiha Ikari, I have travelled all the way from Konaha to come here, we have a message from the Hokage to deliver to the Kazekage directly, we have documentation ready and would request access inside of the village please."
His voice was loud enough that it could be heard if needed as he allowed himself time to wait and see if anyone would show up to let the two of them in.
