Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Mission Name: Do As We Do.
Mission Type: Solo-Mission
Mission Rank: E-Rank
Objective: A recent Lolita bakery has lost many of it's workers due to the recent Worm Flu. They ask that you come in, and learn how to decorate cakes so you can train the newcomers--yes, that means you have to wear the uniform!

Once again in front of the mission boxes, the small, red-haired tom boy looked at the box with her name on it, one eyebrow quirked up in trepidation at what mission the village of Suna had in store for her this week. Hesitantly she lifted her hand and pressed her thumb to the door. A small click told her it had been unlocked and she opened it and pulled out the folded page that was stored inside. She looked at the paper, a small frown forming on her face as she imagined the sort of torture she had been assigned this week, but surely they wouldn't give her another mission like the one she had the week before. Her small body shuddered slightly at the painful memory of the hideously frilly pink dress and she closed the door of her box before moving away and sitting down on the steps to read her assignment.

A lolita bakery...lolita.......and she had to wear the uniform....

"Again!?" She shouted, once again causing the shinobi around her that were all reading their own mission assignments to look at the red-haired - and now red-faced - girl seated on the ground. She was fuming, why couldn't she get a mission to go save someone, or help out a cave spider tamer or something awesome like that? But nooooooo! Someone in the mission department had it out for her, she just knew it!

Still furious, she pushed herself to her feet and stuck her mission assignment in her pocket and trudged off toward the address listed on the paper, muttering mutinous words under her breath as she walked.

The journey took much less time than she would have wanted and soon she was standing outside a pink and white building with the words 'Sweet Treats' painted in loopy lettering over the door. With a long drawn out sigh that came out as more of a hiss through her teeth she pushed the door open and stepped up to the front counter.

"I received the mission to come here and learn to decorate cakes..." She said, her strong desire to draw her sword leaking out in the tone of her voice.

The very pretty blonde woman behind the counter was wearing a frilly pink and white dress with bows, she smiled tentatively at the obviously angry little girl and nodded, pulling the frilliest pink dress from behind the counter and handing it over to Amy, who took one of the ruffles between her thumb and index finger and held it out at arms length like it was going to bite her and snarled slightly.

Resigned to yet another mission full of cruel and unusual punishment she looked at the woman before speaking. "Where can I change?" Her voice still dripped with poison as she averted her eyes as much as possible from the hideous uniform. The woman simply pointed toward a door to the right of the desk that was labeled as the bathroom. Trudging to the door she pushed it open and went inside to change. Removing her beloved shorts and tank-top, she slipped the dress over her head and pulled her long red hair free, which clashed horribly with the pink dress.

Returning to the lobby in the uniform, she gave her clothes to the receptionist who put them behind the desk and smiled again, still a little worried that the young girl might attack her. "Follow me and I'll introduce you to the owner, she'll be the one teaching you the trade so that you can train our new hires." With that, she stepped out from behind the counter, her high-heeled lace-up boots clicking merrily against the pale wood floors as she led Amy through an archway, through a small consultation room with what looked like a white metal patio set with three chairs around it, then into the kitchen where an older, slender woman in a long pink dress was assembling the layers of what looked like a wedding cake.

"Here's the young shinobi you requested, Okusama," the blonde woman said, before returning to the front of the bakery.

The older woman looked up just as she finished placing the top layer on the cake and smiled genially. "Thank you for coming, dear. You came very highly recommended by the mission board, they told me you were a very quick learner, which is exactly what I need."

Amy's face went even more red as she blushed slightly at the compliment, she felt a little remorseful at her anger from before, and though she still was upset at the mission they assigned her, she felt pride at the fact that they had recommended her because of her learning ability. Standing up a bit straighter, she smiled a little at the woman and nodded. "I am a fairly quick learner, and I'll do my best." Her voice had lost some of its poison, and it had been replaced with a hint of pride as she stood up straighter, moving a bit farther into the room.

"Okay, let's start." The woman said, motioning Amy over to the table so she could show her what to do.

The bakery owner began by decorating one section of the cake, icing it once a bit haphazardly, then a second time more carefully, smoothing the surface to a perfect level before she added swirly piping details in purple on top of the white icing. Once she had finished the small section she backed away. "Okay, now let's see how you do." She leaned back against one of the other tables and watched as the young shinobi finished the rest of the cake with a flourish. After weapon smithing, decorating a cake was....well, a piece of cake. Smiling with more pride, Amy turned and looked at the woman, her frilly pink dress covered in purple icing.

"Very nice, you'll be able to teach my new hires no problem, they just need the basics for now anyway...and here they come."

Just as the woman finished speaking, six girls, all wearing the same frilly dresses as Amy was, walked into the room behind the blonde counter girl, who returned to the front of the shop once they were all in the kitchen. Amy grimaced a little, it was bad enough that she was wearing the pink dress, worse still that they were all wearing the exact same one, and even worse that they were here to witness her embarrassment. But she had a mission to complete, and so, she moved to the second assembled cake that sat atop the counter and began to show the new girls how it was done.
