Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Natsu's natural grace when in combat had become apparent early in his training. His body moved more elegantly, more fluid than his mother had anticipated. She was the one who had taught him the early basics, before he had gone to the Academy. However, she had never instructed him in such a manner and found it incomprehensible why the young boy could move so skillfully with such little effort. After his Kekkai Genkai had manifested this grace only seemed to increase, and Sohan Akane found herself soon outclassed when it came to grace and fluidity. These traits were quickly incorporated into Natsu's everyday practice however. The Chunin now has near complete mastery over his body, performing acrobatic feats rivaling those of experienced circus acrobats.

While Natsu quickly developed beyond his mother's flexibility, she had other talents. As an accomplished Medical Shinobi she could perform eats with surgical precision, whether those actually were related to surgeries or more combat oriented. As much as Natsu trained, he could not attain her aptitude at magnificent precision. With enough training, he did attain a respectable level however. Able to hit the right things when he wanted to became less and less of an obstacle, which proved all too valuable in combat soon enough. At the time of obtaining the rank of Chunin, Natsu was perfectly capable of hitting a specific limb or joint of his opponent while in combat and is improving further still.

What Natsu lacked in precision in his early career, he made up for sheer strength. If he couldn't hit the target, he'd make sure to put extra power behind his swings. That way when he'd eventually hit, it'd make up for his lackluster hit ratio. Even though Natsu now has attained an envious level of accuracy, he did not neglect his monstrous strength and has no trouble lifting heavy things. His swings still pack a punch far beyond expectation of such a nimble fighter, and he is even capable of wielding larger weapons as if they were weighed the same as their standard counterparts.

Combining his brutish strength, precision and grace, Natsu has managed to attain a level of absolute efficiency. Dodging a blow, swinging with enough force to shatter bone at the weak point of an opponent in one fluid motion allows him to reduce the amount of effort required to take out a target. This has allowed him to fight much more conservatively without sacrificing combative strength. Able to go on much longer than his sparring partners isn't a rare occurrence, and while Natsu prefers to end a fight as quickly as possible, he is capable of keeping up a high rate of activity without exhausting himself beyond recovery.

The biggest obstacle Natsu has had to overcome to attain his current combat efficiency was his incredibly energetic attitude. Natsu often complained about the lack of things to do while studying, much preferring some form of physical interaction above the dull sitting in a chair to read in dusty old books. No doubt his addiction to sugary treats has something to do with it. However, while Natsu still has a more upbeat personality, he no longer runs all over the place. Whether his father managed to beat a sense of rest into him, or the technique he learned from one of his teachers to focus his redundant energy, most people who are around Natsu are just glad he no longer is so hyperactive.

A weakness can always be turned into a strength, as long as one looks hard enough for it. One of his teachers from his youth learned the boy a trick to focus his overflowing energy into a single point of focus. Honing this skill over the years, Natsu has found it easier to react to openings in his opponents defense, spotting oddities in his surroundings or even intuitively countering an attack. While he can not predict the future or dodge blows that come from behind close doors, he has learned to anticipate windows of opportunity during combat and how to make use of them.

This ability, his quick reaction speed, while by itself being very useful in combat, is not the extent of Natsu's adaptiveness in combat. One of the few combat related books his father allowed him to read handled the various types of strategies employed by famous tacticians and warlords. And while Natsu has sufficient understand of how important they are, and how to come up with one, the Chunin particularly applies this knowledge in close combat quarters. Reading the attacking patterns of his opponent, utilizing his surroundings to the fullest, Natsu has the uncanny ability of insight into the mind of his target and utilizes it to the fullest to end a battle as swiftly as possible.

The constant strain on his body caused by often and rapidly changing his skeletal density and structure as well as bones piercing his skin to serve as weapons or armor have made Natsu accustomed to pain. Not only that, his body has learned to rapidly regenerate itself to a near superhuman level. Small wounds will not place Natsu in danger for his life. It'll take quite some damaging attacks to get him out of the fight. Combining this natural regeneration with his conservative manner of fighting, Natsu is capable of withstanding a ton of high-paced combat. And in a world full of hostile ninja, that can only be a good thing.

His body being a weapon by itself, his very bones shifting into any tool or weapon of his desire, Natsu has no problem quickly shifting from one manner of fighting to another. Thanks to his practice not only with piercing weapons such as blades, but also clobbering heads with maces or chopping away with axes, this provides in a welcome benefit during battle. While still requiring a considerable amount of concentration, he has achieved control over his Kekkai Genkai to the point of being able to create a sword, his favored type of weapon, in less than a second. Other weapon types do not take much longer, and this control often allows him to strike when his opponent least expects it.

Despite all of his natural talents for combat, Natsu did not neglect his training of his techniques. One could only rely on his skills if he, or she, could do them blindfolded and still hit the target with pinpoint accuracy. At least, that's how Natsu saw it. Thus he spent many nights practicing his Jutsu, both Tai as the few Ninjutsu he has learn in the Academy. Not sated until he pushed his mastery over a technique to the limit, diminishing the tax of it on both his body as his chakra reserves, Natsu is confident in the few skills he can truly call his own to win the battle with.

Shifting one of his shoulderblades, several of his vertebrae and Raiden may know what other part of the human skeleton together, this abomination was created. While it's piercing capabilities are somewhat lackluster, the blows from this weapon hit hard. If not breaking the bone or limb Natsu is aiming for, it'll be sure to leave a very sore bruise otherwise.

Description: The Spear of Longinus is a relic long guarded by the Tenouzan Church at the Basilica of Saint Isamu. During the Battle of the Basilica, Masao wielded the weapon to deliver what would be a killing blow to Enishi. Although the weapon never tasted the man's blood, to Natsu it will always resemble a mark of Masao's tenacity and power.
