Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Spending 370 ASP to gain a Free Major in Earth and Lightning, to also purchase an addition Advanced Element slot, and to purchase two additional Equipment Slots. As posted [here] in my training, I also now have a Major in Fire.

At this point, I'd also like to request the following Advanced Elements: Poison, Wood, Sand, Kinesis, and Gravity.

Also going to list all of the Carryover things I've purchased from the Advanced Shop before: Extra RP Slot (x4), Abilities Card, and Class Point Card.

I wanted to mention that, after having mastered all of Sand, Wood, and Poison Ninjutsu, along with Kinetic Genjutsu, that I have a Major Affinity in each of them. Also, doing some RPs for abilities.
Shinobi 101 — Kinetic Genjutsu uses Ninjutsu Accuracy
Blessed with an odd affinity for all of the arts of combat, Takeyashi has spent a good deal of time trying to solve one of the most difficult solutions to being a multi-disciplined fighter: how to seamlessly train all of your skills. While it’s nice to be able to use many different battle styles, it’s also rather cumbersome to train all of those separate skills. There’s never enough time in the day, and thus it becomes impossible to do it all. So, Takeyashi learned to consolidate some of his skills. Genjutsu, for instance, he learned to cast using his other Ninjutsu skills. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Squadron
Takeyashi’s respect for the village runs deep, causing him to accept and do things that he wouldn’t normally do. For example, the young boy is often at a loss when it comes to teamwork. Normally wishing to work alone and to not be bothered, it seems unlikely that such a person would be happy to be a part of a greater whole. And yet, that’s exactly what he does when needed. If his village asks it of him, Takeyashi puts aside his own feelings on the issue in order to team up with whomever it is necessary to do so with.

Jutsu Expansion
Takeyashi had always had a knack for Ninjutsu. Ever since he first started training with it, he’d always been able to pull more power out of his jutsus than any of the other kids. Almost like an innate talent, he was always taking his techniques to the next level. What should have been a small ball of flames would suddenly become a great fireball when Takeyashi was the one casting it. Eventually learning how to manipulate his jutsu’s power to a very precise degree, the young shinobi now employs this skill during his battles, fine tuning his techniques to fit the situation.

Acrobatic</U><i></i>
One of the skills that has come most easily for him since the development of his kekkei genkai is a more natural sense of agility and gymnastic talent. Having to quickly learn how to filter through all of the new information he had to be aware of when using six arms, Takeyashi has no problem now applying that heightened awareness to any part of his body. Being able to twist and turn specific joints to account for sudden movements he has to make, Takeyashi has become a master at moving his own body. In battle, he uses these fine motor skills to deftly dodge enemy’s attacks.

<U>Weapon Mastery — Ranged
Every shinobi has a particular set of weapons that they are most comfortable with, and Takeyashi is no exception. His choice of weapon is the bow and arrow, a clean and ancient weapon that can silently and efficiently take out anyone in combat. However, he’s taken his affinity with the weapon to the next level. Able to switch up his combat style on the fly, Takeyashi sports a wide range of enhancements to his feathered projectiles. Able to adapt to any situation, Takeyashi possesses a wide range of arrow tips which he can swap out at any point in a battle.

Quickdraw
Having many arms comes with many benefits, but one of the hardest skills to master with so many appendages is multitasking. Being able to split the focus of ones brain into three total sets of arms is astoundingly difficult. It does, however, come with great benefits. Where a normal shinobi might need to wait on one task to be completed before another — like drawing an arrow before they can draw the bow — Takeyashi is able to break these tasks up. He is able to focus on multiple things, and thus is able to draw his weapons at the same time as doing something else, resulting in what appears to be a much quicker draw time.

Stalker
Takeyashi is a master of the art of stealth. He has developed a very unique style of combat, relying much on the innate skills of a spider. Like his arachnid brethren, Takeyashi is more than happy to wait for his opponent to mess up. He lays a trap, then hides until the perfect moment to strike. Even though his enemies might not know it, they are always being watched by the young boy. It isn’t until they’ve been caught in his web that he’ll strike, catching them off guard and defenseless. Stealthy and unseen, the young boy can wait for hours until his prey is caught.

Poison Mastery
Shinobi techniques are fine, and it’s no lie that he’s quite proficient in many fields of combat. However, it’s always nice to ensure an easy victory by adding a little bit of an extra kick to your attacks. To this end, Takeyashi has developed a wide range of toxins that are easy to apply and incredibly potent. Highly dangerous, the young boy has perfected his poison making capabilities and incorporates his creations into all of his attacks. His poisons are more dangerous than normal, and have been beefed up to be more easily transmitted, cause more painful effects, and take affect much more quickly.

Shattered Reality
While training hand to hand combat and Ninjutsu proficiency is important, one of the skills that Takeyashi utilizes the most effectively is his great control of Genjutsu. While not the main focus of his combat style, Takeyashi employs his use of the mental arts to a devastating degree of effectiveness. While his fists and his techniques are battering down an enemy’s body, Takeyashi is also breaking down their mind and their ability to discern was is real and what isn’t. One of his finishing moves involves literally destroying the very idea of what the thought they knew the world to be.

Elemental Illusion
Even though Takeyashi had developed a great level of skill for the mental arts of Genjutsu, he knew that wasn’t enough. He’s always experimenting on his battle styles, and one day he had the idea to combine the sneaking and precise power of Genjutsu with the overwhelmingly powerful and malleable abilities of Ninjutsu. The resulting combination was a fearful technique, wherein he channels the abilities of Ninjutsu through the Genjutsu that he places his victims under. The result is a terrifyingly adjustable skill that can inflict much more potent and deadly illusions on his victims, ensuring a much quicker victory.

Adrenaline Rush
Takeyashi loves the thrill of battle. Almost like a high, he lives for the times when he can fully let loose in combat. His heart begins to boil, and his mind begins to work at a million miles an hour. In all honesty, there’s nothing like that rush of battle. In fact, Takeyashi enjoys his combat so much that he actually becomes much more powerful in the heat of battle. His senses become much more aware, his reflexes improve drastically, and his thought process becomes much more clear and capable. Able to push himself to the absolute limits, Takeyashi takes full enjoyment out of his battles.

Defensive Technique
When fighting, it isn’t always the best idea to simply charge in head first. Takeyashi has found that, sometimes, a more indirect approach is needed. Waiting for your opponent to rush you, and being prepared to handle that situation properly, can give you all of the advantage in a battle. Dodging punching, weaving in and out of attacks, can be a very effective strategy for winning. After all, what does the fight matter for if you end up getting hit and knocked out too soon? Rather than taking the battle to your opponent, it’s sometimes best to be defensive and let them take the fight to you.

Duelist
There are many different ways to fight in a battle, and many different arrangements of fighters in a battle. A group of people could be ganging up on one person, or that one person could be singlehandedly fighting off a swarm of other warriors. It all really depends on the battle. However, almost every fighter knows which can of arrangement works best for them. For Takeyashi, that arrangement is a simple 1-on-1 battle. Get rid of all the glitz, the glamour, and all of that other unnecessary stuff — at the end of the day, a fight burns down to who between the two fighters is the best.

Strategist
To be unprepared as a shinobi is to be a dead man walking. Every single warrior must have their supplies prepared beforehand, their options properly tailored to the situations they will find themselves in, and above all be broad enough to cover a very wide range of situations and problems. It is absolutely essential that a shinobi prepare themselves for the battles ahead. Takeyashi is always planning ahead, making sure to take with him the tools and supplies that he’ll need at all times. He prepares for almost any situation that he can think of, and as such has a far better plan of action for everything that could go wrong.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you don't gain Minor/Major mastery in AE's. Minor/Major mastery is for base elements as per these rules.

Creating a couple of new weapons. Noting that, due to my ability Weapon Mastery — Ranged, my bows only get two augments each.

Corruption: Made out of a springy ashen yew, this bow is fast, accurate, and laced with various poisons. Getting hit by this bow means certain death.
Damage Type: Ranged | Effect: May inflict Suppression | Accuracy: +2 | Base Damage: -10% | Augments: Toxify, Quick Strike

Bonebreaker: Dark brown and stained with the blood of many foes, this bow is so hard that it doubles as a thick club. Deadly from a distance or up close.
Damage Type: Ranged / Bludgeoning | Effect: May inflict Suppression | Accuracy: +0 | Base Damage: +0% | Augments: Trick Weapon, Steady

Other augments that I have in my inventory, that are not assigned to a weapon: Primal, Vampiric, Daze, and Lantern. I also have the poisons: Sepent's Blood (x3), Black Lotus (x3), Fury Gas (x3), and Mustard Gas (x3).

Re-configuring one of my weapons.

Corruption: Once the name of a powerful bow, these gloves carry on the past weapon's legacy. One touch from these gloves could mean certain death.
Damage Type: Unarmed | Effect: May inflict Suppression | Accuracy: +2 | Base Damage: -10% | Augments: Toxify, Quick Strike, Primal

Dropping Stalker and Defensive Technique for Elemental Aura and Concentrated Focus.
[spoilername="Elemental Aura"]In battle, it is best not to be hit. But that's the biggest challenge, isn't it? How do you get someone who is actively trying to hit you to not do so? It's an important question to answer, as being hit less means that you can win more battles. Takeyashi certainly liked to win, so this was a question he'd been pondering for a while. It wasn't until he had an encounter with a guard who wore bulky armor with spikes built into it. That's it! If you cover your body with something the enemy won't want to hit, they'll have a harder time hitting you! But why stop with just iron? Takeyashi played with the idea, and soon he developed chakra armors that worked just as well. This would surely help him in battle![/spoilername]

[spoilername="Concentrated Focus"]The idea came to the young man when he was observing the way a spider hunts for its prey. Calm and patient, the humble spider sits on its web until its prey comes to it. Flies, unknowing of the cruel fate that awaited them, would fly straight into the web of the waiting spider. Once it flew into the web, there was no going back. The strands are sticky and bind the fly in place. Helpless to do anything to stop its oncoming death, the fly's life ends there. And so, Takeyashi learned the true value of a well placed bind. He knew he would have to incorporate them into his battle strategies.[/spoilername]

Unfortunately no, the system was set-up this way because when you lose something (like an ability) there is the inherent risk that someone will come and start a fight with you. This WC option was a way to encourage users to RP as and out. A delayed response from you would bypass that sadly. [Opinion]I doubt you will be attacked in the week if the WC seems a bit overwhelming but I personally subscribe to Murphy's Law and feel that if something can go wrong it will so I would likely go with the words. [/Opinion]

I too believe in Murphy's Law. Here's the updated RPs, each one 200+ WC.

Soon, he was able to call upon many of the elemental forces he wielded to create armor that would protect him in battle. Soon, great flaming breastplates, burning anything that dared to make contact with them and scrambling thorny chain mail that was hard as dragon’s scales, and yet as light as a flower, were typical pieces of his repertoire.[/spoilername]

He would wait patiently in his battles, drawing his enemies into ever more dangerous positions. Finally, when he knew an enemy would have no means of escape, he would spring his traps on them. Helpless to escape, many of his victims would beg for forgiveness. And like the spiders that he learned this means of battle from, he didn’t show the slightest hesitation in striking his prey down.[/spoilername]

  • Swapping Shattered Reality ability for Mind Overflow.
  • Swapping old Abomination jutsu. I had Partial Transformation and Malevolent Annihilation. I'm not sure what these can transfer to in the new version of the Kinjutsu.
  • I had a Cursed Seal that I spent 150 ASP on [here], as well as 120 ASP to rank it up [here]. New curse seal is as follows:

    Takeyashi's Cursed Seal
Effect: Partial hits against the user are treated as full hits. +1 AP. +1 Accuracy.
    Accuracy Type: Ranged Accuracy

  • Swapping to a new Character Class:

    Desert Spider [V]
    HP: (50+lvl) x stamina
    CP: (45+lvl) x chakra control
    Class Bonus: Kinjutsu, +1 Accuracy
    High: Ninjutsu Accuracy
Average: Evasion, Genjutsu Save, Melee Accuracy, Ranged Accuracy
    Low: Genjutsu DC

Go forth my Spider-man and survive until the year 2099 in which the entire future is one whole terrible place.

Get yourself a dog, and go into a wasteland. I think I'm crossing too many streams.

Cursed Seals are an ability now, so I've noted it as a zero ability for you.

You should totally name it.
