Though not a shinobi at first and thus unable to control his chakra, his parents saw his potential and thus pushed him through in becoming a shinobi. As he learned to toy with his chakra, he started to replicate tools of war from scrap papers and infuse it with his own chakra, becoming a much deadlier weapon than it should be. He could still remember how he had to sneak in a sheet of paper every now and then.

It was shuriken practice, Jin wasn't the kind of a person to stand out of class due to him being quiet compared to the boys boasting on who could score the highest and the girls who try their best to impress their crushes. In front of them was a countless supply of shurikens placed in a fine wooden table, neatly stacked in a row so they wouldn't hurt each other when trying to grab these things. Once the task started, everyone rushed in front of the table, grabbing three or four shurikens before jumping to their position in order to hit their target, a tree located in the open as well as being in a good distance away from them. Taking advantage of the commotion with the table, he took a sheet of paper and folded it into a neat shuriken before jumping to his position, hiding the small white shuriken in his hand to avoid any suspicion. As the signal was released, he reinforced some of his chakra and in a flick of his wrist, he sent his paper shuriken along with the others.

As their instructor moved towards the tree to see the results, Jin was declared the first as he was the only one who manage to hit the tree at first try. Though others were amused, he wasn't, simply bowing down before stepping back to watch others attempt once more.[/spoilername]

• Learning Elemental Aura Ability

  • As much as he likes to play dress-up in the midst of battle, nothing else makes him feel better than being coated with the one thing he loves the most in the world. Paper. Like paper cranes and shurikens, creating an armor or a dress from paper isn't that tasking with the likes of him. Crafting fancy or otherwise, clever dressed completely made out of paper while being a channel for his chakra, reinforcing them to a degree where a piece of paper can rival that of steel or place the most lethal characteristic of it's composition, paper cuts, harming those who would dare touch him.

• Learning Earth - Chakra Style Ability

  • Along with his unusual weaponry, wielding paper as a tool of destruction but regardless, he may choose for that direction but his fighting style doesn't fit such offensive tactics. Scattering sheets of paper around him as a way to prepare his defenses. As a barrage of shurikens were directed at him, he made the paper swirl around, reinforcing each one with his own chakra and as the shurikens made it's impact, the papers blocked the projectiles with no effort at all. That was his style, like a turtle hiding within his shell, Jin on the other hand hides in a veil of papers.

• Learning Healing Factor Ability

  • He could hear the clash of steel and blasts of chakra against his shield, he was covered in bruises and cuts from the on-going fight but even like him can't keep going on forever despite his style of hiding in his shell. Though he wasn't special at all, he did learn how to rest unlike others who would continue fighting with their dying breath. He knew the barrier wouldn't last long but he had to rest, even if it means risking his own life. As he closed his eyes, he could feel his wounds slowly disappearing, letting the papers do their work as they cover his cuts and bruises, preventing bleeding or further damage.

• Learning Tracker Ability, Willpower Ability and Insight Ability

  • Being calm in the midst of battle has its advantage, even if one were to be outnumbered. Jin stood in the open space as two or three rogues were dancing around, flinging shurikens and kunais as he followed them with his hands, the papers swirling around him and blocking the damage. He knew there were more, as he sent several streams of paper against the rogues dancing around, he kept his eye on one of them trying to hide in the nearby bushes. As he sent a barrage of paper shurikens, the bushes somehow phased through revealing nothing but air behind it. Something was fishy and he knew he fell for it. The last man was moving around so quickly, leaving afterimages of himself with every stepped and his attacks weren't even working. It wasn't Ninjutsu nor Taijutsu at all - no need to think at all, it was the obvious. Forming a set of handseal and reality shattered for a moment before returning, the man charging at him with a kunai at hand. Unlucky guy, last thing he saw was a veil of white wrapping him. Neither illusions nor sneaky tricks would stop him, he wouldn't let cheap tricks sway him to the point of losing.
    
    Sadly, while everything was done - all of the rogues nicely wrapped in their white cocoon, all squirming like little butterflies trying to break free. One wasn't moving at all, certainly not dead at all. All of the sudden, a man appeared above him, his shadow obviously leaving a clue for Jin's sight. As the rogue chuckled in excitement as his kunai pierced, Jin could only stare at him as he managed to pierce his paper but not him. He already saw it, it was too obvious. Like the others, he found himself wrapped in paper, this time a bit thicker than usual - most likely aimed to suffocate the poor thing.

• Learning Summoner Ability and Jutsu Mastery Ability

  • He could only amuse himself as he sat in the open, a stacks of papers on his left side and several origami animals in his right. It was windy and he was on vacation, no worries in getting ambushed or anything like that. Though might as well do something productive at least, he wouldn't want to go rusty even if it was just a few days of peace. While his origami was simply for display and creativity, he saw something far more valuable in them, perhaps even useful in the midst of battle. Pouring chakra in his already-made origami, he smiled as he saw his crane fly around, dogs and cats walking around and even a snake slithering around him. He knew there was something more - beastly origami and watching them walk around in the battlefield.
    
    Though as he watched his creations prance around, they seem to run out of chakra and go back into a lifeless paper once more. Focusing in his creation, his excitement caused him to pour too much chakra and watch as the chakra leak from his creations like water down the drain. He knew if this continued, he'll eventually run out of chakra. Folding a new origami crane, he made sure that he was able to place enough chakra and as he blew it away from his hands, the crane flew around him, longer than the rest - almost like an hour, an hour full of joy and improvement.

  • Despite his calm and serious atmosphere, one can't blame a person if they are naturally clumsy. Well, who wouldn't if one were to read a book whenever they are doing something else. Like Jin, he was quite prone to accidents when he was a child, almost gotten run over by a horse while crossing the street but for some reason, he always manage to come out well and fine. Even in the midst of battle, he wouldn't help slipping from a sleek sheet of paper that he scattered around the battlefield but when he does, everyone, even himself are caught off guard, eventually in his favor most of the time.

Abilities:

• Learning Fearless Ability

  • Knowing eventually death will come to him, he knew he has to strive further if he wants to survive, unflinching in the face of death itself. Jinouga knew his talents and skill were designed to protect him so there was nothing to trouble him, it never failed him, not even once. So what was the point of dodging an attack if he knew he is capable of protecting himself, shrugging off the damage and disregarding pointless matters. His papers was his will, despite the harmless nature, in his hands and imagination, it was a fortress to defend him and with that in mind, he'll run into any situation he's faced with, embracing what may come against him.

[spoilername="Explosion Affinity Role-Play"]Born into the Hikengen Clan, each and one them were possessed by a living flame that takes on the characteristic of their wielder. For Kai, his flame at first was small and weak yet steady as a straightline, showing no signs it would die out soon. A sign that signifies a slow death but whenever Kai would perform a fire jutsu, it would be normal like any others which led to confusion within his clansmen. Despite the confusion, Kai continued on and didn't believed on their clan's shaman that he would be dead before he was given the right to leave. He continued further and eventually showed him and his clan the true characteristic of his flame.

The night was cold and Kai stood in the circle formed by his clan's elders. A monthly ritual to reveal his flame to others and to show their current status. As Kai held his arms open, he called forth his flame which was practically the same. The elders mumbled at his flame, calling an end to his performance. Obviously in agreement that his fate was already written in stone but Kai knew deep within him that he had improved. He continued to held his hands open as his flame started to get smaller, almost dying out. The elder shouted for him to stop and get back to his sit when all of the sudden, the moment his flame disappeared - a flash of light that blinded everyone including Kai momentarily. In front of him was a large ball of fire, larger than anyone else's.

The clan's elder were amazed by the discovery but one stood up and held her arms out to her clansmen, "Perfect, I knew it all the time... an ancient flame that practically left our people for dead and forgotten without seeing its true nature. The female elder spoke, the oldest amongst her clan. "While true, a small and weak flame symbolizes death but there are rarer cases that it symbolizes a fuse, a time to awaken and burst into flames bigger and brighter than anyone else's flame." She added before sitting down.

Kai smiled and nodded in agreement, trusting himself that there was a change. He lowered his hand slowly as he watched the ball of fire get smaller, returning back to what it was before, a fuse for his flames.[/spoilername]

Abilities:

  • While the element of fire was a sign of destruction, burning away things into ashes, Kai knew there was more to that, namely their clan - the Hikengan Clan, an ancient clan that delved on the teachings of fire, showed him that the fire was the giver of life, otherwise, everything would have ended. Utilizing his elder's teaching, he was able to turn his flames into a way of healing, mending and rejuvenating his wound with the right flame. Although natural for him, this technique has saved him from many dire consenquences that would otherwise, kill him and leave him in the cold darkness.

@Hasegawa Renzo: Starting from the Elemental Affinity - Explosion, those are for my new character, Yamato Kai so I'm really sorry for the confusion as I have not yet cleaned my Profile. So basically, I started with 0 AE and 0 Abilities. As per my OCR, I was allowed to Rebirth into Mercenary with Medical Branch (as a previous branch before his forced leave in history).
