Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.
Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.
Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.
The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

From the deepest, darkest abyss of.. Darkness! KARASU has arisen from the shades to take the night back and to fill the hearts of many with darkness. Wearing a dark hooded cloak with pricing red eyes that stare deep into your soul, with the power of the darkness at her disposal she does not only rule over the shadow realm but she is also a master of the mind. Using sheer will power to cause an invisible dark force to crush even the strongest of opponents. This diva, like Maru has the same goal of ruling the night and tainting the world in pitch black darkness. Karasu, Mother Darkness is Maru's dream partner.

The Nara and the target of this jutsu cannot interact, or be interacted with, in any way with those outside this Dome. The user gains +3 against all attempts at entering/exiting this dome.

Rank 1: Creates 6 threads that spear the enemy, each dealing 295 piercing damage at +2 Accuracy. Instead of spearing a target, A thread may bind them, inflicting a -.5 dodge/accuracy penalty plus -.5 dodge/accuracy for each thread beyond the first that catches them.
Rank 1 Cost: 2.5 AP, 640 Cp to Initiate, 50 Cp/Rnd per thread.
Maru has made many puppets that has plenty of hidden tricks and gadgets to help take others by surprise. This time he was able to figure out how to use traps in order to ensnare his opponent, traps that can produce wire that may bind his opponent to hold them still while he goes on the attack or simply to weaken his opponent. Creating a weapon of this type would be pretty easy for the young puppet master. After all although the ability to curse his weapons had proven mostly effective, making them stronger by giving them traps seems like the best way to go.

Bigger is better, a simple truth in the minds of these shinobi. But while having such a large weapon that are naturally powerful, they would be extremely hard to move and require two hands. Maru had learned that the bigger the weapon, the more likely the weapon would more than likely hit his opponent. So he began to slowly work on making his puppet weapons a bit bigger, a lot heavier in a sense so he could continue on working on the ultimate weapon. Needless to say that his ideal ultimate weapon would have to be dark otherwise what would be the point in having it.
A duel is an age old custom, extending back to the beginnings of modern combat. Those skilled in the exchange are well suited to fighting in one on one combat. Maru from battle experiences had learned that always hitting your opponent is the key to winning a fight, so while those pesky dodging insect's continue to try to slip through the cracks Maru’s combat instinct and razor sharp focus on defeating the enemy will push him over the top. Whether he'd have to set the area ablaze or keep attacking to get his way, chances are he would never give in until he goes down or his opponent does.

Maru had sat there, thinking of what'll make a powerful weapon. He had already had tired a Nara puppet, his cursed Kawaii puppet did the trick most of the time. But still he believe that since there was a man out there who sought to create the ultimate monster… he needed to figure out a way to create an ultimate weapon to continue fight back. But the real problem came when he tried to find a body of an fallen exile on records, in which there wasn't none that he could find so it looks like the dream of obtaining the heart of darkness died. He looked over at an old coffin that contained his body, not a new artificial body but the old body that was killed a while ago, probably looking mummified right about now… then a lightbulb went up…
What if he could fuse HIS OWN body with his puppet then he'll have the puppet of darkness that he'd been wanting. Then he'll have that ultimate weapon because he'll actually be using himself and Kawaii as a weapon! She was made in the image of himself so it would hurt to try to fuse himself with his beloved puppet. After all he wanted to try that anyway…

Maru had looked at both the mummified looking body, then at his cursed puppet from his Genin days then back at his puppet again. He was trying to consider if this would actually work, could a exile that had been fused with a cursed puppet gain the power of darkness like he wanted. There was only one way to find out, he wasn't sure how this will turn out but he could at least give a attempt. Without any more hesitation he began to attached his threads to his old puppet and then to his new puppet. Bringing the two closer together… slowly.. Ever so slowly. He used the ability of puppet fusion as they touched.. The reddish chakra that his beloved puppet once had became dark, very dark. The darkness aura of darkness taking while in a dark purplish egg like shape, the once soiled corpse and beautiful doll revealed that when they became one. The two became some kind of sword… or was it a key?
The strange key like blade was black and with long reach. The hilt guard is comprised of two bat-like wings extending downward. The teeth of the key is in the same shape of the character for "darkness" (闇). The chain on the end of the key had a black crown with a chain-like design runs up the length of the blade. The diamond on its hilt purple, a violet and black smoke oozed from the blade floating towards the hands of the young shinobi. And as soon as he placed his hands on the keyblade, the key turned into what his new puppet now looked like. Kawaii now had shoulder length clear blond hair, her eyes are a bright blue color, and she has beautiful plastic skin. She wore frilly dresses with ribbons in the neck and a headscarf. She is extremely beautiful and charming. When Maru thought of the keyblade, it transformed into the mighty blade then when he thought of his beloved kawaii the beautiful blonde came back. “Well this is cool.” Maru said, turning the doll into the keyblade then began to walk to the door, wanting to test its power...

After many attempts in awakening the inner demon within himself, this alter ego had been created to strengthen the darkness within Maru's demonic soul. Acting as a sort of sponge of negative energy, this persona sees to it that the darkness within Maru doesn't die. Usually Leiko awakens as soon as the third eye is used, this alter ego is more arrogant and calmer than Maru and has more knowledge on the dark realm where he came from, unlike his first personality.

By focusing all of his demonic chakra into his forehead, this other side of Maru is able to clearly be aware of the surroundings around it. Using the ability of the third eye to unlock the mortal restraints on his mind, this grants him the super sense beyond all senses. With his dark mind open he is able to gain a understanding of all things. This applies to any and all kinds of information, knowledge, wisdom, experience, and even memories of his demonic ancestry! He is also able to pinpoint just where a opponent is located, seeing chakra and being aware of those trying to sneak around so stealth doesn't always work on him. But hey sometimes he may slip up, after all once he starts talking about the darkness he won't stop.

Using dark ritual that places himself into an endless abyss, it channels all of the negative Youkai energy within itself. Letting the darkness consume it until the cursed chakra that Maru had becomes natural energy! Pure negative natural energy which causes the body of Maru to go through a… small transformation. Giving Maru the actual look of a demon, so close to becoming a full demon but yet still far from his claws.

This side of Maru has mastered this art of moving his hands quickly to draw his weapons. After hundreds of attempts in training to get his weapons drawn as quickly as possible he was successfully in summoning his puppets at the blink of an eye. Quickly pulling out two scrolls when his he would close his eyes to blink he will quickly summon his creations by the time he opens his eyes. With such quick movement of his hands it will determine if he gets the jump on someone first.

Those with stronger determination will be able to dispel illusions more readily than those with weaker minds. With the ability of the third eye, this side of Maru has a stronger defense against genjustu. Able to use a single Justu only made to cancel genjustu C Rank or lower, this side was able to perfect it to cancel all genjustu if known that it is under some kind of illusion. This is a good counter against those who seek to torment him mentally, after all demons use nightmares to cause shinobi’s to feel uneased, so it isn't hard to break through a genjustu if given enough time.

Due to his other side seemingly having a lot of energy in the tank, this side of Maru seemingly has to have a lot of energy coursing within him. Now that he is a human puppet, he is actually able to hone in that skill to make him recharge himself with a simple wind up key he would place inside of a key hole in the back of his head to rewind himself so he can gain more chakra. Within a serious battle he would wind himself just enough to get a small boost of chakra to go charging into battle again. And if the constant winding up won't work for him, there is always the option to refuel himself with energy drinks.

Deflection
The one thing that he notices that a lot of shinobi ends up doing a lot in battle. They end up missing their attacks a lot, and because of his abilities in blood bending abilities he can make his opponents a bit inaccurate when fighting against the Puppet master. So it wouldn't be hard to deflect attacks to another target or to minimize the damage that would be done to him. So within his usual training Maru would attempt to block incoming projectile weapons, keeping his eye open for an opportunity to use these attacks against another target. As long as the hit isn't too accurate, he should be able to knock it out of the way.

This side of Maru has at least some insight on genjustu, but it has to learn how to convert the genjustu that affects the sense of touch into what he's already specialized in which is attacking at a range. Doing this was hard for Maru to accomplish however since the being who takes the wheel while Maru is drifting in darkness, it wasn't hard for him to train his mind to be more effective this way. Giving the darker side the ability to affect a person's sense of touch if given the right target. Making the split a bit stronger than the original personality.

So it wouldn't be hard to deflect attacks to another target or to minimize the damage that would be done to him. So within his usual training Maru would attempt to block incoming projectile weapons, keeping his eye open for an opportunity to use these attacks against another target. As long as the hit isn't too accurate, he should be able to knock it out of the way.

Shinobi 101- ability
This side of Maru has at least some insight on genjustu, but it has to learn how to convert the genjustu that affects the sense of touch into what he's already specialized in which is attacking at a range. Doing this was hard for Maru to accomplish however since the being who takes the wheel while Maru is drifting in darkness, it wasn't hard for him to train his mind to be more effective this way. Giving the darker side the ability to affect a person's sense of touch if given the right target. Making the split a bit stronger than the original personality.

Found in the darkest of caves, Yami feeds off of the negative energy that Maru produces. The hatred that Maru feels for certain people, the doubt from his teacher that Maru would even make a good enough ninja, the fear that weaker shinobi feel when they meet Maru, the very darkness that Maru produces is like a buffet. The being gaining even more power than it originally did living a life of isolation, the dark spirit now acts as both a super natural teacher and close acquaintance.

Where its neck and shoulders he had a violet and black smoke that looked to be shaped as a hooded cloaked, wearing a various degree of armor from head to toe with a long flowing black cape. Usually seen holding a rod that looked to be in the shape of a crescent moon, and all around him oozed that fearful aura that most Youkai dons known as Miasma to hide key weak points in his armor.
History: Like Yami, this creature comes from the endless abyss of the nightmare realm. Ma demonic nightmare who worships the all-consuming Darkness. Ma vows to feed the whole of existence to his "god" until all matter, time and thought are erased. His work will be complete when nothing remains, freeing him to finally leap into the singularity and become one with the end of the universe.

Description: This being looks to be entirely made of negative energy, it looks more like a dark comic shadow. Kura’s head is in the shape of a lit candle flame given a purplish pink eyes with a glowing marking on her forehead. Her head too doesn't seem to be attached to any kind of neck, the dark matter which holds this being together is formed into the shape of a woman with long sharp claws and she appears to be legless. Using negative energy as a skirt that looks more like a tornado of shades that looked almost like a huge dark solar system being absorbed by a black hole.
History: This being was once a black hole that swallowed many worlds into Darkness, over time the many unfortunately souls lost to this endless void began to pile feeding the growing Darkness until it took form with the souls of countless otherworldly creatures trapped within it. This Youkai made of pure Darkness tried to find a world in which she would be accepted, but the beings that dwell within the light refuse to take her. Some even tried to destroy her but needless to say they were unsuccessful in destroying this dark creature completely. For over 2000 years Kura searched for a world, a light at the end of the tunnel that but the light had forever abandoned her, looking at her as nothing more than a curse. Bitter, Kura decided to become a being that fed on fear, consuming worlds, seeking to erase all light from this world in hopes of returning everything to darkness.

The counterpart to the Kami, Youkai are often shunned and ostracized despite not necessarily being malevolent. This is no doubt due to them being naturally drawn towards mischief, as well as their capability of spreading havoc and misfortune where they appear, whether intentional or otherwise. It has become superstition that no good can come from associating with Youkai, not without cursing onesself and others with misfortune.
Effect:
- Those who hit, or have been hit by, the user become cursed with misfortune. While in this state, should they roll a 1 on any Dodge/GenSave roll, the opposing attack becomes a Critical Hit. This cursed status does not stack regardless of source, and lasts for the remainder of the round.
- The user and all of their attacks are considered Cursed.
Should a character have the Archsage Kinjutsu, their Senjutsu Manipulation ability's alignment becomes Cursed rather than Holy.
Miasma - Youkai Contract Independent Special Move
Youkai are capable of generating an ominous, vapor-like energy that causes disturbances to their environment and invokes feelings of paranoia and dread from those nearby. Should feel explainable feelings of anxiety and doom, it could be the presence of a Youkai.
Effect: Every round the user may create a miasma cloud for 1 AP. This miasma provides a number of benefits, but exactly which is used must be declared at the time the miasma is made.
10% chance that any attacks directed at the Youkai Contract Summon or their summoner will auto-miss. Upon causing an attack to successfully auto-miss it will disperse the miasma cloud. This does not stack if there is multiple miasmas being used in this way, rather that 10% chance is rolled twice (so if there is 10 miasma clouds being used in this way it does not mean that there is a 100% chance of a miss but rather ten 10% chances that the attack will automatically miss.)
5% chance that a combatant (this may effect friend and foe but the summoner and the Youkai summon themselves are considered immune) will automatically dispel a random maintained jutsu or technique (this includes jutsu that do not require chakra to maintain). This effect can be maintained indefinitely and can stack up to three times. These Miasma will not disperse if they cause a maintain to be dispelled.
The miasma attacks every opponent (may also be used to attack self or allies). There is no limit to the number of opponents the miasma will attack. This happens at 0 seconds timing and can be used as a conditional (such as 'attack myself if bound') but once the miasma makes it attack it will disperse. The miasma uses the user's Accuracy type of choice with a +1 Accuracy/DC bonus and deals 250 damage. Exactly when the miasma attacks an opponent must be determined by the user.

- There is no limit to how many clouds of miasma can be out at a given time.

A really strong fighter with awesome white hair, this beauty is well known for its strong Taijustu! Papa Hyuuga, like Teacher Hyuuga is a tall, lean man, with pale-colored skin and green eyes. His white hair is messy, with most of his long, uneven bangs covering the right side of his face. Maru dressed up his boy doll in a fancy uniform, donning a white long-sleeved button shirt, overlaid with a black vest and a red bow tie. On the bottom, he has black pants, with a black apron over the top, and a pair of black leather shoes. He puts a pin on the left side of his vest. Maru had created this puppet to be in the image of his sensei, but unlike his sensei this puppet can tap into Maru's abilities to make his attacks stronger, has a way better attitude, and he will ACTUALLY complement Maru with just a pull of the string of his back! Maru lives to fight, and due to his countless battles naturally he would have developed a blood thirsty personality. Enjoying to slice and rip he often attacks in multiple strikes to make sure that his opponent is so overwhelmed that they can't dodge all of his attacks perfectly. This is the easiest way to get some blood on his hands, causing his opponent to bleed out the more they are struck by him. Bottom line, Maru can't get enough of someone bleeding and once the bleeding starts it'll be more than likely he will continue attacking until his opponent is no more, or if he is down for the count.

If there is a will there's a way, and Maru found a way to strength his justu knowledge to make his attacks lay down twice the amount of hurt. Through grueling training, he continues to expand his knowledge on the justu that he knows, finding out ways to buff them up to do a lot more damage. He's also found a way to boost up the amount of clones he can make in one justu, and he's even learned how to buff up a weak barrier making it as strong as his his high ranking barriers. Expanding on justu to make them as strong as the justu he's already know could mean the difference in killing someone or being killed.

A really strong fighter with awesome white hair, this beauty is well known for its strong Taijustu! Papa Hyuuga, like Teacher Hyuuga is a tall, lean man, with pale-colored skin and green eyes. His white hair is messy, with most of his long, uneven bangs covering the right side of his face. Maru dressed up his boy doll in a fancy uniform, donning a white long-sleeved button shirt, overlaid with a black vest and a red bow tie. On the bottom, he has black pants, with a black apron over the top, and a pair of black leather shoes. He puts a pin on the left side of his vest. Maru had created this puppet to be in the image of his sensei, but unlike his sensei this puppet can tap into Maru's abilities to make his attacks stronger, has a way better attitude, and he will ACTUALLY complement Maru with just a pull of the string of his back! Maru lives to fight, and due to his countless battles naturally he would have developed a blood thirsty personality. Enjoying to slice and rip he often attacks in multiple strikes to make sure that his opponent is so overwhelmed that they can't dodge all of his attacks perfectly. This is the easiest way to get some blood on his hands, causing his opponent to bleed out the more they are struck by him. Bottom line, Maru can't get enough of someone bleeding and once the bleeding starts it'll be more than likely he will continue attacking until his opponent is no more, or if he is down for the count.

Through grueling training, he continues to expand his knowledge on the justu that he knows, finding out ways to buff them up to do a lot more damage. He's also found a way to boost up the amount of clones he can make in one justu, and he's even learned how to buff up a weak barrier making it as strong as his his high ranking barriers. Expanding on justu to make them as strong as the justu he's already know could mean the difference in killing someone or being killed.

In the battle with Umashiashikabihikoji, Maru lost his cursed abilities and all of his demonic abilities. With a single beam of natural energy, Maru's third eye finally closed, the demon that was aiding Maru in getting darkness ripped from his body, his aura cleansed from darkness and his curse seal had been broken. Of course, he had benefited from losing the darkness but when losing this ability to have cursed chakra he gained an ability to have a strange balance between cursed chakra and holy chakra. Not really a bad trade since he had gained a lot more from having a balance between the two.

Deciding that speed is key, Maru had decided to make his puppets strong by giving them all a special ability that could make them even more effective in battle. Having to learn that reckless fighting is not the best way to go the hard way, Maru had decided to learn how to enhance his justu rather than using big bulky puppets to take down his enemy. However, the reason for expanding his knowledge of justu would be to learn how to make even his weaker justu stronger. This alone takes time and effort but the determined Maru had decided that this was the best course of action.

Dragging a wagon along walkway of the graveyard, he reading a ninja info card about a certain shinobi who was a strong blind genjustu specialist. Maru decided to go on the search for this shinobi within the graveyards, he finally paused when he found the name of this blind genjustu specialist who had been rumored to cast genjustu through song which he found interesting. He double checked the name to see if he got the right name, then he nodded. “Congrats! You have been picked for remodeling!” He said grabbing a shovel, then gripped the handle then stabbed it into the earth then began to dig. He scooped up some dirt, tossing it to the side of him, then repeat. Scoop, toss, stab.
He did this for a couple minutes as fast as he could, that was until he struck wood. [b‘Bingo.’[/b] He thought as he scraped up the dirt with his hands to reveal the coffin. Humming a happy tune, he went over to the side to remove the lid to reveal the ‘treasure.’ The was not in the best of conditions to say to say the least but it looked good enough. It was a indeed a woman although he couldn't tell what age the dead shinobi was. Her skin was already a slimy green, with her cheeks sunken, her fingernails long and dirtied with twisted locks on her skeletal head. From her nose, and down her chin the worms crawled out and crawled back in. Maru's face soured, but then he picked up the body and tossed it on the side of the the grave. Maru hopped out, dragging the soiled body over the side of a black tree he grabbed a night guard to drag him to the grave, kicking his unconscious body inside. Then filled the grave with dirt burying the man alive.

"Hmm this looks nice.” Maru smirked at his creation. The soiled corpse of a Hashigaki clan into a beautiful puppets with built in megaphones hooked onto the puppet. Hell, the puppet itself can transform into a megaphone with a secret song included into it that would surely be a heartbreaker. He chucked to himself, then began to think of a name for his creation. “I'll call you… Megaphone Megalith!”

Becoming a bit cocky with his abilities in taking a hit, so he doesn't really have use in trying to deflect attacks aimed towards him because it'll be more than likely he would be hit either way. So he decided go for something a little different, by upgrading the armor he has to block attacks that may slow him down or even when strong opponents will try to break him. Either way he decided that instead of focusing on attacks that would probably hit him partially, he decided to strengthen his armor to make himself sturdy and resistant to stand up to attacks that may critically injure his body.

Switching to another body, Maru began to build his puppet bodies in a more different fashion. He wasn't exactly endurant since he was but since he could recharge his chakra at will and he decided to make his puppet body stronger. More resistant to critical attacks that may cause his puppet body some damage, adding more metal and padding but he kept this at a minimum so he wouldn't use too much chakra. When he finally perfected his body, he decided to try his new body on to see if he made it too bulky. And lucky for him, he successfully made a great unseeable armor that may save himself one day.

Forgetting Mechanized Weapon
Maru sat down on his work bench, deciding to dismantle the built in traps within one of his weapons, since he didn't exactly needed the traps because he usually uses other puppets he didn't exactly need traps installed within it. This would give him plenty of room to improve his weapons, making them stronger but then again he had different plans in terms of battling. He realized that what he could do was adapt two different fighting styles. One could be his usual reckless fighting of doing the most damage within how many seconds it would take for him to cast a justu while the other focus on breaking the opponent. He had pretty much two personality's and he planned on making himself and his other half a force to be reckoned with.

Forgetting Shinobi 101: (Non-Elemental/W Range accuracy)
Fighting with ninjustu although he had learned a lot of them, they weren't exactly strong in terms of using them property in battle. Although he did indeed learn a lot of effective ways to use non elemental justu, he still had only a few he knew that seemed more effective. So he decided to work on this little weakness by expanding his knowledge on ninjustu to grow stronger, that way he would be able to use all three fighting styles a bit more effectively. Since long distance attacks was what he was best in he decided to work on using ninjustu as range attacks to give him an extra edge.

Changing to... (Shinobi 101: Ninjustu Accuracy/w Range Accuracy)
Having knowledge on non elemental justu is pretty great, but he thought why should he adapt to one ability in ninjustu when he could master it all. Keeping this in mind, he decided to practice on not just expanding his knowledge on how to battle properly using ninjustu but he also began to learn how to cast ninjustu as a range attack since using close range combat wasn't exactly his strong suit. Using his knowledge in long distance combat he didn't just use what he learned to figure out how to use only one ninjustu type but he managed to learn how to use ninjustu properly at a range!

First two swaps approved. However, you cannot make your entire Ninjutsu Accuracy into Ranged Accuracy. It must be a subtype, not a full type, as listed in the ability itself.
Forgetting: Bloody Mess
After losing his cursed abilities, Maru doesn't find the sight of blood as thrilling anymore. He plays a role of being a person who would hate to get their clothes dirty with other people's blood, mostly to gain trust through his act of being an incompetent bad guy. Hence why he prefers to not get dirty since he's usually in a top hat and suit. He also adapted his fighting style of using projectile weapons instead of puppets as another way to disguise himself so he wouldn't be caught by any would be ANBU that would try to bring him to justice. But then again, the folks down in konoha probably already has their hands full than to deal with him anyway.

Heavy Handed–Ability

Bigger is better, a simple truth in the minds of these shinobi. But while having such a large weapon that are naturally powerful, they would be extremely hard to move and require two hands. Maru had learned that the bigger the weapon, the more likely the weapon would more than likely hit his opponent. So he began to slowly work on making his range weapons a bit bigger, a lot heavier in a sense so he could continue on working on the ultimate weapon. Needless to say that his ideal ultimate weapon would have to be dark otherwise what would be the point in having it.

Forgetting: Implacable
Since he lost his puppet body, he figured he had no need for stronger armor since he was immortal plus he was able to regenerate the more he hit people with one of his weapons so he found no use in keeping strong armor. Instead he was about to make room for improvement on his ability to use his weapons and add a few modification to do more damage. Maybe being able to use two weapons, at once to do more damage was one way since he prided himself with not being able to miss a shot since his range attacks were pretty strong.

Learning:;Ambidexterity
To do more damage, Maru decided that having a duel weapon would be the best tool for that. Not only he would be able to do more damage he would also be able to use his weapon to counter attack Taijustu or even ninjustu if he wanted with the other gun which he believed is nothing to sneeze at. Sometimes having a great defense is would mean the difference between how long you can last in a fight and who would be losing. Bottom line he could use his abilities in using his range weapons to do a lot of damage and to ensure that he would win

Forgetting: Puppet - Physical Style
Since he wasn't a puppet anymore, Maru figured that although he won't completely stop using puppets he didn't need to use the fighting style anymore since he mostly relies on projectile weapons now with built in puppet weapons to make one of his weapons pack an extra punch. However, since he was confident enough in his abilities in using projectile weapons he figured that he didn't need to keep a fighting style that he doesn't use. He wanted to make room for improvement for a new method of fighting, probably being able to draw his weapons in no time at all.

Learning: Quickdraw

There will be times when you simply have to draw your weapon so you can quickly get the drop on someone then and there. Dokuso had mastered this art of moving his hands quickly to draw his weapons. After hundreds of attempts in training to get his weapons drawn as quickly as possible he was successfully in summoning his guns at the blink of an eye. Quickly pulling out his weapons when his he would close his eyes to blink he will quickly summon his guns by the time he opens his eyes. With such quick movement of his hands it will determine if he gets the jump on someone first.

Learning: Willpower
Placing a hand on his head, Maru began to work on training his mind to fight against genjustu, and how some genjustu can cause damage that cannot be healed. He knew for himself after battling Maki how mean genjustu could be, so he decided to train his mind to fight against genjustu through the sheer power of will and determination. Those with stronger determination will be able to dispel illusions more readily than those with weaker minds. So mere illusions won't be able to hold Maru down for long, with his mind strengthened and his will strong Maru had the potential for dispelling even the strongest of genjustu.
