Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

Forgetting: Humans Anatomy
Since Maru had been training how to understand the full workings of the body, he could already strike at the weak points of an enemy without needing to have an ability to target weak spots. This makes using weapons much more effective when he decides to use his range weapons to cause more damage to people. Now he didn't need to actually understand the workings of the body in order to incapacitate someone or cause a fatal wound that would cause his opponent to bleed them out. So Maru decided to train up the ability to use something other than the ability to know how the body works, namely how to take advantage of his opponent while they are in a weaken state.

Learning: Combat Instinct
When fighting, things could get a little chaotic and all rational thinking will go out the window, but Maru has learned to take advantage of this by using his opponents disadvantages against them. Usually able to dodge and weave attacks, Maru can successfully use the damage he inflicts on his opponent to his advantage by making himself light on his feet. Becoming 2x more accurate with his attacks against anyone who is damaged to be able to fight hard and survive against even the deadliest attacks his opponents can throw at him. This adds another ability to make Maru brag about not being able to miss.

Forgetting Combat Instinct:

After knowing that he could be more accurate without having to do damage to someone he figured that he would train his skills on something with a little more beneficial to him so he could pass things on to others similar to him. If he were to mold his abilities into something that he could teach other people while he could still benefit from mastering another ability in his arsenal, than perhaps he didn't need his combat instinct to help him out. Perhaps instead of relying on himself he could expand his knowledge on his Youkai creatures in order to be able to summon them quicker.

Learning Contract Mastery:

A Ancient power of the bond with a Contract Summon can go even deeper than just summoning. By forming a special symbiosis with one's contract, a warrior can attain an even greater power. After a while, Maru began to do some grueling hours of training with his Youkai in order to fully master the way of the Youkai, being able to learn that he could use the power of the demon to grow stronger or he could make his creature stronger. In all actually, he figured out that he could do more than just summon his creatures of darkness but he could teach the process of summoning demons which seemed pretty cool. He sure wished he learned that he could do this a lot sooner, otherwise he would've been learned this.

Forgetting: Justu Expansion
After some doing some research on ways to make his weapon stronger, he decided that his ability in expanding his knowledge in how to make his weaker justu stronger wasn't really needed for what he had planned. He was pretty sure that with his Hawkeye abilities he could do more damage plus with him using a duel weapon most of the time, he figured that improving the weapon would be much more effective. Besides he would be able to use his Justu much more faster if he stuck with the basics, so he began researching on more ways to customized his weapon.

Learning: Mechanized Weapon
Maru has made many puppets that has plenty of hidden tricks and gadgets to help take others by surprise. This time he was able to figure out how to use traps in order to ensnare his opponent, traps that can produce wire that may bind his opponent to hold them still while he goes on the attack or simply to weaken his opponent. Creating a weapon of this type would be pretty easy for the young gunslinger master. After all he did have the ability to make his weapons transform into anything he desired seemed to be mostly effective, making them stronger by giving them traps seems like the best way to go.

Forgetting Willpower

Maru is heavily reliant on his signature weapon for support, since he is putting his trust into his weapon he figured that he didn't need a willpower of his own since his weapon can dispel genjustu. Hence why he considered having a strong will of himself to not be needed because he was confident that his Kawaii gun could pretty much handle anything. Call it crazy, but if his weapon was able to pull him out of a horrific genjustu plus it could make his mind stronger of he fused with it then maybe putting his trust into his weapon isn't a bad idea.

Learning: Poison Resistance
Ever since Maru was little– he had always had an interest in poisons, the way they cripple even the strongest of warrior's. Poisons are like a unknown enemy that can attack you from within, slowly but continuously breaking you down on the inside. Maru began to experiment with certain types of poisons that could be useful to him on the field of battle, or even for assassinations should that time should ever come. Some of the poisons Maru read about could target the eyes that could cause total blindness, some could target the lungs that could cause certain death, or even some target the limbs that cripples the ability to move. You could say from after reading hundreds of guides to poisons and his independent research on them, one could say that he was an expert on the subject.

Forgetting Hyperactive
Relying on his weapon is something that Maru does quite often, since him and his signature weapon share abilities, it now holds Maru's hyperactive ability. If he needed more chakra, all he really needed to do was try to was hold his signature weapon then he would recharge him with chakra. This left room for more things that Maru could practice, preferably something that involves using shinobi tools since Maru was a thief. Smoke and mirrors, tricks are always a good way to escape from any would be capturer’s. So training on using tools, he believed that this maybe the proper course of action for his line of work

Learning Technical Pacifist
Maru's keen sight allows him to be a pretty accurate shot, he figured that when it comes to battling against someone, targeting someone's hands or attacking their weapon would be pretty effective when going in for an attack. Since most Ninjustu and Genjustu requires hand seals, if he was to successfully fracture someone's hands it would remove the threat of a lethal ninjustu by from the equation...or at least from the opponent's equation. While they are trying to pick up their weapon again or trying to recover from the nasty bullet wound, this would open the opportunity to attack his opponent on their knee’s.

Forgetting: Ambidexterity

Maru although loving his duel weapon, enjoys using a good ol’ two handed rifle to attack everything. Not only is it useful in that regard but even some of his not-so-perfect attacks would still have a chance at causing nasty effects other than damage such as breaking someone hands seems pretty effective. So Maru decided to go for something that would help him in that regard, this would be easier to cause more damage to his opponent, slowly breaking his opponent down until he could move in for the kill. This could be done with one, good ol’ sniper rifle and with his Hawkeye ability he would be able to target limbs more effectively.

Learning: Strategist
Since being a puppeteer you have to come up with traps and ticks to slip out of harm's way. Dokuso had been gifted higher intelligence from the days he spent on studying on many topic such as the fundamentals of a shinobi, advanced techniques, practical strategies in fighting, theory on ninja arts, kekkei genkai, introduction to chakra, natural energy fundamentals, anatomy, guidelines to poisons, and the thing that he studied the most was father's books on the dark arts to find out the secrets his father never told him. This ultimately gave him knowledge of possible sneak attacks and he was able to think logically even in heated situations.

Forgetting: Quickdraw
Beginning to train on other things, Maru decided that his quick draw ability wasn't really required. Although quickly drawing his weapons for free might seem pretty cool it was pretty much one trick that he didn't need so he decided to focus on training more on countering genjustu. But what's a good way to counter against gen? The answer would be to actually know that he is aware of genjustu so he could tell his trusty signature weapon to dispell the genjustu. Maru and Kawaii are a team, so he needed to pull his weight so he didn't feel as his weapon was the only one putting work in.

Learning: Clarity
Since fusing with his signature weapon Maru possessing an advanced perception of reality on a heightened level, since he was gifted with this ability, he is able to view his surroundings with enhanced a clarity, naturally becoming more resistant to the illusory arts. Although not fully resistant, he is able to quickly call if something is a show of genjustu if the genjustu somehow got through the defenses of his signature weapons willpower. With his advanced perception and his signature weapons willpower, it would be pretty hard to fool him with genjustu. Pretty hard, but most likely not impossible for him to know.

Forgetting Contract Mystery:

After completing teaching some of his students the summoning technique, Maru decided to focus on his style of fighting which is utilizing projectile Taijustu to gun his opponent down. While he still while he enjoyed passing on contracts, he preferred his symbiotic relationship with his signature weapon since his weapon could pretty much handle anything. So he decided to master his skills in marksmanship vs having a special connection with his Youkai. After all he was a Kensei who already has a special bond with his signature weapon and not a sage, but then again maybe somewhere down the line he could learn the way of the sage.

Since Maru had been training with his signature weapon, it felt as if he was actually getting somewhere or at least he felt as if he was actually being taught things actually useful to him. With Kawaii, it took him no time at all to master the art of projectile Taijustu but his training was far from being over because there were still Justu that he haven't mastered yet. She told him that if he actually mastered all the ninjustu he would be able to do cool things like channel ninjustu through his weapon or even have more combinations for his favorite Taijustu technique known as Omni-Flash! His weapon had a wide array of knowledge of combat, knowing exactly what Maru should use and what he shouldn't use which made him also wonder if he should change his style of combat but she had an easy solution for that by using projectile style combat. With some hours of training he mastered the art of… SHOOTING!!!

Forgetting Poison Resistance
After some thinking, he figured that he didn't really need to have poison resistance since his weapon is usually prepped with poison anyway. Besides, he usually wore a mask which not only acts as something that would make him look good but it also functions as a gas's mask making Maru feel as though he didn't need to constantly drink poison in order to keep his immunity although it is pretty fun but he doesn't have to do that which was the main thing. So he decided to make some quick adjustments to his weapon, making sure that he had what he needed vs having something that might be useless to him in the future.

There will be times when you simply have to draw your weapon so you can quickly get the drop on someone then and there. Dokuso had mastered this art of moving his hands quickly to draw his weapons. After hundreds of attempts in training to get his weapons drawn as quickly as possible he was successfully in summoning his guns at the blink of an eye. Quickly pulling out his weapons when his he would close his eyes to blink he will quickly summon his guns by the time he opens his eyes. With such quick movement of his hands it will determine if he gets the jump on someone first.

Forgetting Mechanized Weapon
Maru sat down on his work bench, deciding to dismantle the built in traps within one of his weapons, since he didn't exactly needed the traps because he usually uses other puppets he didn't exactly need traps installed within it. This would give him plenty of room to improve his weapons, making them stronger but then again he had different plans in terms of battling. He realized that what he could do was adapt two different fighting styles. One could be his usual reckless fighting of doing the most damage within how many seconds it would take for him to cast a justu while the other focus on breaking the opponent. He had pretty much two personality's and he planned on making himself and his other half a force to be reckoned with.

Learning: Ambidexterity
To do more damage, Maru decided that having a duel weapon would be the best tool for that. Not only he would be able to do more damage he would also be able to use his weapon to counter attack Taijustu or even ninjustu if he wanted with the other gun which he believed is nothing to sneeze at. Sometimes having a great defense is would mean the difference between how long you can last in a fight and who would be losing. Bottom line he could use his abilities in using his range weapons to do a lot of damage and to ensure that he would win

Forgetting Shinobi 101: (Non-Elemental/W Range accuracy)
Fighting with ninjustu although he had learned a lot of them, they weren't exactly strong in terms of using them property in battle. Although he did indeed learn a lot of effective ways to use non elemental justu, he still had only a few he knew that seemed more effective. So he decided to work on this little weakness by expanding his knowledge on ninjustu to grow stronger, that way he would be able to use all three fighting styles a bit more effectively. Since long distance attacks was what he was best in he decided to work on using ninjustu as range attacks to give him an extra edge.

‘You know if you hold me to your forehead you can learn everything you need to know about kinetic genjustu.’ Maru chuckled. “Is there anything you can't do?” The young rogue said, if she was able to help him learn faster then he was all for it so he placed the barrel of his musket to his forehead, chakra threads latched onto his forehead and he felt as if he was already gaining the knowledge he needed, and not just Kinetic but he had knowledge of even other senses which he thought was pretty cool…..

Learning: Healing Factor
While everyone possess a natural recuperation rate, recovering over time with rest, Maru has the ability to regenerate health a lot quicker than others with his new founded divine chakra. He has a divine favor from some greater power. He had some kind of blessing maintains his health, and should he deem someone worthy, can also be used to heal others if he wanted to. Maru's physical wounds can heal a lot quicker whether its from holding his weapon in his hand or whether its from the amount of damage that he causes in order to leech off others health it would be pretty hard to take Maru down.

Forgetting; Technical Pacifist
Targeting someone's hand and their weapon seemed like a great idea at the time, but since Maru did lose most of his accuracy when he went holy he decided on working on targeting other limbs rather than just the ones he would normally target if he wanted to cause someone to drop their Weapon or fail at weaving hand signs. He actually found it useful to target someone arms could make them a bit less accurate so he decided to focus on the possibility of targeting other limbs inside of just the weapon. More accurate shots could mean better the chances on making their limbs practically useless to them.

Learning: Called Shot
Since being a shinobi, he found it useful targeting the limbs of shinobi. The heart could cause more bleeding, the legs can make it hard to dodge, the feet can cause people to stumble, the arms could make it hard for someone to hit you, the hands could really screw someone when they try to attack, and if you target the head they would be weak against genjustu. There are also ways for you to target the weapon to make it useless in combat, and being a expert gunman he had a sharp eye when attacking these limbs. Especially the process is slow but it would help if you're battling someone with no strategy.

Maru is always living for adventure and the excitement from the world on his journey to see the world. He has been known to excel in completing his missions and have a little fun on his quest along with his helpful signature weapon at his side to aid him in the ultimate quest for power and to become famous one day. Since given the rank of High Jonin by Umashi in his totally legit passport he is usually treated as that rank despite having to leave the academy before he even graduated. Before you know it, Maru maybe the most experienced shinobi ever.

Now that Maru has gotten the hang of his new ability with his eye of hypnotism, the young mercenary was able to now brainwash people with a single look of an eye in one hundredth of a second. This of course, caused Maru to want to change his fighting style up a bit so he would be a bit more effective in battle. Human Anatomy:
Taking his training to the next level, Maru has became a master at attacking enemy's weak points, hitting them at an alarming rate whether it be through the mind or on the body itself. By his innate knowledge of how the human body moves and where to aim, Maru was now able to make hid critical hits that much more devastating but not as devastating as he could've done before he got his eye of hypnotism but pretty effective to caused even more damage than what his critical hits would've done. With his eyes sharp and his attacks accurate he felt almost prepared.

Forgetting Called Shot:
Now that Maru was pretty good as using genjustu, he figured that he didn't really need to have the ability to target limbs since he was pretty good at using genjustu through his eyes to hold his opponent still while he goes in for an attack. Useful as it its, he mostly could just use the power of genjustu to make a person believe that a limb is broken but it isn't really broken. A smart trick, but that was probably the whole reason why he took up genjustu in the first place. The poor person who would go against him would never know when they are under his spell until its too late.

If there is a will there's a way, and Maru found a way to strength his justu knowledge to make his attacks lay down twice the amount of hurt. Through grueling training, he continues to expand his knowledge on the justu that he knows, finding out ways to buff them up to do a lot more damage. He's also found a way to boost up the amount of clones he can make in one justu, and he's even learned how to buff up a weak barrier making it as strong as his his high ranking barriers. Expanding on justu to make them as strong as the justu he's already know could mean the difference in killing someone or being killed.

To do more damage, Maru decided that having a duel weapon would be the best tool for that. Not only he would be able to do more damage he would also be able to use his weapon to counter attack Taijustu or even ninjustu if he wanted with the other gun which he believed is nothing to sneeze at. Sometimes having a great defense is would mean the difference between how long you can last in a fight and who would be losing. Bottom line he could use his abilities in using his range weapons to do a lot of damage and to ensure that he would win

Forgetting: Heavy Handed
Deciding that a huge weapon was alright for the most part, he decided to make duplicates of his signature weapon so he would be able to do a little more damage. When he fought he would usually be able to attack other attacks, however with using a dual weapon he would be able to minimize the damage he would take and use his fire elemental skills to blast two people with a Omni-Flash at the same time. So considering that he would be able to clash his attacks with a attack of his own, he'll be able to simply dispell a ninjustu or fending off attacks. A simple change in his fighting style..

Forgetting Strategist
Usually believing in his signature weapon, he decided to go a new route so he would be able to do more damage to people. While it is indeed fun to be prepared for almost anything, he believed that if he was to find a way to power up his Omni-Flashes damage he would easily be able to take a opponent out. Besides that he also had some knowledge in using genjustu as a means to weaken his opponent with weakening his opponent with illusions so he was able to finish them off a lot faster. While in the heat of battle, the rogue wouldn't really have time to think except for attacking and defending.

A Ancient power of the bond with a Contract Summon can go even deeper than just summoning. By forming a special symbiosis with one's contract, a warrior can attain an even greater power. After a while, Maru began to do some grueling hours of training with his Youkai in order to fully master the way of the Youkai, being able to learn that he could use the power of the demon to grow stronger or he could make his creature stronger. In all actually, he figured out that he could do more than just summon his creatures of darkness but he could teach the process of summoning demons which seemed pretty cool. He sure wished he learned that he could do this a lot sooner, otherwise he would've been learned this.

Forgetting Shinobi 101: (Kinetic Genjustu/w Range Accuracy):
After learning how to use his favorite kind of genjustu effectively he believed that he honestly didn't need to use the kinetic sense with range anymore since he was a uchiha and his mind was sharp enough for it to be impossible to miss with his genjustu with an exception of not being a to see exactly who he was attacking he decided to go back to using his original Justu type with range accuracy which was non elemental ninjustu since he wasn't no good at ninjustu for the time being which was excellent because now he could use Rasengan again without having to worry about if its a hit or miss.

A shinobi's skills are always evolving and growing.As they become more skilled with the various methods and ways of manipulating chakra those with the makings of an exceptional shinobi eventually find unique ways to wield their chakra.Since non elemental justu is what Maru uses the most, he began to mostly work with using non elemental justu to his advantage so he can use them more effectively. Using non elemental justu with his weapons, he's learned to manipulate his chakra to attack from far away while his summons would take on his opponent on the frontlines. A great strategy, but he would go battling in close range since he is a reckless fighter
