One sunny afternoon in the Seki District a couple by the name Kitos sent in a request for a Ninja to come and help them with their yard. Akane had received this mission. She was wearing her first work clothes, a reddish blouse, with a black undershirt, and a pair of tan short shorts. Her hair was up in a ponytail like normal. Akane looked over the job description, it seemed simple enough. She nodded firmly.
With that she arrived at the house. She noticed an older gentleman right outside, and she smiled and waved at him. "Are you mr. Kitos?" She asked curiously as she stared at the man.
The man nodded, "That would be me. Are you the one they sent?" The man asked as he looked at Akane. He had shot brown hair, with a t shirt and slacks on.
Akane noded to him, and grinned. "Yes, I am the one they sent." She said then the man motioned her to follow him. Akane followed him to the back yard. It was a small backyard, but it was more than what she had at her home. The yard had a small flower patch, that was infested with weeds, the grass was over grown, also infested with thorny weed. Akane looked at the place, she could do it, no problem.
The man showed her were she get the tools she needed, the tools were in a little shack that was made of wood. It seemed to be in good shape. Akane nodded.
"Alright I will get started." She stated and with that the man went back to his seat.
Akane grabbed a manual lawn mower, it was powered by just pushing it. She thought it would be best to cut down the long grass first as it reached her upper thighs. It was difficult pushing the mower through the tall and thick grass, but she was able to do it. It took her almost an hour to get the whole yard mowed down. Nest akane went around and started pulling out the weeds from the grass. It was harder than it looked because the weeds had been cut as well. That took her another hour to do.
Soon she was onto the flower patch, she looked over the pretty multicolored flowers with a grin. She carefully pulled the weeds out of the flowers. Weeding the flower patch only took a few minutes as it wasn't that big. Next Akane grabbed a rake. She raked the whole yard, getting all the lawn clippings and weeds. She made a pile, then used a shovel to pick up the pile and threw it away. After that was done, akane put away the tools she had used.
Her hands were full of scrapes and cuts from the thorns of the weeds. She ignored the stinging feeling, as she walked to Mr. Kitos.
"All done Mr." She stated with a grin. The man nodded.
"Thank you very much." He stated then he dismissed Akane.
Akane grinned and walked away to go report that her mission was successful. It was not that hard.
