Outside of the clan leaders, Sayomi was well aware that the most important person in the village was the Raikage and the list of ranks only went down from there. It was how she was taught and she had been well aware since as long as she could remember that she was born to be basically another face in the crowd. Even now most of the reason people had any interest in her was the spirit of lightning sealed within soul by her Santaru blood. That's why Uri had been here, it seems. The rain was a peaceful one, calm and quiet though adequately spread and hitting every inch exposed to it, thoroughly soaking the small gathering there as she feared what punishment she would endure when she got home for the problems she had caused or even if Kahako would scold her. Being troublesome and all, but the Raikage actually knelt down and lifted her head, making the kunoichi to look at him, her eyes blood red and face blotted in the wetted dirt from the road beneath them displaying a countenance of sheer confusion with her lips slightly ajar.
She wanted to say something, she wanted to reply, but no sound came to her lips. The Raikage moved his attention towards the small pair of twins but they sounded like a mile away, she couldn't hear or understand them, not that she wanted to, as terrifying as they were. However, things would go from bad to worse in a 0 to 120 scenario as a muddled voice spoke up, but it was one she was only too well familiar with as Uri rapidly moved in front of her. Far too close. The girl started to tremble and the rain that had started to die down slowly began to pick up once more with a new breeze added into the mixture. She was too panicked to hear his words and too frightened to will her body to move. Those flames...the sight of his hand engulfed in those blue flames had been burned into her mind and consciousness.
However, something startling and unsettling happened. A new voice, the child's voice, spoke up and...became deeper? She was jerked from her spot in an instant and it was done by her adopted brother Kiri, the man whom she hadn't seen in so long. Confusion. Shock. Horror. And now pain as his strength and the sudden quickness of Kiri far exceeded Sayomi's own strength and expectations (or lack thereof) as he gripped her arm unintentionally tight. Not that it mattered to the young girl. "Calm yourself, little fool," the Raiju warned with a low, threatening growl, but it did nothing but aid the flames of her personal distress.
Then Kiri said it.
A Hunt.
She was a target to be killed. By Uri. She knew she couldn't trust him. Despite the pain caused by the strange Kiri, the voice was known and trusted by the young kunoichi. Particularly when it was reaffirming her thoughts that Uri was evil, not that her mind was in such a state to judge good or evil or even properly convey intentions. All she knew was she needed to flee. This was danger.
Santaru were well known for their control of the elements, but Sayomi had recently displayed a control of the weather in connection to her personal emotional state, which explained for much of the rain when she cried. Immediately, lightning cracked across the sky with a deafening roar as if the Raiju itself created it, striking nearby ground as she feared the state and it mixed with anger to create a powerful emotion.
She broke free of Kiri and his grip, whether in the confusion where his grip loosened or she summoned strength enough to do so, but she started to back up for a few steps before bursting into a run. They would catch her, naturally. Three powerful adult shinobi. But she had one thing they didn't have. Summoning a Santaru clan hidden jutsu when far away enough, she performed a lesser version of the technique Updraft which launched her into the air away from them as tears and rain streamed down her cheeks alike with the storm having greater strength than ever before with the wind and rain in sync with each other, but no lightning strikes any longer. She flew. For the first time, the skies were in her control and she wanted to be alone and ride out the tumultuous emotional storm the day had brought. If she were allowed the solace and not stopped.
