Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

[Applying for Hashigaki Bloodline]
[Part 1 of app. story]
Part 2 of app. story]

The air was still in the maple district, as the first rays of spring sunshine cascaded down on the winter landscape, bathing the morning in light and melting the frost capped plants and bringing warmth to the clan houses. However, one courtyard remained cold under the glow of the morning sun, as Sora stood there in his regular morning clothes, standing perfectly still, listening to the sounds all around him, trying to avoid.. . Kunai! Turning towards the source of the sound that was so easily detected, Sora threw his kunai at the attacker, who had to use their kunai to deflect, rather than attack. Unfortunately for Sora, the assailant was his oldest sister, Akane, so the idea of completely going all out and trying to harm her was too much for him. She's a bitch, but she's still my sister... He thought, staring at Akane, who now stood opposite him in the courtyard, fully dressed in shinobi gear. "Guess you're getting a little better, baby brother." She said smugly, twirling her kunai around her finger, "But I don't know if you're worth to be the clan head with that kind of strength."

"Akane, would you just knock it off! I'm groggy, I still have to pee, and I don't want to fight with you anymore." Sora was getting tired of the constant attacks from his sister, and was just wanting it to be over. He'd been practicing an attack that would hopefully put and end to her incessant hounding once and for all. Now he just needed to bait her a little. She's stronger, yea, but I'm faster. Turning to leave, Sora once more slowed his breathing and cleared his mind. He could hear his heartbeat slowing down, and the air passing in and out of his lungs. quieting those, he could hear the house creaking and groaning, as well as the blades of grass stretching as the frost melted off of everything. and quieting the entire world around him, he heard Akane, standing back where she was, her breath deep and quick, he teeth grinding behind closed lips, her hand tightening violently around the kunai. let's hope this works... "Besides, I've caught up to you. you can't beat me now. Deal with it."

A hitch in her breath. a seemingly sudden and silent lunge forward, and a slight click of her katana releasing from its sheath. Sora turned quickly, forming handseals at blinding speeds. Does she intent to kill me!? Releasing more chakra than he ever had, Sora feels the air around his arm vibrate with sonic waves, as he ducks low, quickly raising up and striking Akane in the stomach with a devastating punch that echoed in both of their ears (Sonic Destabalizer). Tumbling over top Sora, Akane dropped to the ground, coughing up blood. Sora however, felt pain unimaginable.

Screaming and grabbing the sides of his head, a splitting headache tore at his mind, as he rapidly watched the world around him blur beyond recognition, and color start to drain from his sight. He was in so much pain that he hardly noticed his father come sprinting out into the open yard, or carry him to the backroom where his mother waited. He was unaware of the time that passed before the mednin arrived, and from there, he blacked out. Sora awoke hours later to his mother standing at the foot of his bed, a look of mournful disappointment in her eyes, "Good morning, son." She sounded like she'd been crying, "How are your eyes?" As she said this, they blurred a little more. "Worse..." Sora muttered, slowly attempting to sit up, "Mom, what happened?" His mother sighed. "Let me explain..."

"Our ancestors are decendants of the Nara clan; masters of the shadow. However, after generations of being diluted, and the ability to use the Nara techniques were assumed lost, only surfacing every few generations, and only sometimes."
She paused here, and Sora rubbed his eyes, as the blur slowly worsened further. "Our forefathers saw fit to mix bloods with another small family, and we gained power again, but at a cost. The Hashigaki are masters of sound jutsu, but at the cost of there vision." Sora's heart thumped in response to his shock. He knew it was something connected to his power, but he didn't know it was a bloodline for sure. His mother continued. "However powerful you may become, you will get weaker and weaker, unable to see at all soon. You are no longer fit to be clan head." Sora didn't want it origianlly, but to hear he was unfit filled him with rage. it was literally the only reason he was born. how dare she even say that! "The hell I'm unfit! Just because I'm Hashgaki by blood doesn't mean I can't fulfill my birthright!" His mother slapped him. "You will not talk to me like that again. And it's already decided. Akane will resume her place as the new head of house. I suggest you stop bothering her, and learn your place."

Sora sat there in a cold sweat, his eyes now so blurred that everything was vague shapes and lightly greyed out, as if the saturation in the world was vanishing. As he sat there, reeling in a flurry of rage and depression he heard her voice, cool and collected, like a spider slinking back to its corner. "Now you'll know my pain, little brother."
