Ishi looked down at the note of paper that was in front of him, it seemed that the pay for this expected mission was going to be something worthwhile for the village, and of course, he needed to make sure he was on missions as well as everyone else. He needed to be seen by others to be actively working for the branch since the changes have been made. After all, he needed to make sure that he was doing his best to demonstrate the expectations required of everyone that worked under him. As he sighed to himself slightly he folded the paper back up and looked around.
The sun blared down on him, as he sat by the bridge, the entrance the merchants would be using into the village, as he allowed a small smile to escape his lips. It was clear that this was going to shape up to be one more beautiful day inside of Fire Country. He didn't mind being out and about on a day like this, no instead he would take his time and make sure that the job was done. As he glanced over the bridge he witnessed the moving figures and carts slowly coming into sight.
The sound of the hooves of the horses across the bridge grew louder until the group finally made their way across, three in total and each one was loaded to the brim with trade supplies as well, it seemed that everyone had made it across ok and was prepared for the trek ahead of them, that he was going to be happy about, no trouble behind them was always a good sign for what was going to be coming ahead. As he began to greet the man leading the trade delegation and make plans for the travel into Konoha.
The trip would take the group in told around three hours from the way they had entered inside of the country. Moving with the group Ishi took a position within the center of the carts, deciding that the best defensive position would allow him to react to everything that was taking place around him, as he continued to watch out for any threat the sight of fast approaching trees allowed him to understand that they were getting closer to their final destination, but the forest was the one place were trouble always seemed to be, and it did make for a great ambush position.
The trundling of goods seemed to be making steady progress as it entered into the forest, no stopping and no real talking was present but that was ok, he would rather people be on their heightened senses than just allow conversation to distract them. Ishi spotted the gates approaching, though the village would be paid, the cargo delivered he considered that for a moment, the mission had no issues, it had not even had a single encounter with anyone else. Maybe the meeting of a Shinobi and transport inside of the village had done the job it was required to do. Putting anyone off from attempting anything, however was another completed mission in his books.
